I absolutely love everything about this hotel! The amazing staff, the customer care, the location, the porch swings situated under the Live Oaks with a view of the ocean, the bicycles, the restaurant next door, and of course the peacefulness of Jekyll Island. I have been coming to Jekyll for many years and stayed in some much more expensive hotels. This was by far my favorite experience, and it is now my preferred destination. Well done Beachview! See you next year!

This is the most BEAUTIFUL HOTEL we have ever stayed in right on the BEACH and under the beautiful trees with swings. It’s Gorgeous!!!! They have a beautiful pool and a wonderful fire pit to sit around also. **VERY CLEAN ROOMS & COMFORTABLE BEDS —WONDERFUL PEOPLE are employed here William was great at check in. We stayed 2 nights the first time then went to St Simone’s the next night then came back here for 2 more nights and Morgan was wonderful at check in. Sarah the housekeeper is such an amazing lady also. We will definitely be back again. Such a Wonderful experience. Thank you!!

We stayed at this hotel to attend a marriage retreat hosted by my job. My wife and I really enjoyed the location of the hotel and the access to the beach it provides. We also liked that the several restaurants were within a 5 min. drive. The room we stayed in was spacious. It was better than expected. The staff was really friendly and the service was great. My wife said that the complementary champagne at check-in was definitely a plus.

What an absolutely amazing place to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Everything including the staff was just perfect. Our room was great with an awesome view. Walks on the beach, meeting new friends out by the firepit and touring the island were so much fun. Thank you William, Sarah, Morgan and all of the wonderful family and staff for making this a very special time for us. We already look forward to coming back to the Beachview Club.🙂

The customer service was top tier! After I booked my room, the day I arrived I received text message saying they could not wait to see me. I thought it was automated but it was the staff texting me in real time,! Will and Diane were amazing! Small drawbacks was I didn't realize the property was exterior entry with no elevator.I love that they give you complimentary drinks. Not just 2 waters but sodas, juice AND water!I stayed in the Butler Suite. There was a huge balcony with an amazing view!! The room was clean, but it did have a smell. But I sprayed some BBW room spray and it took care of it. Bed was comfy and it was quiet and peaceful. I could see the ocean from my room. Amazing! The staff continuously checked on me via text so see how I liked the room. I felt like a celebrity. I've stayed in many hotels but as small as they were they were big in customer service! I felt welcome before I arrived!Would want to stay again!!

This is a hidden gem! Just next to the water and amazing view; all you need is a 3 minutes walk to the shore passing a pastoral area you will love. You have to see it to believe it.There is a nice pool right there a few steps from the backdoors of the rooms with lots of comfortable chairs. Fire pits add flare to evenings. Staff are very friendly and Fridays at the lobby you will have wine and beers in addition to day long coffee and teas everyday. This is not a pretentious hotel. You will have everything you need in this place. Quiet, clean, well maintained, friendly and relaxing.William at the guest services is an exceptional gentleman with amazing knowledge on just about everything! As a bourbon lover, I can say I have never met a person who knows so much about bourbons! He will list 40 of them with main company and affiliates as well as the names on the bottles and comment on the taste of each with details. His sense of humor and ability to mimic the accents made this place extra special. My wife and I visited the lobby a few times everyday just to chat with William! We will certainly visit the place again.

Spent the weekend and it was absolutely lovely from champagne at check in to the clean and comfy rooms complete with fluffy white robes and an outstanding view. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel is centrally located to everything. Every effort was made to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Not a chain hotel, a true gem and we will be back !Nearby activities: Centrally located to everything - the restaurant next door was great too.Walkability: Bike paths and walking trails galore. Bring your bikes.

Ok but definitely not great. Room was little grubby & not very nice. Ceiling looked like it might drop stuff on me. Restaurant is awful. Wouldn’t seat us for dinner. Went back for breakfast but altho they say they have menu, it was a gross breakfast buffet, super limited and looked awful. Nice location altho generally unkept outside. Very expensive for what you get. Lots better places for comparable prices.Food & drinks: Awful restaurant

If you are looking for a hotel in a calm serene setting, this would be it. The rooms are clean, the beds are great. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful with several shady, quiet places to read or take a nice nap. Diane in the office is a real sweetheart able to answer almost any question. She made us feel like we were friends forever.

My husband and I stayed one night at Beachview for his birthday. The hotel is clean and quiet and in an excellent location for the ocean side of the island. You cannot beat the outdoor atmosphere day or night. Our room was underwhelming. The view was blah, the set up was awkward for a king suite (no couch, chairs were really weird), and the bathroom door…well you better not be people who seek privacy.Rooms: Bathroom doors are barn style and at the right angle you can see the person on the toilet. Does not block sound.Chair in room had the softest cushion in a bad way. You sunk right in and pretty much sat on the frameKing suite had a large balcony but no view.Room was exceptionally clean and well stocked.

