Absolutely best choice in hotels!! I read many many reviews and decided to take a gamble after reading them. Lots of reviews said the place was dirty and unfriendly. That couldn’t be farther from the truth in my experience. Tara at check in was absolutely amazing and helpful, the suite was HUGE! We are a family of 5 and it was perfect for us, honestly we could have fit a few more if we wanted. The room was spotless, everything was clean and comfy, and there was basic kitchen needs already there. The breakfast was good and free, and with 3 kids I won’t complain about free food! Over all everything was fantastic. My only complaint, and this is just my personal preference, is the bed was too soft for me and of course being on the bottom floor the guest upstairs were obnoxiously loud. But that was no fault on the hotel. The pool was great and it was awesome to just walk across the street to the beach. I most definitely will be staying here again!!!

At the time that we booked it was the best price available on the Jekyll Island. The room was spacious with outside entrances. The bathroom was huge. It was clean. The included breakfast was decent.Rooms: Spacious, clean and huge bathroomNearby activities: The beach is a block away and the center of town with shopping was only 3 miles away. There is either a paved pedestrian path or sidewalks that go from one end of the island to the other. Great place for bicycling.Safety: We felt safe, no one hanging around outsideWalkability: Everything on Jekyll Island is close. The beach was only a block awayFood & drinks: Decent breakfast included

Seafarer Inn & Suites is a great place to stay when visiting Jekyll Island, Georgia. The prices are reasonable, the rooms are clean and spacious, with large bathrooms, delightful air-conditioning and a flat-screen television with hundreds of channels. There are two comfortable sitting chairs, adequate bed and ceiling lighting (with a ceiling fan), and adequate plugs for charging cell phones, tablets, iPads and laptops. My room had an large, comfortable king-sized bed with six soft pillows.Parking is right outside your door. The check-in process is fast and you are asked to give a $50 security deposit charged to your credit card, in case of any damages or other expenses, but this money is credited within a few days of check-out.The rooms have coffee machines, mini-refrigerators and a desk. There are bicycles for rent by the hour or multiple hours, or for an entire day.The free breakfast is served buffet style from 6:30 AM until 9:30 AM, and it is much better than many places. Hot ham and fried eggs, cereals with milk, waffles with maple syrup or honey, various Bigelow teas, delicious coffee, juices including orange juice, and muffins, toast or English muffins. There is an assortment of jams and butter. For the comfort, money and location, Seafarer Inn & Suites is well worth considering. The beautiful Atlantic beach and powdery sand dunes are just two hundred feet away, across the road, and entered to the right of a Holiday Inn.

I had the best experience at Seafarer today, when I needed help with paperwork that I had to send! We are campground hosts and we do not travel with the office equipment that we needed. The person at the front desk wasn't sure if they could help, but instead of just sending me away, she took time to find the manager. I don't think we always get that kind of customer service anymore and it was really nice. Both of them seemed genuinely happy to offer customer service, and they did help me! If the rest of the staff is as friendly, and if the rest of the hotel is as clean and orderly, as what I saw today, I can't wait until we need a room on Jekyll Island!

Nice & close to everything. Didn't have to leave the Island. Breakfasts were nice. Variety each day. Stayed Thursday to Tuesday. Pool was a nice size. Needed cleaning with the amount of people that were using it. Ants were bad. Towels, lounges & pool toys were nice. The room was in the perfect spot. Quite, saw deer, a gray cat & a hummingbird. The rooms needed better cleaning. I had ice melt on the floor used a towel to soak it up. Then just moved it across the floor. It was black. This was after room service came to clean & change out linen & towels. I will bring my mop, broom & cleaning supplies next time. I don't like sand or dirt on my feet when I haven't gone anywhere.

I have asthma, which I had informed the mgr. Some mildew is to be expected in Georgia, but the place reeked of mildew. I kept mydoor open and left the next day. I had to go to urgent care for asteroid shot after my stay. Anyone with allergies, stay away, I will be disputing any charges because this level of mildew is a health hazard. And for all of you who don't suffer from asthma, consider yourselves lucky.

Definitely will be returning to this hotel, it was a great stay!! We had a family emergency pop up on the weekend we were originally booked & they were kind enough to let me move my stay to the next weekend. The rooms were spacious, we had a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms. One with a king bed, the other with 2 fulls. I understand it’s tough on housekeepers so i had the usual few slip ups of hair still on the shower wall & a few dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. But it didn’t sour our stay at all. We carry extra cleaning supplies while traveling. Other than that the room was very clean, put together. Also each room has a ac unit and that was a HUGE plus. Convenient & quiet.

