There’s 3 week old kittens. No teeth. Eyes barely open. I am sobbing. $125 for a kitten that might not survive. Selling them saying they’re 9 weeks old, “just small because they are a fancy breed” This isn’t okay.Not only that, the birds have injuries. The axolotls are unhealthy. The ferrets are unsocialized and bite like they want to take a finger off.They sell “mini pigs”. Which isn’t a thing. They’re just pigs.The snakes are over fed and obese, and they breed spider morphs with neurological conditions. I highly suggest not buying anything from here. Your animal will die. Your animal will not be healthy.The puppies often have parvo, staff is completely not knowledgeable about ANYTHING. Asked about FIV and they didn’t know anything. They don’t know how to take care of animals.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a puppy from The Pet Shoppe for a whopping $500, and it turned out to be a nightmare from the start. Within just 12 hours of bringing the puppy home, it became painfully evident that something was terribly wrong. The poor creature was infested with fleas, covered in filth, and showing signs of serious illness.Rushed to the vet, the grim truth was revealed: the puppy was battling parvovirus along with a cocktail of every imaginable worm infestation. Tapeworms, roundworms – you name it, this puppy had it. The vet bills quickly skyrocketed into the thousands as the puppy fought for her life, receiving round-the-clock IV fluids and a barrage of medications.But what's even more infuriating is that my vet informed me that this isn't an isolated incident. Many other unfortunate souls have brought dogs from this pet shop, only to discover they too were riddled with diseases and parasites. It's clear that these puppies are being kept in deplorable conditions, deprived of food and water, and subjected to unimaginable suffering.In light of this appalling revelation, I urge anyone considering getting a pet to steer clear from this hell hole! Don't be fooled by their flashy storefront or seemingly reasonable prices. The heartbreaking reality is that behind those doors lies a house of horrors for innocent animals. Save yourself the heartache and avoid this place like the plague. Your future furry friend deserves far better than the misery that awaits at the Pet Shop.BTW- The puppy still died despite our best efforts

I was surprised at the selection and variety of animals and fish when I went into the store. They have everything you need, fair prices and Matt was very helpful guiding me into all I needed to get started with my fish tank.

Is a great place to get what ur looking forward for sure Matt was really helpful and knowledgeable with the animals that he has. especially when this was the only place I was able to get my exotic fish looking forward to buying again

We went in looking for a male chinchilla to, hopefully, bond with our existing standard gray male. While they didn't have any males, they DID have a pair of bonded mosaic females that we fell in love with. These girls are extremely healthy and happy. Matt, one of the owners, took the time to explain how to care for them and gave us some pointers on how to recognize some common issues that can arise. We were so pleased with the experience that we are intending on purchasing a male chinchilla from him in the future.

I've gotten 4 gliders from here and they have all been so sweet and easy to bond with .the animals is always well taken care of has water and food at all times and the stuff is very friendly.with.with.bondbomdwith.irecommend

Just got a platinum female sugar glider there on December 31st 2023, I got there and the lady ( no hate to the workers there they are super sweet and dont know any better they are children in need of jobs) I payed 325$ for a “baby sugar glider” just to find out she only seemed small from how skinny she was, they also sold me these yogurt drops for the sugar glider? Yet they gave me a paper saying they can’t eat dairy?….. they had 2 sugar glider tied to a string around they’re necks so they wouldn’t run away!!. The owner and his brother are 2 druggies who do nothing but smoke weed and do crack and drink acid in the office then come out slobbering themselves, smellin like absolute garbage and that’s nothing. I got home and noticed my “perfectly healthy rare sugar glider baby” had diarrhea and wasn’t even eating the right type of food this is ridiculous and need to be stopped all of there animals are just as sick as these owners they only care about the money and not the animals lives ( my sugar gliders now have a vet appointment tomorrow morning) please people dont be like me and impulsively buy a sugar glider here just because it’s cheap you will end up spending more money at the vet or worse end up losing your suggies life. If you are the owner and your reading this please think about the animals lives your workers have already told me your losing money in the store just find another job pleas and let these poor animals be taken care of the proper way- for proper sugar glider care check out “sugar glider diarys” on YouTube and spread awareness of this cruelty for all these poor animals and our pockets

Just got our second sugar glider from Matt and these little creatures are awesome! We got a ringtailed mosaic male about 4 months ago and today we got him an albino female to play with. Hopefully they will become good friends.

