I bought king crab legs from the seafood dept. When I got home I opened the bag. It stunk terribly and the meat was mushy. I immediatly took it back. The assistant manager could smell it was bad even without opening the bag. She refunded my money and said she was giving me extra money back. Funny how it was the amount of tax I paid. I own a restaraunts and if one of my employees put out that kind of garbage they would be terminated and the customer comped on whatever they wanted on the menu.

This is a nice Kroger. It is a full sized kroger with all the normal departments. They also have a pharmacy, and money services here. The store was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly when we checked out and had a good conversation while he scanned our items. The parking lot was easy to get in and out of. A great place to shop for groceries in Blue Ridge.

Staff are fantastic, friendly and eager to assist. I use pharmacy and curbside grocery pickup. Inside, feels a little chaotic, crowded and rushed--just one shopper's impression.

Amazing all the local guides give this store 5 stars..LOL….obviously they have never been to this Kroger.Been going to this Kroger since it opened.I give this Kroger one star when compared to other Kroger stores.Check expiration date on everything you buy and I do mean everything.The pharmacy has terrible customer service, store inventory is always out of stock, and the Starbucks service is at best poor.Kroger continues to reset floor and move items all over the store. You will take 10 minutes looking for an item that was moved. Don’t count on finding a brand name at the last minute….the item will be out of stock.The Starbucks runs out of coffee all the time and you have to wait for them to make it. You will have to give staff detail instructions about adding Half/half and sugar to your coffee. If not….you get a yellow cup of coffee that tastes like pure sugar and milk.Don’t go to this Starbucks if you are pressed for time to get to work….you will be late.The pharmacy…well good luck when you try to fill prescriptions under a Medicare drug plan. Kroger stop accepting many drug plans. They want you to sign up for Kroger’s Medicare drug plan.For the business this store generates, mass improvements are badly needed.

Called customer service to ask if Water machine was working since broken last week. I was so taken aback by the snotty response and tone of voice of the young lady who responded. I would be ok if they can’t check, but by choosing to be rude and telling me I could just come down and look myself cost them my shopping trip and more in the future.

Update;Increasing gas prices from 2.65 to 2.79 on the Friday before Thanksgiving week is dirty, Kroger! Thanks for helping to kill the middle working class.Expensive and never any more than ONE real checkout open.

Went in for some bread and ended up with a cart full of groceries. Some amazing deals going on and the produce and fruit looked great. The employees were friendly and the store was clean. Will definitely be shopping here more often.

I visited this Kroger location in early February and unfortunately had a negative experience. While shopping, my car was hit by a shopping cart, and I have been waiting for Kroger or their insurance company to take responsibility and do something about it. Despite my attempts to reach out to management, I have not received any satisfactory response or resolution. However, I do want to acknowledge that the staff at this Kroger are super friendly and professional. It's clear that they take pride in their work and are committed to providing excellent customer service. It's a shame that the same cannot be said for the management. I'm leaving a one-star review to reflect my experience with the car accident and lack of follow-up, but please note that this is not a reflection of the quality of the staff.

Three stars only for the variety of items, which is really the only reason to stop. Just like most large chain stores they are phasing out cashiers. Options on a Saturday at 1230pm were to wait in one of the two lines or self checkout. We used the self checkout. What I really appreciate as a paying customer is being treated like a potential thief. Before asking the "helpful" attendant scooted over to scan the item under my cart. Didn't ask. Just let me get that for you, as if I wasn't capable of doing so myself. Then after I got done ringing up and bagging my groceries another "helpful" attendant asked if I had rung up the item. I told her yes it was. Don't worry the other person made sure I didn't steal it.Hey Kroger instead of preemptively treating customers like crooks maybe hire some staff and ditch the self checkout.

Seriously don't trust the reviews you read, they really don't care about what's stocked in their store. I took this photo while managers and employees sat around and talked about things happening in the store. No one even pulled this poor produce out. Seriously after my comments I know I made around the employees, nothing happened. Next week when I'm in the store I will take more photos, trust me they don't care about what is appropriate!

Well stocked and well organized. Went in at 8:30PM. The evening staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. Use your Kroger plus card for the best deals.

I went grocery shopping on Mother’s Day checking out on aisle 13 behind other people in line. The cashier waited for me to get all my groceries on the belt before locking down and walking away without saying anything to me. After a while of standing there waiting while her nearby coworkers looked at each other, someone bagging groceries finally came over and rang me up. She eventually walked passed me saying “Well, I’m clocking out.” Never have I been to a Kroger where the cashiers were so rude and unprofessional.

I like the store and the employees, however corporate is slacking on quality while raising prices. Kroger bread is so thin the pb&j just makes the bread mushy. The produce is almost always rotting in just a day or so lately or rather since the middle of Covid.. im no longer receiving coupons in the mailAND I don't even get a discount for shopping and checking myself put as if I'm an employee. I hate today's world sometimes.

