Not staffed with enough staff to manage the store! More often then not no one present to checkout customers. You most likely will have a wait line at self checkout! Erratic stocked shelves! Sometimes empty shelves sometimes full. Sometimes topNitch caring employees sometimes not! Sometimes can find help sometimes not! The outside parking area usually trashed. Concrete busted. Sign lights busted. Landscaping non existent. Just dirt! I’m assuming owners do not care??? New competition coming right up the road soon! Most likely this store will not survive! Sad it was nice it was here as all the area had! Sad that whoever owns it let it get so bad

Absolutely terrible. There is never anyone at the cash register. The workers have a terrible attitude always and are not helpful. I rather drive out of my way than have to deal with these people anymore!

Well I was just in there and my bank card didn't work so I had to go to my car to count change and the cashier came out smiling and told me that someone had paid for my items which is the sweetest thing ever. I literally didn't even know how to react. The guy showed kindness without reservation without reason and I got tears in my eyes leaving this review. I never knew a little gesture could impact me so much. I don't know what to say I wish I could have told the person thank you but she was told not to tell me so if by chance you happen to read this post thank you, you don't know what it meant to me. Your act of kindness restored my faith in people you're awesome thank you.

These poor BEAUTIFUL LADIES AND GENTLEMAN sure work there butts off!!! If you need something and don't know where it is they will quit what there doing and will go ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN JUST A COUPLE A YEARS AGO!!! AWESOME JOB!!!

The staff seem to be nice, and it was as clean as it could be when it's out in the middle of nowhere, if nowhere is covered in weeds and kudzu. Some of the other customers, however, were rude and ridiculous. I wouldn't sit in the car in their parking lot without the doors being locked. I won't be returning.

This is the only Dollar General location around my area of Transit, that is always clean, shelves always stopped, and service is always friendly, it has become the absolute only Dollar General I go to! Occasionally depending upon my work schedule, I will have to pass a Dollar General and a Family Dollar, to get to this location, but I'll do it every time! Every once in awhile the only downfall, is whoever mows their grass, does not pick up wind-blown trash they just mow over it :-( and around the dumpster area could be cleaned, but as far as the store and the people it's all hands down five star!

God awful smell!! Found put out cigarettes on shelves. As soon as you walk into that store you immediately feel disgusting! Public health needs to investigate, or Dollar general needs to shut that store down. I love dollar generals and think they're great stores, but this one is a huge disappointment.

The only good thing i can say about this store is it's the closest, go here only if you don't want to drive all the way to Forsyth for staples. They are consistently un-stocked, under-staffed, and the aisle with drinks is blocked every time with freight but not the items that are missing!! Staff is occasionally okay but most of the time they're rude and one or two are smoking right outside the door constantly even when there's no one to ring you up or assist you in store. Go here only as a last resort.

This one Dollar General is never stocked and you can't move around in the store cause there is things in the way. It's the only store in this area unless you want to drive into town. Some of the ppl that work there isn't friendly at all. I have never been to a store that don't keep there things stock you be better off going into town to get what you need.

Store is not stocked!!! And I've never smelled something so bad before in my life!! They need to be inspected how in the hell are you open when the entire store smells like death... I mean use some of the air fresheners or something... but they are in there working like nothing is wrong!!! This is a nasty nasty store it needs to be closed down...

Store is always dirty. Some aisles you can't even get down because of staff leaving carts of merchandise in the aisle. I know they have to stock the shelves, but I would think they wouldn't bring it all out at one time. Just bring out what they are immediately stocking. Some things are more expensive hete too, like milk. It costs more than the grocery store. It's the closest store to our home, but we only go if it's something we have to have right then and don't want to go all the way to town.

Air conditioning not sufficient, however, cooling the store properly would not have helped the horrendous stench emitting from inside the store. A raw sewage, sulfur well water or rotten egg smell would come close to describing the smell. Aisles cluttered and blocked with items to be stocked. Akin to running a maze from back of store to cashier. However, the one employee I encountered, who was my cashier, was a lovely person. Since it is not possible to put zero stars, the one star I rated was for her as she was the only star in my otherwise disappointing.visit. I don't blame the employees for the condition of this store...it just appears to me, that Dollar General, as a company, needs to hire and schedule more employees per shift. Perhaps with more man/woman power the aisles would be easier to navigate.

They need help. The manager is very rude. A lady in line behind me apparently knows the manager. Ask her how are you liking your job. The manger drowned up with a really ugly face and said, "I hate this place, the company and the people in this store are lazy. I hate being here. Iv been in the store x2 in the passed couple days and shes eather in the office when and employee has called for help or outside smoking. The employee had to go get them because she has failed to respond to their call. Just saying. Her opinion is just that, but dont be expressing it out where your guest can hear it. You ask. I give 3 stars because of the lack of help and the store is always cluttered. Clothing merchandise always all over the floor ppl having to step on it or over it. Cant get to the candy isle because of stock that needs to be put on shelves in the way. Empty shelves. You need a stock crew that just goes around stocking stores. 5 stores to a crew.

This dollar general needs to be bulldozed and replaced. The smell of bug spray and rot is overwhelming. I'm usually not negative about places, but this place is horrible, I feel like I've breathed in an almost lethal dose of bug spray.... Through my mask!

Store is all alone in this location right out side High Falls State park. Has all the staples you may need at fair prices. There is a small store just west that has more food selection at inflated prices, but there is a fair selection of toiletries and general drug store supplies.

Great store has most all items to restock supplies for home , Convenient right here in community pick up ,milk bread snacks coffee and frozen items : pizza, ice cream ,after school snacks. Very friendly staff ,all around great shopping experience !

Great deals, awesome sales and clearance. But, every time I've been in there (I live 2 minutes from it, so I'm in there often), it's nearly impossible to navigate the store because of all the stock carts everywhere.

Dollar General is conveniently located and priced with a variety of survival goods like foods, clothing, cleaning supplies, etc. Keeping up with the times and seasons, it's a great quick one stop shop...

There is always issues at this store. Either not enough employees or they only take cash. They never tell you these things until you get to the register. Why is there always only 1 employee in the store??? This store needs to close its doors.

Today must of been stock day except everything was on carts all up in the isles on just about every isle. Just made difficult for more than 1 person at a time to move.

This place is a dump!!!! Stock sitting in the isles, usually only one cashier at peek times, shelves seldom stocked if ever!!!! Consider yourself lucky if you find what you need!!!! Really!!! Don't waste your time!!!

I am at a loss for words, this used to be the best one around, but now it is terrible. Not the people working, but management,they need to hire more people. They need stockers that aren't cashiers. The store is HORRIBLE!! Love the people but HATE the store now.

My wife and I were camping at High Falls State Park and had zero TV reception during day light hours. We went to DG to see if we could find a movie to watch. One of the ladies working that day went way above and beyond to help us locate one. For some odd reason this DG has DVDs in several different locations. She(the employee) showed us all of them. I wish I had gotten her name so I could praise her service to DG corporate. Highly recommend.
