Why is this place open if nobody knows how to do their job? I go get my grandmother's medicine. They couldn't look it up and find it but the girl was nice and polite. I get to my grandparents house and cvs calls us to let us know they gave us a medicine she is allergic to! There is a note in the computer of it. Ok so I go back. The girl at the window this time was rude and unprofessional! Told me she couldn't do the refund I need to wait. So she doesn't know how to do her job either. Then come back and told me I needed to move out the drive thru because they where getting a line. So I need to come inside and be around sick ppl? I can't safely sir in the thru because you can't do your job?? It's always always something with this place these girls are more worried about throwing attitude than the caring job they should be proud of this place is a joke!

Worst Pharmacy the one guy pharmacist is utterly rude and unable to work with. Also, the pharmacy is the hardest place to get in touch with they do not pick up the phone. You will be on hold for 10 to 20 minutes.

If zero stars was an option, that’s all they would have here. The pharmacy itself is ridiculous. Staff is beyond slow, drive thru & inside is insane. I’ve waited in line for over 30 minutes to pick up prepaid prescriptions and watched them shut down for lunch with a line around the building only to tell you to come back later. So yet another wait closer to 45 minutes. In addition, the drive thru which should be “quick option” and for drop off/pick up only will have the same customer sitting at the window for 20 minutes or longer on any given day. Ordering online for pickup in store is also a nightmare and have been told on numerous occasions they can’t find the order.

If zero stars were an option I would leave that. For 2 days I have been waiting on my daughters antibiotics for a severe ear infection. Monday the doctor sent it over along with some meds for my other daughter. My other daughter got hers but they said they didn't have the antibiotics. Ok so I went back to the doctor and got a paper prescription and turned it in at the pharmacy at 930 am today. Tell me why they don't have it. I HANDED THE PRESCRIPTION TO SOMEONE IN THE DAMN PHARMACY. Make it make sense. I won't be using cvs anymore. My child has a SEVERE ear infection that is only going to get worse. Maybe if you guys would answer the damn phone.

I wish I could give half a star, always seem to close a couple minutes early but can’t manage to open a couple minutes early. Late, rather. Terrible customer service half the time as well, however on occasion, there is one lady who is sweet. Wish I knew her name.

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE! My mother was mortified at Lowe's when she went to check out with a gift card with nothing on it that I purchased from this store. I took the card and the receipt (I found it!), a screenshot of the bank acct withdrawing to the cvs store manager. She didn't care to see any of it, said there was nothing I could do.SO CVS JUST GETS THE $75? or the cashier?

The actual store part is not bad... a little pricey but ok. The pharmacy on the other hand is H O R R I B L E!!! Do not trust anything they tell you when it comes to ordering meds. I used to get my child's medication there but every month it was a huge ordeal. The last straw was when I went to pick it up they told me they didn't have it but would have it in the morning. Long story short my son went without his meds for a week and a half. I now pay more to get his meds at a different pharmacy just to not have to deal with CVS

I've held off rating this place for a while due to the merging of pharmacies in town. However, every time we call to refill a prescription we end up on hold for over an hour. It is completely unreasonable to ignore calls for that long every single time we call in.We have no other choice but to switch pharmacies because we can't continue wasting hours and hours on hold. Especially when the "automated system" doesn't even work.No disrespect to the employees who work there. I know they are trying their best, but the owner has known about the pharmacy merger long enough to hire new employees to adequately handle the work load.

Mrs. Beverly is AMAZING. She will work with you! She will try to get the best price and if you are running a few minutes behind she will stay if she can... thank you mrs. Beverly

First time filling a prescription here today and not sure we'll be back or not. I understand they are very busy but the customer service is HORRIBLE. They make you feel as if you are a burden and are incredibly rude. They happened to catch me on a good day or else I probably would have said something to them. The only positive was that we received the prescription in about 20-25 minutes.

We were told on Saturday at 5:52pm at the drive thru that they are 2 weeks behind and closing in 8 minutes. I told her that I hope that your customers don't get sick while you're 2 weeks behind. Why would you say that to a customer? Perhaps poor training...The computer told us that our prescriptions were ready which was not true. So basically I interpreted what the clerk said in addition to the overwhelmed look on her face as I don't care whether you get your medicine or not today. Then Monday I called so that I would not waste a trip and ended up on hold on the phone an hour and a half and no one in Pharmacy picked up. So I called the Corporate office and apparently she couldn't get thru either after I held on the phone with her 26 minutes. I simply hung up the phone and transferred my prescription to a company that cares. My prescription was filled within minutes of opening up a new account. I don't need that unhealthy stress that's going on at CVS in my life. Prescriptions are important to people and if CVS can't get it together, then close your doors and let a company who cares take your spot and rehire the clerks at CVS that do care and understand how important customers and prescriptions are. We will miss the clerks that did care and good luck CVS!3 months ago...This location is so slow. The employees act like they are lost. Always have to go see if they can find prescriptions called in 3 days in advance. Keep asking you to come back or drive back around the building when you have already waited 35 minutes in line. The parking lot and building is long overdue for repairs. I have been looking at all those cobwebs, trash in the parking lot, faded building, roof leak stains in the "Pharmacy" area and that broken gutter for over 2 years now. Management please clean up and upgrade the property it's long overdue.

