We enjoyed our stay here, but it seemed like our room wasn't quite ready for us at check-in. The beds were slightly made in a hurry, and there were no towels stocked in the bathroom when we arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they got us everything we needed without any issues. Our room was on the first floor (which was great), but we had no view to speak of. If scenic views are your main goal, you may want to try a different location on the island or at least a different room in this hotel. The breakfast was really great. Waffles, hot sandwiches, muffins, and bagels were just a few of the items offered. The beds were very comfy, and we made good use of the kitchenette. It's always handy to have a larger refrigerator to use while on vacation. Our son enjoyed the pool on the warmer days, but it was quite chilly as it isn't heated. It is a very beautiful outdoor pool area. We travel with our dog, and they were very welcoming. Everything was very clean and well managed overall, and we would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Our room wasn't clean when we got there. Hair all over the bathroom and kitchen. Cleaning lady is super sweet, but she needs to switch out rags or something, because on second day, after cleaning, there was more hair in kitchen. And there was a new spot on bedside table. Toilet seat was twisted, so needs to be tightened. The beds are uncomfortable. When we got there, we had already signed in on app. But couldn't get into room. Front desk said our card was denied, but all they wanted was for us to pay an inscidental. This was are go - to place, but not anymore. Now we have to find a new place to stay, because we will not be back.

Great location, clean rooms, nice breakfast but sadly poor management! She has bad attitude, I asked for the location of the drinking water fountain, unfortunately this hotel does not have one but she asked me get some from the gym (this plastic gallon water was always empty, we stayed 5 days and was never refilled) then she asked me to get water from outside showers at the pool which I couldn’t believe.Last day I asked for changing a bill to leave some tip for housekeeping who were really helpful but again her bad attitude come out again telling if I didn’t know it was a bank on the island. As Hilton Honored members we travel really often with this hotel chain, usually managers and front desk are friendly, hope this hotel can improve services here. Definitely calling Hilton Honors customer service soon.

This hotel and several others next to it; are in the perfect location for walking to different destinations on the island. The hotel is very clean, no smells in the building.Free breakfast every morning between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. the cleaning staff is very pleasant and respectful of your privacy. The staff is very helpful.Enjoyed our stay.Rooms: *Lots of space*Clean*Quiet*Charging ports*Fully stocked kitchenette- Pillows are a little flimsyWe were very comfortableNearby activities: There's a marketplace. There are several restaurants within walking distance, there's a alcohol store, and the beach is within walking distance.Food & drinks: Wee Pub Restaurant, Sunrise Restaurant,Fuse (frozen yogurt), and Tortuga JacksIf you're looking for a food with lots of flavor and not over the top in price, these are some of the places you should visit when visiting Jekyll Island. All of them are within walking distance of the Westin and Home 2 Suites

I am very disappointed by my latest stay here. The shower was distinctly dirty. Of course they can only be bothered to clean every other day, so I got no housekeeping. The towels were old, stained, and holey. No lotion or conditioner was provided, and the hair dryer only worked in a plug far from any mirror. The paper towel roller hung on the wall crooked next to unpatched nail holes, and the toilet kept running. The staff was rude and ignored me while I was waiting to check out. They also don’t give bottles to anyone less than gold status, and honestly I don’t know why I’m bothering with collecting Hilton points at all.Next time I will stay at the Westin across the parking lot. THEY greeted me every time I walked in, passed them, or stopped at the door.

The location to the convention center was amazing. Walking distance. However, the service I received was less than mediocre. I arrived at the hotel at 1 p.m. I was informed that the room wasn't ready, but it would be ready by standard check-in, which was 3 p.m. I waited in the parking lot with my family in our vehicle. I went back in at 301 pm to check in, to which I was informed there are still no rooms ready. The young lady said she would check on something for me and she'd be back. I did tell her. I booked an accessible room because that was all that was available, but I do not need that type of room. After a few minutes, Sierra came to the front offering assistance. I explained to her I had been assisted and was waiting for the previous young lady to return. She handed me a clipboard and said, "Write down your information, and we'll call you when the room is ready." I explained again that I was waiting to see if anything was available. She again handed me the clipboard and repeated herself..-_-. I explained to her my daughter had to get dressed for her competition and I really needed to get my family in our room. She offered for my daughter to use the public restroom in the lobby to get dressed using the handicap stall. To which my child replied, "ew". I said that won't work. I walked away, frustrated, and asked my fiance to give his information because I had to get my daughter to her competition. After a few minutes, I went back and asked, "Is there not anything that can be done?" Are there any other rooms because I can pay for a bigger room, to which Sierra replied, "Do you want to check into a dirty room? " I said to her, Sierra, was that called for?? Why would I want to check into a dirty room? She said, "Well, you asked if we had any rooms available?" I said, would you want to check into a dirty room? That was uncalled for and unacceptable. I was livid. I called her an Effin idiot and walked away. To which she replied the language isn't called for either. As I walked to the parking lot. My fiance came behind me less than 5 minutes later with a baggage cart. I asked him why he had that. He stated that the manager, not sure whom she was, heard me and Rude Sierra. She came out front and asked why she wasn't in a room? To which Sierra replied that there aren't any accessible rooms. The manager told her, then switch her to a non accessible room. (Insert blank stare) EXACTLY. That's what I asked and stated more than once. Thank you to whomever the manager was. She was gone by the time I came back in and walked to my room. Sierra is awful and should not be allowed to work the front desk. Especially at a hotel where I paid $300 plus a night for. Smh. Thank you, and good night