We have stayed at the Beachview several times now. The experience is five star from start to finish. Mel is a wonderful mix of professional, efficient, welcoming, funny and informative. She makes the stay truly memorable.

I was very happy with my experience at Beachview Club Hotel. The room that I was in had a balcony. the room was large (mine had kitchenette), nicely furnished and clean. The staff was friendly, courteous and engaging. I received daily text messages asking about my experience. The back of the property was easily accessed, had beautiful trees with several chairs including a 'porch swing stand' facing the ocean. I feel that I got my money's worth from room and property's location to the ocean alone. The service was exceptional, it was what you would expect when paying much, much more. I will be back in the Fall.

If you're looking for a special relaxing experience look no further!Beachview Club Hotel is in contact with you even before you arrive because when you arrive to check-in they'll have champagne glasses ready to get your experience started right! We opened the closet to unpack and found there were bathrobes for our leisure. In the fridge complimentary waters, soft drinks and juice. For coffee, they had a Keurig. We had the perfect room, with the best view and were able to open our door to beauty and swings under majestic trees. We saw dolphins swimming as we were watching the sunrise. What an unexpected treat! Not to mention the beautiful butterflies around the property. The staff we met is: Mrs. Mel, Mrs. Diane along with Mr. Williams and another very kind employee, Jonesy. Each interaction with these employees was a professional, warm and courteous one.Another detail is they have bicycle rentals on property and they are pet-friendly.If you are looking to have a relaxing experience and experience superb customer service just stay at the Beachview Club Hotel.St. Simon's Island is 20-30 minutes away which offers many additional dining options.

The guy at the desk I think his name was Will, was super nice and explained everything to us perfectly. They gave us a glass of champagne upon arriving. They also checked on us periodically and the room was nice and clean. They also provide free drinks in the room and they have a keurig with pods. We will definitely be back!Nearby activities: Walking distance to the beach.Food & drinks: Walking distance to restaurant.

Returning to Jekyll Island for a family vacation, we chose this hotel for a unique stay away from chain hotels. We also needed it to be pet friendly, limiting our choices. What an awesome decision this stay was.Beginning, our trip was supposed to start Wednesday, the day Hurricane Idalia ended up passing through the island. The hotel was very communicative with us, and Jonesy and Mel reached out to us on multiple occasions before our stay to work with us regarding our travel plans in light of the inclement weather. When we arrived, power was still out from the storm. The staff constantly provided us updates as they heard from Georgia Power about ongoing delays in restoration. When Georgia Power updated the time of restoration, William at the front desk called us right away with the updated time, profusely apologized (it’s not even remotely his fault) and offered us a glass of champagne in the lobby!! Power was back by dinner our first night.I share these things because while to some it would take away from the experience (no pool 1st day, no power) the hotel and staff were working extremely hard to provide for guests in ways they still could and communicate any changes. This is HUGE and made a massive impact! We felt included in the updates and changes of the various resort amenities and general island restoration status. While the hotel was quickly working at getting back to full operations, the beach was perfect so we weren’t left bored and the southern half of the island was open to explore and had power. This hotel clearly values and prioritizes guest satisfaction, even in the most adverse conditions. We enjoyed sitting by the firepits, the pool was temperate and lovely. The staff is overall the sweetest and kindest people. Diane makes the best coffee in the mornings, William who worked evenings always made us laugh. Mel was always around, buzzing away to make her guests happy.Sara is super friendly and lovely to chat with.Thank you to everyone for making our stay so amazing…we will definitely return!Rooms: Large rooms, only downside is bathroom door is a sliding barn door that technically does not fully closeNoteworthy details: Bike rentals available, easy beach access, multiple firepits, loungers in pool, accessible 1st level rooms

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was an amazing experience for us and our dog. We were pleasantly surprised with how personable everyone was when we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable and having the beach at the back door is beyond convenient. If you like a beautiful, peaceful, and convenient stay, this is your place to go. We will be making this our annual get a way spot.

Many pros - quick beach access, free drinks in mini fridge, nice lounging areas and firepit. The staff+. There was a great restaurant right next door. Also, a pool.Cons - I noticed the other hotels with lower prices had a lot more activities and more convenient locations. Bike and cart rentals, stores, more restaurants but were also better priced. I saw other reviews say they had a beach view and a kitchen. I definitely did not get those.