I stayed at the Seafarer Inn between July 25-29, 2023, checked in the 25th-checked out the 29th, room 225.My issues included the following;Black mold in shower (corners, drain, grout etc.)Plaster falling off of shower wallPaint chips/plaster falling off wall in roomClogged sink, inoperable drainRusted light fixturesDirty/Black FanRusted Bathroom VentStains on carpetStains on doorsStains on wallBlack mold on air conditionerMissing base sheet on one bedDried blood (red stain) on sheet on other bed.Limited wifi connection. If too many people were using it at the hotel you couldn't log on.Lack of towels-We had to wait for towels numerous times-receptionist didn’t have any.We had to turn out towels in, literally we had to walk downstairs and across the parking lot to turn in towels in order to get more. (What’s housekeeping for at $200 a night?)No cleaning-Trash was on us to take out every day and the bins on the second floor were full every day-they were not emptied. No housekeeping to enter room when we were not there to make beds, take out trash and restock towels. No receipt on check out. Receptionist stated they could not provide a receipt.I reached out to the front desk on the housekeeping issues and asked for another cleaning and was told by a young girl she would see what they could do and another front desk attendant (male) made the comment about getting some more product for the mold issue. Unfortunately, housekeeping never showed and the issues were not resolved. I saw housekeeping in the mornings during our stay and from what I could tell they stayed at the bottom floor corner next to the ice machine just hanging around. In my opinion trying to look busy. It just didn’t seem that there was a lot of urgency on their part to work.Personally, I don’t know if my wife is ever going to let me live this down. We chose this location out of many options and travelled nearly 16 hours. Our vacation to the area was good, the experience with the hotel was horrible. It was without a doubt the worst place we have stayed on any one of our family vacations. For $200 plus a night, I expected a higher quality, better attention to detail and customer service. For a $1,000.00 stay, I most certainly feel ripped off.I obtained the general managers email from the greeting form we obtained at check in where they stated our personal satisfaction is your foremost priority and that each room is deeply cleaned and disinfected.I reached out to the general manager following our stay and advised them of our issues and received no feedback. Very Poor Customer Service. In closing, I’m sure the hotel industry is difficult and good help is hard to come by. That being said, your business is the hospitality business, and in this case, this hotel missed the mark. Sad...Just Sad...Rooms: Outdated. Not well maintained or cleaned.

My fave hotel on Jeckyll Island. Only problem this time was pool was closed on Sunday. I had to go to the front desk and she told me it was cause of a pump. No sign was posted on any of the gates. I had a hard time believing that because people were swimming in it up until 11pm the night before. Other than that, rooms were great. Cozy beds and such a peaceful area.

Located across the beach so not beachfront. Room was dated and sparsely decorated. Beds were comfortable but this isn’t an attractive hotel and doesn’t compare to a Hilton or Marriott especially when factoring in the price. Room 120 needs a facelift, honestly the whole hotel needs a facelift. Needs to be updated to todays standards for higher end beach travel. Staff was accommodating…decor and ambiance is not their problem.

Lets start with a couple positives. The pool is great, price is affordable, location is good. But you have to STAY at your own risk! Its not for the faint hearted. The room we had was dirty. Sheets were dirty and had stains on it. Requested a set of new ones, and the set we received had strands of hair on it and had MORE stains on it! Unbelievable. Im sorry, but it was nasty. Wouldnt want to walk bare foot while in the room, carpet in the room is dirty, tiles were slimy. Had to tell the kids to wear their slippers ALL THE TIME. Remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.It was affordable but heck, the room was nasty.

A solid 4 stars. Rooms were comfortable but a bit musty. (bring a nice scented candle with you). Great location, simply walk across the street and your on the beach. My only complaint is we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 5 registered guests an the towels and toiletries provided were sparse yet they didn't have any at the front desk so we had to wait until the next morning and acquire more from the housekeeping ladies. The outward appearance is a bit stale which is understood being that close to the beach but you could see they were making improvements. Nice stay, will definitely stay again in the future.

Clean, comfortable, excellent location and killer views. Great place to stay in Homer. Living in Alaska for 15 years, I’ve stayed in the good, bad and the ugly, but I assure you seafarer suites will accommodate your needs and provides top notch accommodations. Want to fishing? Chad and Ofishial charters has you covered. They keep it 100% on the fishing and accommodations -Joe

This hotel is only 15 minutes off I-95 - and a 90 second walk to the beach! It's a great value proposition, which, given the location, makes it 5/5 for me. If you are traveling I-95, take a break and enjoy Jekyll Island. I pulled in at 4 PM and was on the road at 10 AM after a nice, free, hot breakfast. Next time, I'll stay for a couple of days. The hotel staff is super nice and told me right where to go to get some great beach photos. I suggest upgrading your room to poolside.

Location is very good! Not on the beach but a short walk to get there. Rooms are big but housekeeping could be better when it comes to the cleanliness of the bedding. Furniture is basic, nothing fancy. We stayed in a two bedroom place with a kitchen. No curtains in the bedrooms, only shutters. As others have stated, light from outdoor lights stream in at nightime. Need to put up blackout curtains. The Inn could use more items in the kitchen like can openers, utensils, etc. It had a small set of dishes and pans and one spatula. The bugs on the island are insane right now! We ended up purchasing spray and so cannot comment on sitting in the outside area with chairs, which looked nice. Pool was clean and enjoyed by many! Thanks to all who posted about this place before with honest reviews!

Stay at your own risk…Experienced a dirty room once arrived, evident that housekeeping had not been there. After a request for clean linens we were told maintenance would “hook us up”- no clean sheets were delivered to our room. Stayed for the weekend for the shrimp n grits festival. The wait for the shuttle was 1.5hrs since the inn shared a shuttle with a different hotel. We also experienced bugs..needless to say we did not have a good experience.

Usually a wonderful place to stay buy the past couple of times the employees have been snappy and they do not seem to care what you have to say about it.The room was not too bad except for dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the floors were gritty. Towels and wash cloths you practically have to beg for every time you stay there. The pool pump was broken one complete day. (No discount offered).Had to practically beg for clean towels and don't even think about asking a housekeeper for assistance with anything.I tried to do this the right way by contacting the hotel first but they read my message and clearly did not care because there was no response whatsoever. My family has been staying at this location for years and this is very disappointing. There was one employee that actually tried his best to help accommodate out needs but the others were just rude. When you pay this kind of money for a hotel you expect more concern when you have problems.

This is my second time staying here, and I just love it. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are immaculate, and the location is great for early morning walks on the beach.Thank you for being dog friendly as well. It can be difficult to find a quality place to stay when travelling with my pet. The room had hard flooring, which is great for any hotel because it just feels cleaner, and especially a hotel that allows animals.
