We walked up and ordered pizza and salad to go, and it was awesome! We played on their beautiful playground with our son while we waited for the pizza to be prepared. Took the food back to our hotel and enjoyed a delicious, low-key dinner. This is our second time to enjoy food here, and we plan to return each time we visit the area. Thank you for a great dinner!Vegetarian options: The veggie pizza is very good. We also ordered the Pizza Bianca. The Greek Salad was super fresh and delicious as well. We really enjoyed it.Kid-friendliness: The playground outside is really great, and pizza is almost always a kid friendly option.

Best pizza I have had in a long time!! We had calzones and cheese bread ( I ate a piece prior to picture lol) both were delicious. Ophy was our server and she was very attentive even though she was super busy. My glass was never empty and she kept us updated on food which came very fast! Highly recommend and will be back next time we come to Jekyll Island.

Great little pizza shop. Husband and I got the traditional pep pizza with a salad each (small Ceasar and small side) and the Alfredo cheese bread. Everything tasted fantastic and the portion sizes were huge. The guy at the window was friendly and helpful. Watch your trash if you eat outside. Thanks for a filling lunch in a relaxing atmosphere. 👍

There's not a lot to go on about Red Bug. Walk up order window to place an order. Pizza was okay, not great, but edible. Can't speak about the atmosphere because the dining area was closed. Turkey sandwich was okay served with Ruffles. Hot Wings were good. If we come back, we may give it another try and see if we can sit inside for a meal.

A little tricky to find without a GPS but a nice, quaint little restaurant. Outdoor dining and a take out window are the first thing you'll notice. Once inside there's a bar fireplace and tables. Once seated we were attended to quickly. We both were in a pizza mood. Ordered the thin crust over hamd tossed. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. If/when we come back to Jekyll Island we will definitely stop in again.

I stayed on Jekyll for 3 nights and I ended up eating here twice it was so good!! Closest you'll get to brick oven quality pizza without the brick oven. The crust was nice and crispy and the veggies were fresh and generously topped on the pizza. The cheese sticks were very good as well. Even when they were busy, it wasn't a very long wait for the pizza to be ready.The only suggestion would be to add more tables on the deck - it seemed there was room around the corner of the building to do so. The deck was nicely shaded. The tables on the grass had ants all around, much like the rest of the island, so a patio or deck table was highly preferred. There was a playground and mini golf next door which is great for people with kids.I will absolutely eat here again next time I travel to Jekyll Island!!Vegetarian options: There were a lot of veggie toppings to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Playground

The attitude of the girl on the phone taking my order was pathetic. Literally yawning loudly as I spoke. My order was pretty simple. Sorry to bother you! Ordered 2 salads, 2 pizzas and a lasagna. One was a salad. The second just lettuce and they forgot the rest! Lasagna yuck. Called to tell her about the salad and she got all perturbed asking what do I want them to do. Unfortunately I paid cash to the driver so I asked for another salad. Honestly I don't want to eat it.Never again

Had taken out last night. Jan. 31st. I had to have this pizza because I remember it from 9 years ago. It definitely was not as good as 9 years ago. Seemed as if the crust was pre-made days in advance and tasted like cardboard. Now the young lady that was at the take out counter was so nice and polite. Told me to be very careful driving and be safe. That is not something you hear from many people working customer service now a days. I don’t normally complain, but had to mention this and I hope it will give some insight to Red Bug. Thank you

This was amazing pizza and better than most I’ve had. It’s a cute family owed pizza place that make great pizza and also rent out gift cart near the airport.I recommend coming here if you want a quick bit to eat.

We showed up unfortunately 15 minutes before it closed and to our surprise weren't turned away even when they found out we were a party of 10 and not two. The staff was gracious and funny and it really made my husband's night, since it was his birthday and it was the only place he wanted t.p eat. Thank you to everyone at red bugs pizza for making a special night even more remarkable.

First time pickup/takeout was delicious, red bug special, hot wings, grilled chicken salad all delicious. Staff was helpful and overall great experience.Parking lot/lights are rough if you’ve never been there but about what I would expect for a local island establishment so not at all unhappy, just could be improved a bit.Would recommend to anyone with kiddos or looking for a good pie/wings.Parking: Hard to figure out at night if you’ve never been, no lighting for what seemed like the obvious parking spots.

Red Bug Motor's Pizza, located across the street from the beach front on Jekyll Island, Georgia, was tasty and fun. They had the place all decorated for Halloween. The pizza was yummy and they had gluten free crust, which made my lady happy. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice glass of wine with our pie. Great reward after a hard fought game of miniature golf next door. They also have an outdoor window, so you can grab a slice while playing a round. Give them a try!

Good pizza. Price is Affordable. The inside decor is really cozy with a full bar and fireplace. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We had the Alfredo pizza, a pepperoni and peppers, and the cheese bread appetizer. We will be back!
