Well, I was installing an ice auger motor on a drive thru fountain. The new motor for whatever reason, did not come with the four mounting screws. One of the employees helped me find the perfect size screws for it. He was very helpful (wish I knew his name). Ace Jackson, GA is on point!

The boys working here couldn't be better. Well, except for bart hes a bit slow, but always does his best to help someone even if he has to consult with someone who knows more.I rely on these fellows every day at my construction job and they don't always have the specialties we need. However, they are always prompt with ordering and passing it off to us when it comes in. Lumber usually looks better than what is received from other places in town, so much so that we don't bother messing with any other suppliers anymore.

Employees are always right there to assist you with anything. Hometown Service at it's best. They don't have everything but I always try here first because it is close and the employees know different ways to make things work and will help you however they can.

I made a couple visits in the past. It was a pleasant experience. Recently I've chosen too give Ace most of my business. I've gotten too know Wes...since I've been doing business with him I rate Ace with 5 stars. If you want a professional honest pleasant experience I highly recommend Ace. Ask for Wes. Very poor customer service . First off I've shopped at this location many times since moving to Jackson and have pretty much accepted the fact that this is pretty much the worst all around Ace that I have ever visited but today just tops it all. Knowing they close at 3pm on Saturday I drive over the speed limit to get there at 2:58 only to see the worker lock the door as I'm walking up. I then knock and call at 2:59pm on the phone. I get an answer at exactly 3pm and am told that they will be closing in just a few minutes, so I respond with well unlock the door and let me in please. The young lady says please hold and places me on hold long enough to have someone shut off the lights and then comes back on and says sorry sir but we are closed. I then sat in the parking lot and watched as every worker in the store exits at 3:03pm. Now being in retail for 20+ years I know that there is absolutely no way that you can shut down your P.O.S system, count your monies, write out your deposits and get everyone clocked out all within 3 minutes. This tells me that they started the closing process well before 3pm. Now I promise that I will NOT make the mistake of ever giving my business to this place again.

Customer service was good. Paint and paint supplies were good in selection and okay in price. Lumber I bought was poor quality. Perhaps you can buy good lumber here, but carefully check each piece.

I've been in here quite a few times. You can't really tell who all works here because they don't wear any sort of uniforms or name tags, but all of the staff are very nice and helpful.

I really like to shop local and help support a business who's the owner lives in our town I shop at Ace Hardware as much as possible but their prices are ridiculously high there are times where I'll go to Home Depot 20 miles away rather than shop there

Didn't even know that this place was called Jones Hometown Hardware until Google Maps asked me about my visit !They don't spend much on eye appeal, but usually has what I need !!Their prices are just a tad high, but MUCH better than driving 20 miles !!!I got a deal on this screwdriver...:-)
