One of few PW in GA that isnt funky. Fresher meats too. Good hot foods (sweet potatoes, and greens) and bakery cakes

Prices are a little higher than the larger chains with less variety, but this store serves its purpose and then some. I've repeatedly hit this store when in a hurry or just too tired to go into a larger store for that item or two that I must have. I can get in and out of this medium-sized, strategically placed grocery store in 5 minutes or less. 5 stars for an exhausted person who doesn't want to go into a large supermarket but needs something only a full grocery store has.

Piggy Wiggly usually has the bags of double stick Banana Popsicles and I do love my Popsycles. Also good selection of veggies, Meats, Lunch Meats, and other groceries that people like. Great store. Paul Eskew

Whatever you do, do not buy meat from this store! I bought three steaks in the same package, only to get home to find all three of them were rotted on the bottom side - it was apparent someone had applied more red dye to the top side of these steaks to make them look more appealing to buy. To make matters worse, after returning to the store and showing the Manager said steaks, she denied anyone put extra dye on them, but could not explain why the outward facing side looked fresh while the meat had clearly gone bad. Putting peoples health at risk just to make a dollar - drive across town to Ingles or the DG Market, it’ll be worth it!

Piggly Wiggly has quality products, but many are overpriced... I found the staff to be less than friendly. The store has some specialty items worth checking out, but I couldn't see myself shopping there on a regular basis.

Whew! Pretty pricey! It was on the way home for work and I had to stop.

Good place to pick up items you can't find elsewhere. People are very friendly. Love the fresh homecooked country food in the deli. Just not happy with the per pound rate of the meals. Can get them a cheaper per pound rate elsewhere in town.

Has maybe nine parking spots and smells kind of dank, nice self checkout though

Everything was good. They serves some good hot food too. It's really good. Prices are really going up. Pretty soon we won't be able afford food, or going out to eat. Restaurants are gonna be part of the inflation also.

It will do if you need the basics "BUT" they don't have alot of the things I buy on the regular at bigger stores. I won't buy meat here because it stinks so bad in my that area of the store. (Coffee, Bread.... ✅)

This store went from 1 star to 5 based solely on the hard work of the man working the meat dept. His cases look like something out of grocery ad. Perfect, fully stocked and presented well. I was in the store yesterday at 11:30 am and was blown away by this man's strong work ethic. I don't know his name but with the ridiculous prices this store charges its customers you can certainly afford to reward this gentleman's hard work with a raise.GOOD JOB SIR!!!!

Having worked here as a teenager I can tell you it was a nightmare. Things seemed to have improved greatly since then and I'm happy to see the store entering into the modern era with regards to appearance, lighting, atmosphere, etc. I don't often shop here, but when I do it is comparable to other grocery stores in the area. Decent prices, aisles are easy to navigate, oh and i can't speak for lunch, but they have killer breakfast if you have time for it. My only gripe is the smell that becomes more apparent as you walk towards the meat area.... I don't even know how to describe the odor. I've spoken to friends about it and we all just sort of acknowledge it as piggy wiggly air. It was present while I worked there, and it has stayed present through all the various remodels. No clue what it is, but if you can look past that, it really is a pretty decent place to do your grocery shopping.

It was togo only at least the day I was there it still was. Food was good but wasn't really sure about serving sizes but there was plenty. Actually to much rice a whole carton with each order. Ended up spending about $10.00 more than we use to spend for carry out by the pound and really only had a box of rice and some extra potato slices. All in all it was good just ended up costing to much.

This place has not changed. I grew up here and remember going here with my granddaddy. In fact the last time I went into this store was when he was alive. I hadnt been in this store since 2010. Store was fully stocked. Lots of 5 for 20. I was able to find liverworth which blew my mind. Cause I have been to so many stores over the years and could not find the brand that was here at piggly wiggly. This was the brand I grew up eating. If u dod find it at stores it was the fancy kind that u had to ask the deli person to cut and it just didnt taste the same. Going here just reminded me of similar and happier times.

I was in a random town (Jackson) I haven't been in for quite a while....asked Google for the nearest grocery store, got NOTHING against a Piggly wiggly 🙂 so. Produce is SKY HIGH and I don't mean in general, I mean this particular only store. As is EVERYTHING else (extremely high). BORDERLINE gouging, if there is such a thing for groceries (there is...) $7 for basic cheese dip, $8 for the smallest Folger coffee ($4-$5 anywhere else) just WRONG.You won't pay less than $1.20 for any can of veggies (tomatoes, corn, anything...) Frozen foods are double what they are at Walmart, Kroger, even Ingles beats their pricing.However....the meats (I wasn't shopping for) were set at a very competitive price....Leading me to believe they're slashing one side and making it up on the other. Just in a very extreme noticable extremely shady and harmful to customers way.On top of that? Went to check out? Self check out ...put a $20 down and was putting the rest on the card. 🤪🤪🤪Broke the machine.Told to try a second one, lady was going to ring it up for me (super sweet girl)...I told her (having pre-buyors remorse already) I didn't want half the stuff. Separated it. Was running late asked to just fix it so I can go?..WENT to go grab pie crusts for my grandmother and I'd be right back...Now keep in mind....machine 1) has my ,$20.....I come back and isntead of putting my stuff aside she rerang it all. AgainBoundaries. No means no. Said no, she finally transferred me to her personal register after that. And all is good. Passed a dollar general market AND an Ingles within five miles. Thanks Google 🙄

A nice little place to get your groceries.

They are still down home and down the street, local people supplying local communities. Being locally owned your money stays in your area. Great variety of Meat, fresh produce and they still ring up your order and bag it to take home. They still have real meat cutters in the stores and well trained staff to help you any time you need them. Stop by soon.

If I could give it a negative 5, I would! Way over priced it take's advantage of the town it is in! I only go there if I'm in a hurry. The only good thing about the place is the employee's, they are friendly, know there stuff and always willing to help. I mean really 10 to 11 bucks for a bag of leg quarter's. And DO NOT buy the MILK!!!

When you smell the meat in the back of the store at the front door as you enter the store, you know your shopping experience is not going to go well. Also, prices much higher than any other store around. For instance bananas are 0.59 a pound everywhere while they are 0.79 a pound at Piggly Wiggly.

Since they've installed self checkout lines they no longer have cashiers on staff. When you work all day and have $150 in groceries and still have work to do when you get home plus make dinner you really dont want to spend an extra 30 minutes at the self checkout. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Maybe I'm just mostly biased to Kroger but I've heard people raving about the 5 for $21 meat since we moved to Jackson from Covington almost 2 months ago but their meat is awful. It's stupid greasy and almost tastes spoiled. Items are way over priced there's nothing healthy to eat there. I love some junk food as much as the next person but I don't want to eat it consistently. Think I'll just keep shopping in town after work.

Quite clean compared to most smaller chains and even many of the larger stores I have been in. Also much better stocked, the prices are of course a bit higher than your average Wal-Mart on some things however I wouldn't seem that as a con as it is much more convenient by far. They do appear to be cheaper than ingles as well.

It's ok for a quick stop. Small local store, not a large selection and really high prices.