The staff at this location were first class. Rooms didn't have an oven or stovetop so very limited in ability to prepare meals even though we had decent refrigerator and dishes. Clean facilities. Morning breakfast options were limited, no regular yogurt only stuff with artificial sweetener. Hot options were not good and powdered eggs in paper bowels were kinda nasty. Location is awesome and price was reasonable.

Clean rooms, and generally nice space BUT on windy days there are flaps on the building that clang. I asked front desk if someone could look at that, and they said no - that sound echoes throughout the building, down to the first floor. They suggested turning on the bath fan for white noise to drown out the flap sound. Adding sound to cover sound doesn't seem like a great response. Will be sleeping with ear buds.

This was our first time staying in the Jekyll village area and it was actually really quiet. We stayed on the pool-facing side. It was great to be walkable to the beach and stores there. The hotel was really clean and the room was nice and big. I agree that you probably don't need to spend extra for a balcony room unless you just want it. The beach is not super visible due to orientation of hotel and other hotels partially blocking view. Everyone was very helpful, including the women at check in and a woman later who helped us rent bikes from the front of the hotel. Breakfast area was kept stocked well even when it was busy. The breakfast was OK, enough to get you going. I'd recommend staying here and we'd come back!

Great location for going to the conference center. Comforters had a few stains. We had to go to the desk for towels. Breakfast was great. Hotel was quiet and peaceful.Rooms: Suites were spacious. Full-size refrigerators and microwave. Nice space.Nearby activities: Stores, ice cream and yogurt places, small grocery store, bar, and beach. There is putt putt down the street.Walkability: I really didn't have to move my car very much. Very easy walk to many activities.

These suites have a complete kitchen, not just a microwave. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. They have a full breakfast. This would be a great place for an extended stay or a family vacation. The beach is right across the street.Safety: Area is well lit and feels safe. I was not afraid to walk alone.Walkability: The beach and the conference center are right next door. The side walks are clean and safe. There is lots of landscaping to admire.

We did an overnight for a girls trip. First off, Brandi at the front desk was so pleasant and friendly every time we walked through the door.We were checked in quickly and given choice of the floor we wanted. The room was clean and large. The only complaints I had about the room was the position of the TV. The TV should’ve been more centered between the couch as. The beds. It was really hard to hear the tv on the furthest bed for wind down time.We did have issues with the drain in the bathroom sink that we reported to maintenance when we checked out.All in all, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for affordable sleeping quarters on the islands

You pay for a room that is not ready. Plan on booking the room at 10:00 pm the night you arrive since the room will not be ready at 4:00 pm. We waited 2.5 hours and they offered no compensation. Never taking the chance and staying here again. Just spend the money and stay at the Westin!

I'm actually in the room as I speak. It's late September and I came for a conference. I booked a 2 queen studio which comes with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. I'm the only one staying in the room and it's spacious even if I had other guests, plenty of storage. Be warned the bathroom is small for those who do plan to bring a crew of people, plan accordingly. I love the black out curtains which makes it easy to catch a nap as it makes the room pretty dark even with the sun out. The fridge, microwave, and dishwasher are great for those staying long or traveling with kids not wanting to splurge much on the overpriced food of the island. The water pressure is not high in the shower, not sure if that's for water conservation. The air conditioner was set to 65 when I arrived but the room temp remained around 72 to 73 degrees. I found myself uncovering myself from the bed sheets at night cause it was too hot. The pool area was nice and the max depth was 4 feet and some odd inches, I want to say 3 but not sure. It was never crowded but I also traveled in September. There is a fire pit and grill section near the pool area. The beach was a short walk away, definitely no oceanviews from the hotel but that was OK. The shops and restaurants are walking distance. The gym area looked OK for a vacation workout but I opted to run on the beach at sunrise. The staff were friendly as I lost my towel card after being warned it was a $50 charge not to turn it in, no issues when reported to staff. I was here for a conference so I had activities throughout the day and wasn't in the room much but if I come back to jekyll island, I'd stay here again!

