My whole family enjoyed this little zoo so much, my boys are 11 & 9 and my daughter is almost 2. The kids got to feed the birds in the aviary and the animals in the petting zoo. We walked around for an hr and half then sat down and had a picnic. They had a nice little sitting area by a pirate ship play ground that my daughter absolutely loved. And the staff were all very friendly and told us a lot about the animals. We will definitely be back.

10/10 ✨✨✨This petting zoo was amazing.$19.99 for entry for adults with no experiences / or add ons. +5.00 for a large bag of feed! This zoo is very well maintained & the animals look so healthy & happy ✨I love animals so when I suggested going everyone thought I was crazy LOL , but ended up having a great time!We arrived at 1pm on a Sunday perfect time. There was no one else there & we got to take out time & enjoy every animal & feed the animals as many times as we liked.Staff were very friendly & helpful. We even got to meet the new baby kangaroo- so I’ll be back next year to see how big he’s gotten lol.I’ll definitely be back 😊✨

This little gem was a fun find. We LOVED the Capybara Encounter. It was so cool to feed them and have an up close chance to learn about the giant rodents. Justin was an awesome host and answered all our questions. He even took the time to get several animals to come out of hiding so we could see them better. He was so knowledgeable and thoughtful. Give that guy a raise! The bird area was so fun too. We even bought a second round of feeder sticks so we could hangout with the birds longer. We were pretty disappointed to learn that our prebooked tickets did not come with a disclosure that many animals were not going to be at the zoo, but at the Hummingbird Festival on 10.21.23 instead. We probably would have rescheduled had we known.Another unfortunate find was a dirty bathroom with no toilet paper, empty soap dispenser, and only a couple papertowels. I reported it to the cashier with not much for a concerned response.Overall, they have so many wonderful animals to see and I'm glad we went. I doubt we will be back, though.Iron P Homestead, please do better with your communication and cleanliness.

Lauren and her animals were so incredible! We did a full VIP animal experience and it was educational and amazing! I loved the Capybaras!!! They are my spirit animal. The place is very much a low key homestead. Which I loved! It’s a small intimate experience and all the animals were well taken care of and the staff was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions enthusiastically. I love to see this quality and care for a zoo and conservation effort. Highly recommend!

We visited Iron P Homestead Zoo for my daughters birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. The gift shop is a beautiful boutique style, perfect for kids of all ages. The zoo grounds were well kept and beautiful as well. The staff were all friendly, inviting and knowledgeable about the many animals. They had so many farm animals as well as exotic animals that were really cool to see. My daughter enjoyed feeding and petting the llamas and sheeps. This was by far a better experience than visiting our local zoo. I highly recommend!

I was really surprised, as a Coweta resident, to discover that this awesome place has existed, just 20 minutes from our home for the past two years, & I'm just finding out about it.I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff was not just friendly but made us feel so, so welcome. One of the owners (a husband & wife duo) introduced herself to my two children and I as "MeMaw". Adorably Southern & precious.I highly suggest buying the "bird sticks" for one really awesome feeding experience in the aviary. My daughter had five birds on her, at one point. That aviary was a massive hit for my kids. Can't wait to get back just to do that again. The zoo is impressively well kept. The animals look beautiful and healthy. Their habitats are well maintained. The staff is really good about stopping to chat with you about the animals as well as answering any questions you may have. We've been to a ton of zoos & animal sanctuaries. This one delivered, hands down, the best experience for us.

How cool this is only a few miles down the road from me and I am just now getting out there. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the animals are awesome. Will be back soon! If you haven’t been to Iron P Homestead Zoo you should definitely plan a trip.

This zoo seems to be in the middle of nowhere but I was pleasantly surprised by all the animals they had. The person in charge was very pleasant and accommodating . Here, you can see the animals closer than a regular zoo. I wish there were more signs naming the animals but that wasn’t enough to take away a star. Great little place to visit.

Phenomenal experience! We went on a Saturday at 11am with no wait or others there. We didn't do the encounters or anything extra other than general admission & feed ($2) but there is still so much to see and walk around that makes it such a great trip! 👍 The animals are curious so they will come up and see you (and look for food and gentle petting) very cute!! So glad we could see so many animals up close you really wouldn't see anywhere near here. Way more enjoyable compared to a large overcrowded zoo. Thank you! ☺️

What a fabulous zoo. Well worth the ride. Staff was very informative. You could tell they loved the animals. I have never had a hands on experience like this before with so many exotic animals. The baby otters were the best! I loved being able to pet them and feed them and the aviary is a must. What a wonderful day we’ll spent with family and friends. I highly recommend Iron P Zoo

Myself and several family members (including two toddlers aged 2 and below) were fortunate enough to tour this lovely zoo on a sunny fall day. It was quiet for a Friday during school season, and the toddlers were able to run around and enjoy the animals. It is small, but well kept and clean. The playground area is great for little folks as well. The walkways are grass, and the area is hilly- which was fine for us but may be difficult for those of differing abilities. Overall a wonderful excursion!

This was a nice zoo, worth the money. The staff were super friendly and willing to help. Some of the animals seemed a little anxious but most were content.I wish the zoo was more transparent about what they do to help animals and conservation, and I also wish I knew how they sourced their animals to ensure this zoo did so humanely. Their website only mentions educating on conservation. I'd like to hear more.

It was absolutely amazing. Best zoo I've been to. Learn about all the animals on a tour first. Then go spend time with them all on your own. We also did the nursery and I got to hold the baby Wallaby. I was in heaven. Going to take all my grandkids back.

On our trip we did the “Behind the Scenes” tour and the “Nursery Experience” and they were both amazing! Our tour guide was awesome and took a lot of time with us to make sure we had the best experience possible. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

An amazing place to see and meet animals. I have never seen a zoo where every single animal looked healthy and happy, until I came here... the staff is amazing and friendly. Whoever named the animals deserves a medal... Elvis and Priscilla... The emus Liberty, Liberty, and Mutual... and the cutest little arctic foxes Anne Oakley, and Calamity Jane, and many more... I would suggest making an appointment before going - make reservations.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. You could tell they love the animals. We were able to hold a few and learned a lot! Next time we will take the behind the scene tour and have the sloth experience- we look forward to visiting again.

Amazing local Zoo. They had alligators , lemurs, sloth bears, sloths, mountain lions, warthogs and lots, lots more. The staff was knowledgeable and awesome explaining animal behavior and interesting facts. Our grandson loved the petting zoo / animal feeding areas. The alpaca’s, goats, sheep and donkeys eat right out of your hands. It was amazing. The aviary had dozens of birds that could be fed and would land right on you. A very comfortable and easy walk around the facility.