Defitely the owner is a rude, rude and extremely rude man. He is a white guy, who has no customer service. Unfortunately he owned another pet store right down the road of this place. We bought 9 quails from there couple weeks ago and it suppose to be 7 female and 2 male. But it came out the other way around. We drove an hour to bring them back and exchange them. He literally said we don’t care and we are not going to exchange. The staff who sold it to you has no longer works here. And he kicked us out and he said go and put a bad review I don’t care, I’m the owner.Do not buy from this store super expensive with no service. The most nastiest guy I have ever seen in my life. I hope I don’t see his ugly face again.

Me and my family love all the critters at The pet shop. I have bought a few and. I'm extremely happy with my reptiles. The owner and people are always nice and friendly. Always has great supplies. For what ever your pet needs. I would definitely recommend The pet shop. Rather your just looking or you wanna go buy. It's a great place to take the kids and buy a small pet. They even have fish. Ask for Matt. He will take his time and talk with you. And he will get you what your pet needs. 5 start rating for this pet shop. It's the best pet shop I've been to in a long time.

Aggressive owner who gets vile at anyone who calls him out for his pets who are unhealthy, too young and overpriced. This man is willing to curse and point fingers at women with small children. No matter who is right or wrong, treat the customers who have spent thousands prior in your establishment some courtesy and respect. Grow up and stop arguing with your customers who share concern regarding your animals!!

My family and I love this pet shop!! We got our daughters rabbit from here, and even some of our birds. I really like how knowledgeable the employees are here, and they make sure to give you all the information and helpful tips you need to keep your new pet happy and healthy. If you are looking for something as simple as a rabbit or something more exotic like a Chameleon this is the place.

Matt and his staff are amazing. They are very attentive to their customers and always stand behind their products. I’ve purchased multiple thing and animals from them. Every time I go in to purchase other items, they are always checking on how the animals are doing that I’ve purchased. We love going there. Go shop with him if you are wanting anything that involves reptiles, birds, gliders & puppies.

We purchased our sugar glider Jasmine from this place a little over 3 weeks ago and she's doing absolutely awesome!!!! The staff was so incredibly helpful and made sure that they answered any question that I had and also made sure that we had all the info we needed to make sure that we were able to successfully bond with her and care for her properly☺️ We're hoping to go back within a week or so and purchase a male sugar glider so that, Jasmine will have a friend to play with and have plenty of company!!☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bought a French bulldog and cane corso from here with papers for a fraction of the price. Came back and bought my son a rabbit! Quality animals and informative staff!!! This place is a true hidden gem! I live over an hour away and will drive here for pet supplies!

Honestly I'm not here to bad mouth The Pet Store but to raise awareness. I've been devastated and heart broken since my baby Chibbi passed away April 2nd 2023. We got Chibbi on March 26th 2023. We only had her for one week. During that week we fell in love with her immensely. Losing Chibbi to Parvovirus was the biggest and saddest impact we've ever experienced. I truly wish The Pet Store can give these young puppies a bit more time with their mothers and not ween them so quickly. I strongly believe Chibbi was only 5 weeks old based on her activity level and awareness. I have raised puppies and she exhibited a 5 week old puppy level activity. The Pet Shop claimed she was 2 months but I've had puppies at 2 months and they are surely aware of their surrounding and more alert. After she passed I did bring it up to The Pet Store. Chris did not hesitate on giving me a refund, which I appreciate but even then if I received a refund of 10x the amount I would prefer having my Chibbi back instead. I really miss her and I've been mourning these past few days. I understand The Pet Store is in the business of selling pets but please I urge you give them more time to grow healthy with their mothers in order to build immunity. No other dog will ever replace Chibbi's spot. I'm processing it day by day.

I have been driving out here for years when it comes to getting pet supplies. Great customer service and and I am always amazed with the variety of animals. Not only do they have the animals all the staff is extremely knowledgeable.

I would give a 0 if at all possible . I bought a pet a while back and it died with in a month I chalked it up to bad luck!!! Then I gave them another shot and bought an emu a couple months ago which I was told was 2-3 weeks old she could barely stand it took her forever to get balance and within one one month she could not walk or even stand!!! I took her back to this place again chalking it up to my luck !!!! The owner at first informed “it’s a done deal I don’t know what to tell you” I said I knew she needed to be put down because she would never be able to walk and I was crying so he actually did offer me a “store credit” which I did not want but since he offered why not take it. So I let him give me a hedgehog which I have raised many and had great luck well the hedgehog was very inactive which is odd that was a week ago she passed last night!!!! They do not get these animals and my heart was shattered I get attached easily !!!!! I beg you if you are looking for a pet DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!