If I could give zero stars I would. No communication with the car pick up guests. Have been waiting over hour and half for our pick up order! After checking in multiple times , even talking to supervisor at the 1 hour mark who assured us she would personally pick our order and bring out with in 10 mins failed to do so. After waiting hour and half we are leaving without our groceries( they said they are still picking items) and was never communicated with during this whole process by anyone at the store unless we went inside and kept calling. Short handed or not this is totally unacceptable and it should have been communicated way before this long so we could reschedule or place order elsewhere! I am so upset with this location and we are stillLeaving without our order and communication should be corrected for future guests!

Pharmacy at this Jasper location is horrible. Waited over an hour (quoted time 1 hour or less) for prescriptions that they verified they had to never be notified that anything was ready. I finally went back right before they closed for lunch an hour and 15 min later to be told that they didn't have everything and some would need to be ordered.I had waited in the parking lot in the running car with my dog based on information. Bad information. Now I'm leaving without prescriptions.

Luca held a nice conversation with the guy bagging at the register next to us. Because of this, he was extremely slow bagging my own groceries. When he finally finished bagging, I thanked him, but his conversation didn’t stop to even acknowledge that I’d said anything. The cashier was very nice, though.

I love this store it has a lot of great stuff and good deals too and as far as shopping cart damage too car in the parking lot the store is not responsible for any damage caused by carts it's not their fault people are so stupid they can't put them in the cart return bin so you just have to pay for it yourself and go on .

The men's room is worse than the dirtiest gas station bathroom that you have ever seen. On 11/11/22, we had to bag $380 worth groceries, the cashier wouldn't call for anyone even after I asked twice. Ended up doing it all myself. My wife's electric car had a full charge and just made it to the back of the produce area and had to get another one. The electric cards are poorly maintained. This is the second time she had issues with her cart. Management needs to get on top of this store.

This Kroger has steadily declined with customer service, product quality and availability. I have tried to see if they would turn it around but they haven’t. Feedback seems to fall on deaf ears. And this is for things within their control. They added extra self checkout stations but rarely have the extra ones open, even at 10am. They say they need an associate for each section even though they’re side by side. One person could easily cover both. Most times they’re just standing around or on their phone not paying attention anyway. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

As far as merchandising, it’s no better or worse than any other Kroger. What stands out for this particular store is the customer service, or lack of.Granted, I’m usually in later (7PM - 10PM) so I understand it’s a different workforce, but I’ve never been in when anyone has so much asked if I needed help with anything. Two times two different stockers have said hello. That’s it. More often than not, the employees just walk right past you like you’re not even there. I’m not asking for personalized service, just a friendly smile every now and again. I’ve never seen anything like it.Last night was the last straw for me when I had to ask the young lady bagging my groceries to please not throw my food into the bags after she was literally tossing my stuff into the bags crushing items. Although I was nice about it, she was visibly irritated with me for asking. This is after the last time when the young man bagging also busted open several containers of yogurt by tossing them into the bags.I’m not sure what is happening this this store, if there is no management or new management, but it’s lacking the service fundamentals of any business. I will definitely be directing my shopping elsewhere from now on.

Be sure to ALWAYS check every date on every purchase you make from this Kroger. In the last 2 weeks of trying out this store, I've came home with 3 out of date products.Also, the parking lot is great if you're going for a "suicide by car" thing.Horrible location, and NOT "fresher than fresh"Done with this place!

Their pharmacy staff is lovely! I got my covid19 vaccine yesterday and Tara and her staff were so wonderful to me. It was an easy, streamlined process and Tara's kindness really helped with my anxiety around getting a vaccine (I'm scared of needles). Totally worth the drive to get there! I got there at 9am with a huge line of people waiting and was vaccinated by 9:15! Thank you all so much!!

They are so RUDE!!!!! ESPECIALLY the pharmacy. Which is the only reason I enter the store. The staff is just not courteous at all. They act like they're doing you a favor the whole time. The store is a cluster. It is so cluttered!! They need some manners . And they attract RUDE customers also. The whole aura there is bad. Don't go if you can help it

Chase was awesome. We came in late and had some odd customers before us. Chase handled each of them well even with their weird... jasper questions about having a dollar off. He handled each customer politely and in a timely fashion. He didn't let anything get in the way of being an awesome kroger employee and should be awarded for such.

The last four months Kroger has had horrible service. The Pharmacy will NOT answer the phone and you can not get a prescription refilled! I have life or death medications that I have been out of over a week. I gave them the benefit of a doubt but 4 months? I have had to do without my meds each month for at least a week..sometimes two. Of course I'm taking my business elsewhere. They do not care for it their customers!!
