I can not believe what my family and I have just experienced at this motel! I stay here with my 2 children and my husband for 4 nights .. originally our stay was 5 nights but was cut short due to the motel staff got upset with me for making 4 waffles. I explained that I was preparing the waffles for my family who were sleeping. The woman at the desk screamed at me telling me that I could not do so. She also said that she did not like the fact that we have so many things in the motel room. Not sure what that had to do with breakfast. I explained to her that we have our clothes in the room because my children are still attending school and we are using the motel until our home is ready. She walked to the back office and returned with another man who appeared to the manager or the owner. He came right at me telling me that I could not take any food to my room. I went back to tell my husband that they are not allowing me to bring breakfast, he went to the office and inquired about the situation. The man was very rude and threatened to call the police on us. He mentioned that we had too many things in our room, I reassured him that I will leave the motel room just as clean as I received it as I have been a housekeeper for 2 years and I understand how demanding the work is. The police were called on us and they made us leave as if we were causing problems when we were not. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. To anyone that may have children or babies please stay somewhere else. The lack of common decency and empathy that we experienced is so hurtful. Then he tells me he will refund my money only to later tell me that I have to contact a third party agency to get my money back.

What you see is what you get. The rooms did not look or smell clean. Days inn really need to upgrade. The AC looked old and rusted. There were stains on the chair. I asked for a new set of pillow cases and sheets.Rooms: It needs a serious upgrade

Room was descent. It was cold so I turned on auto heater and went to bed. I was freezing throughout the night. Went to check heater and was not blowing hot air.Advised front desk. He argued with me it was a new unit. Came back and said all I had to do was reset it. Really dude . Instead of saying sir I apologize for your inconvenience etc. it's my fault.U cannot get an Uber out here fyi

My room was clean but it smelled like cigarettes as soon as I walked through the door. The room said it was a non-smoking room so I called the front desk, he said they recently changed the smoking policy to non-smoking so it's probably just lingering. The housekeepers are loud, hood, ratchet, and petty. They don't care if you're trying to rest or not. I'm a truck driver. I only booked here because I was sick and wanted to rest. I'll never stay at this hotel again and I'll make sure to consider reviews before booking another hotel room.

Well my truck broke down and it would be a couple of days or more before it was fixed, so the shop recommend this motel. I looked at the reviews and choose it because there where NO Rports Of Bed Bugs. ( believe what most of the reviews are saying about this motel ) because I'm saying almost the same thing. This room has a smell that I just can't describe ( it's not a bad odor, it's a bad smell ). It makes it hard to breathe. The tub didn't look clean, I think it was just an old tub, there was plenty of hot water which i enjoyed, floors felt sticky when walking on them, I asked the house keeper to change my lining she said no they will change them on the second day of my stay, which is understandable but she should have done it just because I'm a paying customer and I asked her nicely. My bed was very comfortable but their lining needs to be replaced it's old and no longer white with that fresh crisp feel. Staff not very friendly. Would I stay there again NO .....

Friendly staff clean rooms plenty of supplies towels washcloths. But too damned expensive. They do not mop the floors. My socks were black on the bottom after a few hours of being in the room yes they cleaned the tables nightstands sinks showers nicely but they never clean the floor and there is no carpeting which is fine. But you have to clean the floor and they never did and they are too damned expensive. 90 something dollars a night and no swimming pool because it's outdoors and it's winter. You would think they would lower the price but they did not and that was trucker rate. I'd hate to see what the old people's rate is probably the same if not more. If you want to get a room here go through those online sites to try and get it cheaper. Oh wait a minute I did that and guess what I got the regular price. It doesn't work here go up the road a few more miles and you will get better deals.

This Days Inn was so bad that we instead ended up sleeping in our truck. We were willing to tolerate the smelly room and the stained towels. We could strip the grimy, cigarette-burned bedspread and sheets and use our own. We even could look past the fruit flies—as they are common in many other places (especially restaurants). All things considered, we were happy they were pet friendly and you couldn’t beat the price…Until we spotted the roaches! After we saw the second GIANT roach crawl across the table we had just ate from, we decided to gather our belongings, grab the dog… and abort that roach box!I will say this:The service representative Louis was very friendly and helpful. Louis even let us view the room before our purchase (I guess to give us a chance to spot a roach and decide against it). Too bad they were hiding during our initial walkthrough. All the same, Louis was very outgoing and charismatic. This motel is lucky to have him as an employee!

