Always, ALWAYS, so helpful! If I'm doing a dyi project or need to do a home repair they always help me get exactly what I need and they don't try to sell you things you don't! Also this is the ONLY place I will buy potting soil from, it always grows my flowers bigger and healthier than anything else.

This is one of my favorite businesses in Hogansville. Van's is a traditional hardware store, with old school hands-on service. I try to think of Van's for anything I might need that he can get for me, before I got to the big box stores. Often I order from him and wait a week rather than buy from the big store. I buy all my bird seed, keys, lawn, insecticide, plants, and tools from Van's whenever I can. Van gets Made In USA products whenever he can, which I like. (Update: Seven years later, still shopping at Van's Hardware!)

Best hardware store around for anything you need he has or will get it within about a week. You don't have to walk 25 miles in the store like you do at home depot and as soon as you walk in someone is ready to help you out. Not a huge store but a good selection Van has everything you came for and a few things you didn't come for but needed anyways. Highly recommend Vans and would not send anybody anywhere else.