Spent a few days at Jekyll in October and loved it so much! We stayed at Beachview Club Hotel. What an awesome place. It has that “hometown” feeling. The staff made us feel like family. We received a daily text from staff stating they hoped we were enjoying our day, and if we needed anything to let them know. We’ve never experienced anything like this. We’re returning the week of Christmas due to the amazing hospitality of Mel and William. We have requested our same room number which had two queen beds, a full kitchen, one bath, a patio with rocking chairs that offered a beautiful ocean view. Our room had a huge flat screen TV and Internet access. There is a pool on the premises with handicap access. There are two fire pits on the property, and we enjoyed these at nighttime. We were able to conveniently walk next door and have all our meals at Beach House Restaurant. The food was delicious. ❤️ 🌊 🏖

If you're looking for a unique, private, and beautiful place to have your wedding (or just to vacation), look no further! I swear my husband and I explored every beach front resort/hotel on the East Coast. We wanted to find somewhere to host our wedding that felt intimate, had an all-inclusive wedding package, and would be a great family friendly vacation spot for our guests. The Beachview Club Hotel went above and beyond all of those expectations.Let me begin with the hotel itself. This is a boutique hotel, with only 38 guest rooms. The atmosphere is tranquil and remote. We had 40 guests at our wedding, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves for a week! The hotel is just steps from a gorgeous beach. It has a great pool with plenty of seating surrounding it. The two fire pits were perfect for unwinding with our family and friends at night. They have free coffee in the lobby every morning, but they also provide a Keurig and K-cups in the room for you. There is a restaurant/bar right next door called The Beach House Restaurant, which serves delicious food and drinks (including breakfast). The rooms are extremely clean, and housekeeping came daily to make our bed, give us fresh towels, etc. The pictures do not do this place justice. The staff- I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Beachview. I have never experienced the level of hospitality that we were given during our stay here. Every single person working at the hotel was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They knew all of our wedding guests by name. We actually spent a lot of time just hanging out in the lobby with Will and Diane, because we enjoyed talking with them so much. They truly treated our guests like family. All of our wedding guests just raved about how kind the staff were and agreed that they had never had such great service at a hotel.BRIDES/GROOMS- We had our wedding at the Beachview Club Hotel in June of 2023. We agreed (as did our guests) that we could not have chosen a more perfect place to tie the knot! The Beachview has multiple wedding packages to accommodate any wedding size (from elopements all the way up to large parties). We wanted to have a destination wedding, but we wanted somewhere that still felt private and did not have a lot of strangers in the background of our photos. We also wanted to be at the beach but didn't want to have the reception on the sand. This venue checked every box. We got married under the beautiful live oak trees with the ocean in the background. Our reception was on the lawn under the trees, and we ended the night by running right into the ocean with our guests! They also do have a ballroom that can be used as an indoor reception option. The wedding planner (Emily) and the general manager (Mel) took care of literally EVERYTHING for us. I was probably the calmest bride ever thanks to them, especially on the day of the wedding. All I had to do was get pretty and show up, and they handled the rest. If you're dreading the stress of planning a wedding, then leave it to Emily and Mel. I promise you'll be in good hands! I had so many questions, and they took the time to answer all 5,000 of them (and they were SO patient while doing so). They thought of every small detail. When we arrived, we had champagne, snacks, and a handwritten card waiting in our room for us. The night of our wedding, we returned to rose petals on the bed, a bottle of champagne on ice, and chocolate covered strawberries. The catered wedding food from The Beach House was so tasty. All of the vendors that they booked were phenomenal. The wedding day looked like a scene out of a movie!I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but I highly suggest that you stay at the Beachview Club Hotel and experience the magic for yourselves!

By far one of the best places we have stayed at! The location is great! We were greeted by Jonesy & Mel, & offered champagne! They were SO welcoming and friendly! They were very informative of the area, provided us a detailed book of the island. We were checked on during our stay by the front staff but also the housekeeping. They were so welcoming and friendly, too!The hotel rooms are nice, and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! We were on the bottom floor and parking was great! Walked out our back door to either the pool or the ocean. There’s tree shaded areas with benches to sit on that’s nice to enjoy, too.I highly recommend and will recommend this place to others!

We stayed here over a recent 3-day holiday weekend and will be back without question! We traveled with two adults and two 50+ lb. pit bull mixes. After check-in, we were greeted with complimentary champagne and head scratches and treats for the pups. The room was clean and had plenty of room for all our things, including our dog crates. We stayed on the ground floor with a patio. There is keycard access through the front and back door, which was great for taking the dogs for walks around the hotel's grassy areas, the nearby paved beach front walking path, beach, and neighborhood sidewalks. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a microwave and mini fridge with complimentary sodas, juices, and bottled waters. The property was well maintained and quiet with a nice firepit area.