I know people will continue to come at this cvs but my strong opinion is I don’t like this place for many reasons. They want to blame doctors offices for not sending in prescriptions when for a fact they have. Then making excuses that they’re short staff and won’t be able to have my daughters prescriptions ready until next date. That’s not my problem. They need to be on time, with making petty excuses, and have prescriptions ready on time. Can’t deal with pettiness and laziness. I depend on them getting prescriptions ready on time for my family’s health and depending on them isn’t working because I need medicine to cure my families health and I can’t get medicine from these pharmacists that don't do their job correctly and proficient.

Worst pharmacy ever. Take your business anywhere else. Any other town or pharmacy is worth the drive.

I am DONE with the Jackson CVS. You never can speak to a pharmacy employee, stay on hold for hours and spend 15-30 minutes in line for drive through. After YEARS of being a loyal customer I moved my Rxs to another pharmacy this morning. I got to speak to a pharmacy employee and my Rx was ready to pick up in an hour. CVS message this morning said my Rx would be ready next Saturday at 5:50 PM.

The store/pharmacy management and staff is extremely friendly. The pharmacy as a business has horrible customer service. My prescriptions are never filled on time. By on time, I mean I give them several days and I am told that my "medicine is not ready yet and I will have to drive around and come in or come back." The store is severely understaffed and I feel bad for the employees who work their tails off to put up with a lot of unhappy customers. This is not a local store problem this is an across the board problem with upper management. CVS should have never bought out the "mom and pop" stores if they could not handle all the traffic. This transition has been a year plus and the volume per employee is just too much.

I would give this place zero stars if that was an option. As a patient, I have changed pharmacies because I have never witnessed such incompetence. As a nurse, I cringe when someone needs their meds called in there because I know it will be at least three days and five phone calls to get it right. And oh, the excuses!! It’s NEVER their fault, and most of the time, the employees aren’t even kind or apologetic (generally speaking). Sadly, the days of hometown pharmacy in Jackson are gone!

Please ignore all the nasty reviews. People have no patience anymore. Yes, CVS is short-staffed right now, but so is everyone! They are doing the best they can. Everyone there is always super kind and polite.

I have been so unsatisfied with the Pharmacy for years and still have continued to give them my business only because Moyes isn’t any better. The only way to get their attention is not do business with them anymore. I was told by a Pharmacy member that their Corp. office will not give them anymore help so the piss poor customer service won’t get any better and now several of the Pharmacist have left and it’s just going to get worst. They won’t answer a phone. They won’t fill a prescription when you come in even if your willing to wait. You have to stand in long lines to find out that the prescription that they have had is still in processing even though you have it set up to auto refill and you have to sit there and wait till they can get to it and then get back in the line to get the prescription. I’m done with CVS.

It’s unfortunate what has happened to this store. This is a prime example of poor management at the top level above store managers. With the absorption of another in town pharmacy occurring, district management should have predicted an influx in business. It’s all said and well until you fail to plan appropriately for this. The staff and pharmacist here are great but severely understaffed to take in the existing business capacity of the absorbed pharmacy and patients. Store managers can not allocate for additional hours they can only allocate what is given to the store and the employees of there choice. This decision comes at the district and upper levels and I’m sure they can easily see the justification to staff more people and hours during the peak workday to ease the congestion coming in with all the prescriptions. It’s makes no sense to have to wait 15-20 mins for someone to answer a pharmacy call only to be told “can you hold please” and then have to wait another 15 mins because the store is busy without enough staff allocated to work.If district management was smart they would perform audits or have someone review store feedback and hear the workers comments to make a change to turnaround the negative perception this store now has.Being in management for over 15 years it would be a disgrace to have a store that I represent perceived in this manner by the public. It might be time to think about new Management in this area. Matter of fact it’s past time and new to happen.I hope this review helps others.

