Just left the store. The woman working the register is obviously mad about something. She didn’t bag my milk and watched me do it and then when I told her she got the wrong cigarettes, she huffed and got the correct ones and then threw her keys on the counter. She never spoke to me or the customer in front of me. I go here often and this is the first time I’ve been treated so rudely. I was still nice to her and thanked her. To which, she said nothing!

I really like Dollar General Stores how ever they are all different. I feel that there needs to be a stronger uper management placed over these stores to assure they are clean, well stocked, organized and kept that way. There is a couple of stores in my area that look like a junk sale store from the twilight zone. Very dirty un- organized store that has empty shelves half the time. And we have a Dollar General Warehouse in our town how sad is that. 😞

If I could give this store a 0 review I would I am completely appalled at my experience. I shop at dollar general daily if not multiple times a day, so much so that when I was coming through Jackson Georgia I chose to shop here instead of Walmart. I came into the store and immediately the cashier asked for my purse. I was confused but offered to let her see inside even though I Hadn’t started shopping yet. As I handed her my purse she proceeds to take it and put it on the floor. I then asked for my purse and took it back to my vehicle. Clearly this person has no morals for values as she put an almost $80 purse on THE FLOOR . Another customer walked in directly behind me with a larger purse than mine but she said nothing to them. I asked the cashier why she only said something to me and she said because my purse was “ empty “ my makeup bag , identification and travel bag was inside of my purse. As well as my feminine items she had NO way of knowing what was in my purse and no right to ask for my personal items. If she had said you can take your purse but I would like to see what’s in it before you leave even though I think that is still unprofessional I would have hands down allowed her. I am not a thief i have never been in any trouble with the law ever and I am a student at Austin Pea State University for criminal psychology. She literally profiled me as soon as I walked in the door. I have NEVER went into a store and had this happen. And I am from Nashville Tennessee!! I have contacted corporate and this is the first time I have EVER filed a complaint on a business. Until this issue is resolved I will not be shopping here. I feel like that was very personal and not the proper way to handle the situation. I proceeded to tell her if she says one customer cannot come in with a purse then no customers should be able too. I am aware that a professional business does not operate this way. I hope the district manager takes this into his hands because as a customer I should not feel violated. I went in with the intentions on spending almost $150 - $175 for party items and gifts ( wrapping paper and clothes ) for my nephews birthday but upon receiving what I consider the most unprofessional service I decided to go to the dollar general down the road. I asked for the managers name and she smiled big and laughed saying “ tAY “ in a very aggressive sarcastic manner. The fact that she is a manager is insane. I will be following up with corporate as well as the district manager.

Changed my rating because the items in the store are never easily accessible due to stock carts on the floor all the time and they never seem to have what I need at this location. Poor ordering

I had a really great experience in that store, the cashier she was very pretty, very nice and helpful and showed me the utmost respect and showed some great hospitality as well, I didn't get her name but she's really short, slim and petite with long brown hair, brown eyes and wore glasses

Great staff there no one wants to work there anymore because the place was robbed a couple weeks back I feel if they had some security in the parking lot that they would feel more comfortable it's sad when you worried about your safety at work but overall the staff is great

It's conveniently located close to everything. The prices are OK. Store is usually clean and organized. The staff are friendly. But the management team needs to work on their customer service skills.

I was there on business, replacing the pinpads. Very nice people in the store and though the installation took way longer than expected, the associates were patient and understanding.

The young lady was very helpful and she was making sure that I got in the store. It was raining and she came an open the door. Need to hire more young ladies like her. I am handicap.

Store is good, Employees are nice, But they are in serious need of Parking Lot Repair especially around Handicap Parking.

I like that this particular Dollar General is larger and carries more products than the regular Dollar Generals, but the prices are a little higher and the shelves are never stocked properly.

Never have anything in stock. Clearance items just thrown in middle of aisle. Dirty looking. I'll drive 5 more minutes to go to the dollar general market
