I travel the state for work and frequent many gun shops, Appalachian Gun is a well run and stocked store, I was greeted up entry and their layout is perfect, wide selection in every department. Sumner spent his time helping me decide on an optic, and another sub compact, as well as recommendations on slings, cleaning gear and ammo. This employee alone had set this store apart from any other I had visited in Georgia. I will gladly return anytime I am in the area.

Great place to come look at a weapon or purchase one. Very friendly people. Very helpful. From the seasons gun owner to the beginner. These people take great care of you.I was able to get some ammo. They had lots of ammo in the stock and an a fair price too. Can't go wrong at Appalachian gun and pawn.

I was a first timer using a gun and had a lot of questions that were taken seriously and answered. They found a great gun that fit well in my hand and we went to the range to try out one like it. I was shown how to load, aim and fire. We had a great time working on this new skill! Thank you.

Really nice place. I love going in there. If i had a million bucks, i would gladly spend it all in that store. As it is, I'll just spend $500-$1000 every once in a while. I'm probably going there again this weekend.

This is a great range. The folks here aren’t your typical ‘range rats’; instead they are very helpful. The range itself is very nice. Modern target control panels that offer the option of 5-25 yards. Pricing for lane time, bullets and targets was much better than anything I saw in the Jasper/Ellijay/Blue Ridge area. On top of that, they have a great staff out front for regular sales. If you’re in North Georgia and need a good range to go to, this is your place!PS - my wife hates going to ranges because of the typical range rats. She loved her experience at Appalachian.

We went there to have a fun morning and a date at the range. There are many different styles you can try to get a feel for what you are interested in purchasing. The store is clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We had a good time and it was a lot of fun.

This is a great gun shop! Staff is helpful. Shop is clean, with a lot different firearms to choose from. I purchased a handgun and very happy with it. Ammo is a good price. Range is very nice with plenty of space. Reason for 3 stars. I was in there recently to shoot and noticed fees on the shooting range really went up!

I called to see if they'd be interested in a gun case that came with multiple clips they said oh yeah bring it in we'll buy it get all the way there with 0 miles in the car and you tell me your not interested you only sell them for 5$ you could've let me know that instead of wasting my time and my gas I will not be doing business with y'all again I've brought multiple people to do business with you and that will definitely not be happening again lying to customers is not how you keep themThere was absolutely no connection problems whatsoever you understood me and I understood you someone answered the phone and obviously didn't know what they was talking about and that wasn't my wife and there's no need to come back in after you said you sell them for 5$ a piece also not worth the gas I just wanted people to know don't bother calling bc the information you'll receive isn't what will happen in person I suggest going to mountain man armory he has nice guns and can order just about anything you want but I appreciate you getting back

My Husband and I went here to learn to shoot my new gun. The Instructor was amazing. Went over everything that we needed to know. He was patient and kind because I was very nervous at first. He explained everything very clearly. We left there feeling extremely comfortable with our gun and how to safely carry/use it. Highly recommend this local business

Purchased my first pistol here. People in the range were as helpful and patient as could be. People in the front were friendly and accommodating. Can't speak on price simply because I don't have any experience to make a comparison to but none the less they made an amazing first time experience.

Appalatian Gun & Pawn is well worth the drive from Peachtree Corners. Chad was very helpful and knowledgeable which made my buying experience so cool that I purchased a second rifle on the spot for plinking. My husband and I bought a pistol, took a class and joined the range. The person helping in the choice of a pistol was very patient, ensuring our first pistol purchase would be good for both of us to use. The class was outstanding! Dr. Carlton Wilson and his co-trainer were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. They made us feel very welcomed. We feel safe and confident after the class, and taking it as a couple increased our mutual comfort. Women are definitely respected and supported here. Cannot wait to get to the range and practice!
