I've never had a bad experience...its always had a friendly helpful knowledgeable staff...if they don't have something... they even say who might...That's how you know it's a customer targeted business....Which is why I shop here and at Maddow... before going to theBig box stores... I do my best to keep my money in my communityKeeping out the conglomerates ...that destroy mom and pop shops in our communities...

I just happened to be going by and stopped in and ended up purchasing a couple of items larger than I expected. I could have, and expected to handle them myself, but without me asking, a tall slender man came out and helped me with the items and got some tie wire and tied my trunk down. Good customer service, good business ! Thanks

My first time going into this store was perfect. I was recently gifted with a mini pbp, and he was having issues with excessive scratching. The closest vet (40 min away) that would treat him is not currently seeing non emergency patients, so I attempted to try home remedies. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. Great small town feel and it was a pleasure to visit.

Great hardware store. There is always someone there to help even if you are just rigging something together. There prices can be a bit high on some things but it's cheaper than the gas it takes to drive to the home depot. Not to mention that you are supporting a LOCAL small business when you shop here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They definitely went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for and even gave me tips on the best way to plant my seeds. I was impressed with their selection as well. My students and going to have so much fun watching their plants grow!

Went in to buy some bolts and a die to fix my tractor but they didn't have the size die that i needed in an individual size, they only had it in a $120 multipiece set! The owner Dennis Howington let me borrow the die that I needed out of his own personal tool set! Great people and they're always very helpful!

They sell all different feeds (I buy 4 my horses) but, also everything from tools, salt/mineral blocks along w/deer blocks ect. Must go see 2 many items 2 list. Staff and owner very helpful n nice. Prices are very reasonable.

This is a wonderful Hardware/Feed and Supply Store located right in downtown Jefferson in a historic building. They have just about everything you need to complete your do-it-yourself projects at home, commercial sized jobs & feed & items that help you take care of your Critters!! Not to mention various miscellaneous items that you wouldn't find at your normal hardware store. They also have excellent priced propane refills and much more to offer!!

I recently began going to Howington for dog and horse food. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, they even load everything into my car for me which is a big plus with the back issues I have. I won't go anywhere else as long as their doors are open!