If I could I would give -⭐(negative star).Well just a couple of days ago, I was waiting over an 1½hr to 2hrs for 2 prescriptions to be picked up. Had to drop off one which I knew would take some time to fill but the other prescription I had to pick up also I got a text saying it was ready. They finally called me up & said you were just picking up the one you dropped off right & I said no there should be 2 prescriptions & they said that the other prescription wasn't even ready or filled.Last time I was told by my doctor they sent over a prescription so I went the next morning to pick it up at 830am & it wasn't ready. So I went on to work & then tried to call before I came but no one ever picks up the phone EVER!!!! So I was on hold the whole time while I drove there & still no answer (was on the phone for 46mins just to see if they would ever pick up). So I went in & tried to pick my prescription up again & still wasn't ready so I went home then asked my husband to go by to pick it up later that day & this was at 8pm and still wasn't ready. So within 12hrs the prescription still wasn't ready. Wth! So my husband came & picked me up & went back up there & still waited over 35-45mins. Its been something every single time we go up there. Something needs to be done! We need the old pharmacies back in Jackson.

Used to be good, but now they never have my prescriptions ready. They rarely answer the phone and you are forced to wait for your prescription when it should be ready days in advance. I am a very regular customer and am up there weekly. I now have to go inside and tell them to fill my prescriptions for them to do it calling in your prescription gets you no where.

Moved to Jackson about a year and a half ago. Transferred Rxs to CVS about 4 months ago. Absolutely horrible experience. Things are rarely ready when promised. Called the pharmacy yesterday and was on hold for 18 minutes before someone answered. My wife called back later in the day and gave up after 40+ minutes on hold. Always a wait to talk to people who seem annoyed that I am there. The single exception is Betsy. If you get her attention she takes care of you.

HORRIBLE!! I have been going to this pharmacy for many years. Once the long term pharmacist Betsy retired the pharmacy went down hill. Sometimes it takes days to fill a prescription (with the meds in stock). They don’t answer the phone! I have been taking the same 2 meds for yrs and for the past 5 months when I’ve gone to fill one of the meds they didn’t have it in stock. The first time they didn’t have it I waited 8 days and they still get it in stock so I had to find another CVS that had it. Last month when I went they had neither of my meds in stock and stated it would be a week before they got it in stock! I have finally switched to Walgreens and have had zero problems getting my meds and in the same day!

I have had prescriptions sent to this location only due to my new primary care physician being in Jackson. I would usually send all of my prescriptions to the CVS on Hwy 36 in Covington. At this location in Jackson my medications are NEVER ready when I go pick them up. I frequently use the CVS app or access my prescription information on the CVS website and it tells you a day and time that it should be ready. For example, I went to the doctor yesterday (Sat, June 1st, 2019) and left around 1:30pm. My doctor sent 3 prescriptions to the CVS in Jackson while I was sitting there about to leave. I logged into my account on the CVS website and it said that all 3 of my medications would be ready Sat, June 1st, 2019 at 2:00pm. As I drove by I saw that they were pretty busy so I went home and had decided to pick them up later. As I am writing this my husband is sitting there waiting for them to be filled. Today is Sun, June 2nd, 2019 and he got there at 11:35am. This has only happened to me at this location. I do not suggest that you send any prescriptions to this location. I will say that their pharmacy staff are VERY friendly and professional. They apologize every time and understand my frustration.

Not a great place to get your prescriptions takes forever to get them, if your lucky to get them. And the customer service is severely lacking. I decided my sanity was important and switched pharmacies! But also keep in mind when you decide you have had enough and want to switch pharmacies, they will make it difficult. Like you don't have a right to take your business elsewhere.

I made an appointment for a Covid-19 test through the cvs website. It states on the website that the test is free even if you don’t have insurance. I have gotten tested through CVS twice before and never had a problem. This time I was told it was no longer free for uninsured patients. According to CVS’s website, the government’s website for Health and Human Services and CVS’s own customer service line, testing is free for uninsured patients. CVS’s customer care department says this store is giving out incorrect information. Unfortunately, this is possibly deadly wrong information.

Every time I go in I have to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes but usually closer to an hour. It's not the employees fault whatsoever though, they are always hustling to try to get to what you need, they are just way too busy. The one serious gripe I do have about CVS is that their prices are crazy high for prescriptions and everything else medical they sell! I usually get everything for about half the price at Kroger.

Some of the sweetest people on the planet came to work there when the the great Jackson pharmacy merge happened. We loved our hometown Jackson Drug store! But now I wait hours to days to get the meds I need. I’m a nurse and I have had to call on behalf of my patients and waited 45 minutes on hold. My pediatrician office is furious because when they call in antibiotics for children with Strep throat it is taking 48 hours to get their meds. I wish I could give less than one star or negative stars to this disaster of a drugstore monster that gobbled up the small stores and now holds us captive or forces us to drive 25 min to get meds.

I am currently on my 3rd day of waiting to pickup 2 prescriptions. NO excuse for this. The recording indicates that they are “in process” and one hour on hold and I hung up the phone.Come on CVS, get it together while you still have customers.
