Great little Irish pub in the midst of shops and hotels. The service at the bar was excellent and the food was decent. We stopped for lunch and had the half and half. The potato soup was not very hot and lacked flavor. The 1/2 Philly didn’t have a lot of meat. We had dinner there later in the day and the cottage pie was really good. I won’t go out of my way to go back there but if I am on the area I may stop in again.

The service is excellent and relatively fast once you can get seated. All the employees were friendly and the food great. Onion ring appetizers and hush puppies were delicious. The half and half special is a half sandwich with either soup or salad. The bangers and mash were a little bland, but so goes British Isles meals. The potatoe soup is really cheesy but delicious as well.

We had a difficult time picking where to eat. Most of the local eateries had the same menu with mixed reviews. We ended up at the Wee pub because the menu seemed decent. This place did not disappoint. We started with 10 wings teriyaki/peruvian sauce. The Peruvian sauce was like a sweet and sour with a little zest. Both were good. I ordered the Cottage pie, and my husband had the Reuben. Both were excellent. Seasoned well, nothing was bland. Dessert was the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Similar to a French toast, with a pecan sauce. Not too sweet, done just right. Staff was friendly, our server Emma had impeccable customer service. So glad we picked this spot. The atmosphere was more of a family style restaurant, than sports bar. I’d definitely eat here again.

Visited here May 2024.Our first night in Jekyll, we got to-go from here. This is a pub, but with a Vegetarian menu. Surprising but good vegetarian food!We got the impossible Nachos and the power bowl. Good amount of food and toppings for what we paid. The bartender was nice and gave extra condiments and utensils.Day 2- We went back to eat in person. Good service on a busy evening. Had a mudslide and their house punch along with dinner. Great experience once again.We’d definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Didn’t get to catch their live music on Thursday, but perhaps next time.Vegetarian options: Specific Vegetarian menu you can ask for- Salad, Impossible Nachos, Power bowl (veggies, quinoa, impossible meat).

Irish pub food + live music, what more could you ask for? Well, bread pudding, ask for the bread pudding too!We ate here twice during our stay and enjoyed it each time. We tried quite a few different dishes, as we were a group of 6. Fish and chips, shrimp, burgers, sweet potato fries, Reuben, and cottage pie were all good! Oh and the hush puppies, yum! I usually think they're pretty lame, but for a simple, boring hush puppy I was impressed!Easy win.Sorry, not many photos.

Wonderful spot!! We were seating quickly and our waiter was very attentive. They even gave us old 80's water games to play with while we ate. We had onion rings as an appetizer and they were VERY good. Good batter and done well. One person had the drunk chicken salad and we all wished we had ordered it. Another had the chicken tenders - they were huge and juicy and delicious. 2 of us had rubens and they were spot on. We ended with the bread pudding which was DIVINE!!!!!! Absolutely will come again.

Super friendly staff. Our server was Daniel and he was very nice. Atmosphere was pleasant with good music playing, but not too loud. Our food was very good and servings were plentiful. Would have been 5 stars on food also but the burger was a bit overcooked. Only thing I didn't like was being charged extra for getting ranch dressing instead of marinara for the cheese sticks.

First time visiting Wee Pub on Jykell. Classic Irish Pub sports bar setting and atmosphere. Lots of TV's and Jamison bottles. Arrived 5:45 Friday afternoon and was seated immediately. Our server was friendly, prompt and curtiouse. My wife had the Fish and substituted the chips for a side salad. She enjoyed both and REALLY liked the fish. I had the the hot wings and they were good size and tasty. Will probably go back during football season to enjoy all the TVs as well.

We were seated and had our drinks before a group of 20 arrived. Our waiter brought our appetizer, and said our server would be right with us. He stepped over to the group and took their drink orders. When they got their drinks, he took their food orders. Then I stopped him to ask about our server. He asked what we wanted, which meant he lied to us about another server. I told him that he should have taken our order before he took that group order. He said, well I haven't put their order in yet so... Well once we received our food, one of the fish tacos had a hair on it. In the meantime we had moved outside to get better Internet service. Then some lady from that group came out to smoke and was telling another lady how rude we were. Well we were not rude and I asked if she had a problem but she didn't respond. I took the tacos back in and showed it to them. No apology given! Will never eat here again!

I hate writing bad reviews but unfortunately I found a piece of lint/dust on my bread pudding. I'm not sure if it was the area where the food was sitting but it had an underlying taste like an old rag. I had that thought prior to even locating the dust particle. The piece wasn't that big, understand the pic of the particle is magnified with the zoom feature from my camera. The fries were good, fresh and hot. The black and Bleu burger was too salty for me but that's my fault as I didn't think about the Bleu cheese and bacon being way too much salt for my palette, if you like salt then it's a decent burger.

While the fish tacos aren't anything to write home about... The son loved his burger, daughter had grilled cheese and salad (vegetarian), and husband said amazing chili. Liked both the island mule and the Irish mule!!! What are vacations for if not enjoying cocktails??? 🤣 Haven was a perfectly attentive server. There when we needed her, but not annoyingly up in our business either! If we ever have occasion to get back to Jekkyl Island it's a return location for us. 💖

We just went on New Year’s Eve. We thought it would be really chaotic but it wasn’t too bad. Packed out tables but not too crazy.We got seated quickly and I read reviews beforehand. We got the crab dip, fish and chips, and the drunk chicken salad.The dip was awesome and the cheese was flavorful. The fish was crispy and good. The chicken salad was awesome I could not stop eating it.They were nice and the environment was good for a pub.

This place is a really great place to eat on Jekyll. Great fast service with a smile. I might be biased as I’m British but the food is spot on. The cottage pie appears and tastes to be made from scratch, as I would make it at home, and the veg appears to be hand cut. The gravy is Bisto or something similar. Really nice to taste home cuisine in the US! Great people and atmosphere.

Really liked this place. The beer was eh, they were out of the one good beer they had. The fried cheese sticks were good. The fish tacos were great, fish and chips too. The dessert was well done, the pecan whatever it was was great. ... We were super frustrated with this island, appearently during covid they can't keep staff because they are making more money on unemployment. The first night we were here we were turned away from this place, and this was repeated over and over night after night everywhere on the island. In the end, the waitress was awesome, and the food was great, so I hope the good people keep doing the good work, the visitors need them.

Wee Pub in Jekyll Island honestly blew me away with how delicious, flavorful and thoughtful their food was. The service was excellent and there were tvs all throughout the restaurant, so it's perfect for watching your favorite team, while enjoying great food and a whiskey.I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger with Cheddar Cheese and the Cottage Pie(cousin to the Shepherds Pie) Both of these plates were AMAZING. Filled with flavor, some serious Irish soul and a whole lot of good cooking sense. The burger was so soft and juicy, one of the best I've had in the state of Georgia. Then there's that Cottage Pie...Lawwwwt Have Mercy. 😍 If a plate could have soul, this dish would be brimming with it.I highly highly recommend coming here for a cocktail and a meal I promise, you won't forget.-xo

We got right in and had excellent friendly service. All of our food was delicious. Highly recommend the crab dip appetizer. The fish tacos were also really good and the sweet potatoes fries were also delicious.

The Wee Pub has absolutely scrumptious beer battered fries. The food is very tasty and fresh. When I commented on how delicious the water was the waiter volunteered the water is double or tripled filtered. If you know Jekyll Island you'll understand this comment. Wee Pub unlike many of the other restaurants on the island is reasonably priced too.