The hotel is going through renovations. Room was clean no stains on the sheets. We stayed in room 102 the only issue was the refrigerator was it had some bubbling of the finish on the bottom of it. I did notice new refrigerators in the lobby. The other issue I had was the bathroom in the lobby was out of order thank goodness they got me checked in fast so I could go to my room and use the bathroom.

This place is rough. I'm no stranger to booking seedy hotels for a quick stopover while traveling. This place is was extreme. Dirty, smelly and noisy. Staff was very rude. Safety was a big issue. Lots of shady things going on from room to room. I don't scare easily and this place had me on edge. You have been warned. Spend a few extra bucks and move on.

Absolutely terrible do not recommend staying here this place is so bad as you can see the pictures that I posted I'm about average height maybe 5"5 maybe 5"6 and I have to bend down to get into the shower the pictures that are on their website looks NOTHING like the rooms. We booked the room with the jet tub as you can see we did not get that room. When we asked about the room at the front seat the guy didn't speak English but said there were renovations .. the doors had holes in them the bathtub was cracked and sticky on the sides the floor to the shower felt like sand, the pool was closed, the beds were horrible horrible it was like sleeping on a board actual 2 by 4 wood!! The pillows were all flat with no stuffing in them at all. The grounds were just horrible nothing like the picture! Definitely not Wyndham standards!

What concerned me as a father and husband was safety first! I will get to this, so bear with me.I wish I could select zero stars. We actually booked 2 nights, not refundable rate, and decided to leave within 8 hours of getting there. Let’s put aside the nasty, dirty, smelly, and sheer gross this place this. The “hardwood “ floor, which I know was some kind of floating floor, or LVT, or something, was sponge like. Several areas filled in with some kind of goop and reeked of mold/mildew.This is where the safety of a man’s family comes in. The mildewed/moldy floor set my daughter’s asthma off big time, she struggled to breathe for hours. As my wife and I were swapping out working on her, I caught this funny crackling sounds. Upon looking for this sound, I found it at the bedside lamp. Which had been crudely put back together with boxing tape, which is clear and very unnoticeable. The crackling sounds was the electric inside the lamp shorting out!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I want to sleep next to a known fire happening. When I couldn’t take hearing another crackling of that electric, with my wife and kids asleep next to me. I woke everyone up and we left.We complained upon leaving, but typical pass the buck/blame type attitude of today. Well you booked through Hotels.com so you will just have to contact them. As if they have anything to do with how this place runs.I almost forgot, when we left, there were police cars sitting at idle watching the hotel and parking lot. There are only a few reasons why police would be sitting and watching a hotel!

Thanks for the truck parking. Can you help the nice lady at the desk get a transmission service on her car? It's just a filter, fluid, and seal with labor. If I come back and she's not here man I'm going to be disappointed you didn't take care of the people who bring in the $$. Grocery store next door is excellent and the hotel has a refrigerator with microwave.

Clean room. But no heat. I woke up freezing at 3 am and was brought a small space heater. Why put me in a room knowing the heat doesn’t work. Woke up this morning to shower and the water doesn’t work. Second and last time staying.

Extremely satisfied with our stay. The non-smoking room was an actual non-smoking room. Very clean, smelled cleaned. Bedspread clean. Bed very comfortable, pillows nice and fluffy. Over all the entire place was neat and clean including ice room, lobby, stairs, landscape. Felt comfortable enough with cleanness to walk around barefooted on carpet. Nicely maintained site. Everyone has been very accommodating and polite. Would recommend this place for families.

Not bad for the price. I have been here several times and never have an issue.Update 2022: I haven't stayed here for a few months but was in a position to, again (there are only two options in Jackson). To my surprise, the price had increased TREMENDOUSLY. I had been paying, no more than, $70 per night ...... This time was $94 a night (I just paid that for a room at the Airport Regency which was extremely nice, felt much safer, and was upgraded). I would be willing to pay even more for a different hotel, in a different area. What you get here is not worth that amount. Nothing has changed to warrant such an increase; bedding is the same, flooring is the same, no upgrades to the rooms or bathrooms, the appliances are the ones from I was seeing a year ago or more. I will be finding another option, in the future, even if further away or more expensive; I just want my money's worth. Not able to get it at this hotel.

