I went back to the store tonight to exchange a dozen of eggs that I purchased on February 24th. I had my receipt for exchange protocol/procedure purposes. The only thing I was trying to do was exchange the eggs for a more fresh dozen of eggs that expire at a later date. I was then told by an employee at this store that they cannot do returns on food items, via the manager. However, my point is, DO NOT BUY MANY FOOD ITEMS FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU THOROUGHLY CHECK ALL EXPIRATION DATES!! The manager at this store does not do her job efficiently in terms of checking the food items in the cooler/freezer section thoroughly. The food items in the cooler/freezer section are not always damaged out of the Family Dollar store system before their expiration dates; meaning that they pretty much will try to sell customers food as is with no discounts, refunds, or potential exchanges, KNOWING THAT THE FOOD ITEMS ARE ABOUT TO EXPIRE SOON. A store ran at this rate and leadership in the long run could lead to a potential loss of money, loss of business, or worse, GET SHUT DOWN ENTIRELY due to concerns about customer health hazards by the FDA.

Oh my gosh! Cluttered aisles abound in this store with little room to walk in places. You get the feeling that either this store is understaffed or the staff don't care. Either way, not a pleasant shopping experience here today. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

The store is always clean when I go in. The staff are also very nice and willing to help when I need it. They have an array of items that are conveniently priced. Overall, I prefer going there, rather than the "other store" next door.

Two times have i bought a gift card here and it didn’t work lost 110 dollars in total and I just wasted 2 hours trying to get it to work and 100 dollars lost knowing well it never will I don’t want to say they didn’t try to help me but they didn’t put much effort at all they tried the code again and that was about it

There's not much in Jeffersonville but a very nice little town. Having a family dollar store helps. Reccomended.
