Went to pick up my prescription today and the guy told me it’s not a prescription it’s an over the counter medicine but that didn’t sound right so I went back and turns out he just didn’t have it in stock! He could’ve of just said that in the first place so then he transferred my prescription to another pharmacy. Why do that, why tell me a lie?? What if I had bought the one over the counter and I was allergic to it. Very unprofessional & lack of communication skills. I recommend Jackson Pharmacy

So I need antibiotics and steroids and they were called in last night by the urgent care and I have spent the last hour trying to see if they are ready but can't talk to anyone so I guess I will have to go there sick and set there for God knows how long. Never had a good experience with this place and if my insurance would not force Mr I would never use them again in my life. If u have a choice this would not be advised.

This is hands down the worst CVS I’ve ever been too. The pharmacy NEVER answers their phone for me/my other pharmacist or even my PCP office. I finally had to drive up there and went through the drive through and when I questioned the pharmacy tech about why they don’t answer their phone for anyone she didn’t have much of a response and danced around saying that they were too busy. I transferred my prescriptions to Kroger in Jefferson. They’re professional, efficient and they will even go above and beyond by offering you discount cards coupons to make things as cheap as possible out of your pocket after they run your insurance. It’s worth moving pharmacies just for the increased customer service piece alone.

Apparently they dont check voicemails to get prescriptions left when they dont answer the phone. Prescription left on Wednesday via voicemail and went to pick up Friday and claimed to have never gotten a vm.

When I first started getting Rx here it was wonderful, fast, timely, no issues getting the medicine or getting help/Qs answered. Now if I call I have waited on hold in excess of 10 minutes and several times I have waited almost an hour. I put phone on speaker and do other tasks while I wait. However, now it has gotten to the point where the refills are slow and for the last two months the refills weren't filled until I am going 2-3 days without my meds. This isn't because I don't call to schedule the refill. I called a week ahead of time! Today I tried to switch to a new pharmacy and they reported they called CVS to get the switch initiated and 7 hours later have had no response and no call back. Now I am going ANOTHER DAY without my medicine. Thankfully mine is one that is not life or death and semi-optional, but that is no excuse. I rarely, if ever, write bad reviews, but something needs to change at this location and these issues could be very serious for others who have more severe medical conditions and really need their Rxs on time!

Staff is terrible. CVS doesn't answer their phones. This store and company is a joke. Save your self the trouble and just go to Walgreens or Walmart.

I would give the CVS Pharmacy in Hoschton, Georgia zero stars, (but to post this review I have to at least give one), as their performance recently has been so below any professional standards, it’s unbelievable! The lack of caring or any concern was so outwardly obvious… the facial expressions & body language said it all! After asking direct questions & continuing to get the most vague answers….it was obvious they care absolutely nothing about their customers. We have done business at this location for over 13 years, but in the recent months have lost the last pharmacist of the group that had always worked here for many years. Tomorrows first order of business will be to have all of our business relocated to a local pharmacy that cares, to try to reach any executive branch of CVS that actually would care to know what’s going on at a local level, & to encourage all members of our circle to relocate their business to another pharmacy.

Not specific to this location, but CVS has the absolute worst automated phone system among all pharmacies. I switched to Walgreens for a far more effective response.

Routinely sit on hold for more than an hour. Their idea of customer service is nothing but attitudes and excuses. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Please make sure you allow lots of time to get anything refilled. They are mostly nice but very understaffed and seem to have a hard time getting there work load done. Drive in always take priority of walking so stay on the comfort or your car.