I was at this location as part of a convention and it is right in the middle of a complex of hotels within short walking distance of the Jekyll Island Convention Center and local restaurants and shops. It’s also centrally located so that staying at the nearby (more expensive) Marriott, Westin Hotels were easy to Connect with when we wanted to meet socially.Well, not on the beach itself it’s a short walk to the beach, public access and also less than a quarter of a mile from the 24 seven gas station and convenience store, as well as a short drive to local parks and all the other attractions on Jekyll Island.I also had an induction cooktop with cooking pans and covers in addition to the microwave and refrigerator freezer.I ate better and save money that I would’ve if I had to restaurant food all the time rather than once in a while when I felt like doing it

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. This was our first time visiting Jekyll Island, and we chose Home2 Suites because we are loyal to Hilton hotels and we like the location (close to the shops and convention center). I was a little hesitant about the quality of the hotel because of some of the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. However, we had an excellent stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. While the island was busy during our visit, we never had issues finding parking. We stayed on the second floor overlooking the pool, and never encountered any issues with noise. The breakfast was good, although I wish there were more fruit options. We did not use the pool or the gym on this visit, but I did have to use the laundry facilities and that was also clean and easy to use. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends, and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean hotel with a friendly staff. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are that the water pressure in the shower was awful (not really the hotel's fault because pressure is bad on the whole island from what I hear) and parking was a nightmare at times. The parking lot gets used by The Westin across the street and by families visiting the beach. We had to park down the road at times as we watched families unload their beach items and walk to the beach. One night we had to park in The Westin's furthest parking lot because Westin guest can park in Home2's lot and be closer. Also, breakfast is served at 6:30am on weekdays, but at 7:00 am on the weekends. We were there for a weekend golf tournament and had to be at the course by 7:30. Didn't allow us much time to eat anything.

Not an ocean front property but it's a 5 minute walk to the beach. It's right next to the shopping strip on Jekyll and close to the gas station. Everyone on staff was friendly. The hotel is probably the most dog friendly place we've stayed in. The pool is a good size and plenty of outdoor seating. Breakfast options were diverse. Definitely recommend!Rooms: We had 6 people in our party. There were 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. A dishwasher and microwave are in each room and you can request a cook top and pans if needed.Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment within a mile from the hotel. No need to drive around looking for stuff to do!

Loved the entire room !!! So roomy and clean !!!!My only gripe is that for the free breakfast silverware should be dispensed from a machine or individually wrapped!!! It is extremely unsanitary!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the silverware is loosely just thrown in drawers for guest to rummage through and pick up, many folks do not even wash their hands so to have silverware displayed in a way where everyone just picks up silverware out of a drawer with no regard for cross contamination occurring is not good at all!!! It is quite disgusting! Needless to say I didn’t go back for the free breakfast the next morning because of this exact reasonSo I did not feel at all safe to take advantage of the free breakfast so i did not get to enjoy that amenity but for only 1 day out of the 4 days I stayed there

We love Jekyll Island & decided to give Home 2 Suites a try due to their large, spacious suites that offer full kitchens. We’re a family of five.We always inspect our rooms immediately upon check in. Never ever expecting to actually find anything concerning.Unfortunately, although Home 2 Suites has many signs post about cleanliness & Lysol etc- our room was not cleaned. The sheets on our beds were COVERED in hair. It’s absolutely disgusting that someone would take the responsibility of working on housekeeping to be so careless and lazy.We were & still are absolutely disgusted. I spoke to the manager on the phone and while she moved us to a new room, it did not change the fact we were extremely uncomfortable. Everything felt dirty after seeing the complete disregard for our BEDDING. We felt no reaction from the management or other staff other than moving us to a different room. I would be appalled as a manager, that my staff represented my facility so poorly. This is what we could see with our “naked eyes”. Just imagine what we couldn’t. Completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY in 2023 post Covid. We will never stay here again & will never recommend. There is absolutely no excuse for DIRTY bedding.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The hotel team members were friendly. The location of the hotel was great! It was within walking distance of our favorite restaurant on the island and the beach. The hotel is located in a quiet area where we felt safe. I liked how I was able to park my car in close proximity to the hotel. The common areas and our room were very clean. Staying at Home2Suites on Jekyll Island was a great experience!

Shower dirty like maid didn't clean it. The hotel ran out of hot water...... Seriously....... No hot water when I went to take shower. Breakfast, yes included, didn't mind it, but not the best breakfast. McDonald's was better for hot sandwiches.Nearby activities: Centrally located to everything!

This is a nice place to stay especially if you have a child. Big refrigerator, kitchen sink, microwave, and dishes in the room with a curtain to separate the beds and small living space. Lots of storage areas to put food and other things along with a closet space to hang clothes. The only thing I didn't like was the showerhead. It's too high and barely gives much water and pressure but it worked.
