Great service, incredible prices! It’s worth a drive from Athens to Hull to save money and get great service. I have several small children so the fact that they load up the feed in my car is a huge help. We got some chicks today!! And they’re getting more in soon. So I plan to be back. Let me tell you. There is nothing like a home town business who cares.Even though it’s a pretty decent clip from my home it is worth the drive knowing that once you get there they have what you need and service with a smile. Highly recommend!

Drove 45 minutes to pick up some whole corn. I called about 2 hours before I got there. When I arrived, I was told that because a semi was blocking the loading area, it would be over an hour before I could be loaded. I understand big trucks are part of the process but the person on the phone didn't warn me that a multi-hour wait was a possibility. It cost me almost 2 hours of my time and I still don't have any corn. Frustrating...

They are so helpful and nice. They make their own feed and it's amazing we had moved out of state and were getting our feed somewhere else and our animals were having a hard time maintaining their weight so we decided it's worth it to us to make the drive to ensure the health of our animals. I value their pre- bagged Blue Natural Dog Food because of the ingredients and the fact that most of our 6 dogs have much less gas on it. Call before you go to be sure they have it in stock though. I bought cattle food from them once several months ago. At that point in time, B&G was advertising their cattle food at 3 cents a pound cheaper than what I was paying at my usual supplier. However, they had their re- purposed pecan bags pre- filled with cattle food and pre-weighed. I was shocked to find I was charged for the same weight (2000 pounds) in this smaller bag as what we normally weighed ourselves in our larger bag (2000 pounds). I definitely prefer weighing my food myself. Also, the food had a fair amount of trash in it.

This was our first time to use B & G Seed. We are very pleased. An employee unloaded our pecans and carried them inside the building for us and brought them back out and loaded them into our vehicle when they were finished processing them. We didn't need an appointment and they were ready to be picked up in one hour. We could have stayed and waited but decided to drive around the surrounding countryside since it was such a pretty day. The nut meats look beautiful, all halves !

the other day I went to pick up two bags of green dog food and the cashier asked me what are you doing here as if I wasn't welcome he was judging on appearance and not looking at me as a patron of buying a good quality product I was very let down by this people need to take their time to tell their kids to judge by character not by appearances

AMAZING prices and quality food. We were paying around $60 (on sale $54) for Nature's for about 18lbs. This is an enormous amount more food and for $25. My dogs LOVE it and we are getting more compliments on their coats and health now than ever!

B&G is great. I have gotten my chicks here a couple years now with a 100% survival rate into laying hens - only had one sick chick of out about 12 purchased so far and she was able to be brought back to health with some extra probiotics and heat. All the products you need for chickens, very affordable and well built coops, a lot of good feed for your dogs made on site.

The prices here are amazing, MUCH better than other feed stores, including Tractor Supply, and the selection is surprisingly good. They have oddball stuff that you don't see at the others. I like this place and will keep going back, but there's also a distinct man-hating vibe. The managers and sales clerks are all women and very cavalier. Male staff is limited to teenage flunkies who get to heave bags of feed around.

This place is and always has been fantastic. The staff is exceptionally knowledgable about all things feed & seed. Sarah taught me the difference between commercially produced dog good & their food. There's uses local ingredients from the community & is always fresh. My pups love the Ole Blue in the green bag. They have different levels of protein & also have non GMO , all natural ingredients. Better for the digestive system. Go see Sarah, she will teach you all you need to know about farm & domestic animal care.