I cannot say enough about this place. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond to any issues. Continental breakfast includes a Belgian waffle maker so you can have a fresh breakfast each morning. The rooms have more pillows on the bed than I have ever seen in any hotel. Rated 5 stars because out of the cheap places to stay this place does my far-out does its competitors in this class, with rooms that smell as fresh as the price.

About as non-family oriented as they come! We were there for a wedding 3/18-3/20 and to say I am upset with our decision of where we stayed is an understatement! All 3 families that came to stay there this weekend had children and they pretty much weren’t allowed to do anything. I am not naive that kids can be a little much and would definitely agree with people if I saw or heard my kids acting a fool. We were on pins and needles all weekend from laughing too loud at 5pm on a Saturday to throwing football being a liability in the back end parking lot that was empty. We even made jokes with other people staying there asking if they had gotten in trouble yet which they answered yes!!! Unbelievable and unless you are trying to get a feel for a retirement home that is nasty as hell….DO NOT GO HERE!!!Also bring black socks and wear at all times otherwise the bottom of your feet will be stained for days! Floors were awful!

With Covid-19, you would think the rooms would be clean. They were not. The floors left black stains on our feet and socks. Had to use wipes to clean our feet before putting on shoes after a shower! The wood floor tile was exposing the ground under it. Toilet still had body waist on the seat. Hair was in the corners of the bathroom floor and dirt. It was not just from one time, it was a build up!It really saddened me. This was a special trip that I have saved up for to take my kids on. It is the only hotel/motel in the town, so we had no choice but to stay.

First, dont settle for a Hotel off the interstate, this Days Inn was fair priced with online quotes being correct and second, always read current reviews for hotels. It's a average hotel that's worth the room price. The staff were friendly with no attitudes and quick to service, two staff were at front desk 24 hrs so no waiting for the elusive worker to show up during late hours. The room was average and comparable to most hotels, bathroom could use some TLC but wasn't gross or in disrepair, just needs some makeup to hide its age.Hotel was very quiet with easy access to a gas station across the street.Breakfast is average, only wish there was a meat product. Will use this hotel again in the future.

Wanted a break from Miami and decided to check out this area of Georgia. The year before, we had stopped by the Buckner Family Restaurant as we had found rave reviews about their peach cobbler (Wasn't lying there) People were so nice and the peach cobbler so good we decided to stay there for a few days this year just to laze about and enjoy ourselves. We stayed here and were more than satisfied with the experience. I have a service dog and there was no problem with him. Staff was very nice and very polite. Rooms were a little musty but it rained the entire time we were there so it may have been a reaction to the damp. Carpets needed shampooing badly. Wear a pair of slippers or socks in the room while walking around, clean otherwise. Central location with easy access to restaurants, local sites, and I-75. Overall while it could have been better, we were price conscious and it was a good deal for what we paid.

If you are staying in Jackson, this is the only hotel to consider. NEVER STAY AT THE PLANTATION INN! I left a review for them that explains. The Days Inn has been remodeling rooms, and they’re doing a fantastic job. We stayed in a suite with a king bed and fold out couch. We had to exit the Plantation Inn on bad terms and got one of the last rooms available. The bed and pillows where so comfortable. The room was clean. The decor was nice. The breakfast has a waffle maker now: Fresh apples and bananas, oatmeal with toppings, cereal, coffee, orange juice, yogurt… It’s not a huge breakfast, but all the staples are covered. There’s no elevator, so be prepared to carry bags or call and specify a 1st floor room if you can’t do stairs. If this hotel is all booked up when you need to stay in Jackson, stay in a neighboring town and drive. Don’t go to the Plantation Inn. Stay here only. This should be the only hotel you consider in Jackson. It’s also very close to our favorite restaurant in town, the Mesquite Bar and Grill. So we’ll be here next year or camping. We won’t be at the Plantation Inn.

It is located where everything is close. Nice location. Their room is kinda old. I found 2 spiders in the tub on the first night. The room smells like cigarette which made me and my husbands head hurts. We were staying with two small kids 1 and 3. The kids feet were so dirty being barefooted in the room so make sure to bring slippers or do not remove your shoes because their carpet is so dirty. I think they only vaccum it.Over all experience was okay. We will still consider staying again in the future but i will make sure to bring flipflops esp for kids😄
