Just saw this and some of the bad reviews….which I totally do NOT understand. So I wanted to leave one myself. I brought my father-in-law’s long haired chihuahua here to be groomed for several years, until my dad passed this past September. Dixie and her employee are both so kind and gentle. I’ve went to several other groomers in Jasper and Ellijay, and would highly recommend Pickens Paws Pet Salon. They always did a great job, in a clean environment, and took the best care of our fur baby. I never had any trouble with appointments and never worried when leaving him in their care.

Dixie and her son are so good with all the dogs they groom. They treat them like family, which is how it should be. I trust them fully with my pup! I have been to several places in Florida & Georgia but never felt a sense of calm with my animal until I met both these wonderful people. The place is extremely clean and smells good when you walk in, not like other places. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants their animal to fell at home. Dixie does great hair cuts and nail trims too! Lol

Dixie did an excellent job on Bentley's first groom here. Salon was clean and smelled nice (unlike his previous groomer). Will definitely be back again.

Dixie was amazing no other groomer or even the vet could cut our Gypsy’s nails because she gets very anxious she got down on her level and I mean on the floor let us sit with her and did a great job on our girl and a much needed nail trim and paws shaved will DEFINATELY will be back recommend them very highly

I started taking my baby girl to Dixie many years ago. She was always so kind to our sweet girl. Our Izzy was always excited to see her. Izzy passed away a couple years ago. I actually felt Dixie felt the loss too. A few years later...we got a new puppy. I, of course, could only think of one groomer to trust with our new puppy. Dixie is so patient with her "puppy ways"! Our Sophie-Bella just loves her. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful lady taking care of our sweet little girl. I recommend her 100%! We just love her, and trust her with our fur baby!

This is the place to go for Golden doodles. She does the best job of anyone we have ever used.

My daughter called this place to have our 10 month old Golden Retriever groomed. The lady on the phone was so rude. She said she already had three Golden Retriever’s to groom that week and that we needed to find someone else. Why have a business of grooming dogs if you aren’t going to except them because of the breed? Maybe it was just to much work, or maybe they just suck completely or lazy and only want to groom a short haired animal. I don’t know but will never call them again nor refer anyone to this groomer. We only called because we heard this was a good place to have dogs groomed. I will now have to disagree with anyone who suggest this place.

Great place! Super friendly staff! Dillon and his mom made my grandmas dog not only look and smell fantastic! They were incredibly nice and personable! Would recommend to anyone!

Went for the first time last week. Took Caden, our 6 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They were so good to Caden and he looked beautiful!Definitely going back.

In response to the owner.. if this job has done all that damage to your body, perhaps it’s time to quit or hire good groomers and you take care of the books. Based on reviews I will not bring a pet there.
