So I was talking into pet smart trying to find a top for my 55 gallon fish tank because the other one broke then I just happen to look over and see this little guy I wanted to get him so bad but my wife would have a cow if I brought it home without asking if it was OK come to find out it most definitely would not of been ok I kinda figured that LOL.

Took our cocker spaniel to be groomed.Worst experience ever! They called 1 hour after we dropped her off and said she pooped three times and they can’t groom her because she pooped. They had already pre shaved her and given her a bath. They called for us to pick her up soaking wet!! They told us they will give us a towel for her ride home.Let me explain, this dog is not aggressive, never meets a stranger, loves everyone and will lick and kiss you to death!When we picked her up she cowards down and was shaking! NEVER has this dog done this! Until we took her to this store!!!She was terrified!We took her to Austell a few days after to have them fix the shave and grooming that Hiram did. On the car ride there she started shaking again and was scared! She normally loves going to be groomed!!! Her normal groomer told us she was very agitated during the grooming … all I can figure is PTSD!Beware taking your animal to be groomed to the Hiram store!At this point we will never take our dog back!!!

Went with a friend as I don't have any pets. I am going to return to get a canary in a few weeks when they come in, later looking into an aquarium and fish.This place is clean the animals and birds look healthy and well kept. Also everyone was friendly and informed.I was so glad I went with my friend.

I’ve been in this location many times, yet when I visited yesterday it was really quite gross. Pee was dried up on the floor in two places and had ran under a shelf with treats in it. Nothing was cleaned up, they just stuck a wet floor sign out.

Jess the "manager" did not help the cashier at check-out although there were 3 to 4 customers behind me. I was behind a gentleman that was returning some items. We all stood there frustrated. I don't know why they always only have one cast. Sheer working, especially in the evenings or on weekends When YOU KNOW it's going to be busy. That's not good customer service and not good PR.

Took my Great Pyrenees here for a bath, blowout and nail trim. Was charged over 70 dollars and they told me they could not trim her nails which was the main reason I came and did not even discount the price for the inconvenience. Also she was still damp when I picked her up. Would absolutely not recommend and I’m taking my business else where.

I usually find most of what I'm looking for at this pet friendly store. If I don't see what my finicky cat eats, I suggest it & sometimes it shows up in inventory, to my surprise. I enjoy surprises & a friendly, customer service, professional atmosphere. Ample parking & clean bathroom. And don't forget to adopt a fur-baby.

I hope P.E.T.A doesn't visit this location. I was looking for African Cichlids and maybe a catfish. The tanks are very dirty, lots of dead fish that had been dead awhile in multiple tanks. They had three fish and due to the quality of the tanks I didnt want to buy anything. Im going to call my purchase of two african cichlids a pitty buy. I felt sorry for those fish. I felt sorry for all the fish. They really need to clean all of the tanks and keep the fish healthy that they have for sale. I wont be going back to this location. EVER!!

Have actually enjoyed going to PetSmart in Hiram, GA. to pick up cat food for some stray cats that I have adopted. They have all been very friendly.

Amazing staff, very friendly shoppers and their companions. Animal lovers are always so welcoming and kind. You forget that you are in Hiram when you are shopping there. Our locals don’t have very nice manners so it’s refreshing to see people engaging and enjoying each other’s company. It’s a great shopping experience. Definitely not a one stop shop but it can be. Employees are super helpful

I never had bad experience with PetSmart until today. The girl name Mariah in the Grooming department seems to have little to no experience with animals. She literally forced her hand to my puppy's face/ mouth to make him bark. Then she said my puppy bit her. The other co-worker seems to have more experience she came to help her to look at the bite Mariah covered her hand and said it was ok ( Hummm) " I was standing right there and my puppy Did Not Bite Mariah" My puppy was going to the other co- worker with no problem but, Mariah said she had to cancel the appointment. I will never go to that PetSmart in Hiram again.Oh yeah I forgot to mention as I walked in there was a confrontation going on at the checkout lines. I should have known to walk back out of the store .

I bought 2 baby guinea pigs. Just had to go to the vet because was sick with an upper respiratory infection and the other has a little congestion. They didn't tell me that he was sick.

Took my baby Rudy to Petsmart get groomed wished I would have done my research. I picked him up he came out with a swollen eye shut tight. Took him to the Vet ER they said he had cuts inside his eye lids, asked them what happened since he did not get a trim they claimed they did not know, they did pay his vet bills but my baby was in pain with a blue eye for a week or so he is finally opened his eye.. how nobody know what happened. He will not go to petsmart again for grooming.

I asked about a shock collar for cats. Was impolitely told "those don't exist", then immediately found them on Walmart's online store. Don't know why I'd ever come back here other than grooming.

Her hair wasn’t really cut although I specified areas of concern. I just don’t think they took their time with her. I’ve groomed her myself several times and was able to give her a clean cut in my bathroom! Then I paid extra for the furmination and hair were flying everywhere. Definitely a waste of money for that! The first time we went was great. This second time around not so good at all! #notreallyhappyThis is what my car look like after we paid the extra fee for the furminator.🤦🏽‍♀️I went home to trim my dog. Lots of scraggly hair is on her body and legs. Sorry but I won’t be back for a cut.

Took my dog in for a bath, full haircut, nail trim, etc. I got a phone call in 30 minutes saying she was ready. I've never picked her up so soon. I expressed my concerns because I knew she wasn't given a bath. She didn't smell, feel, or look like water touched her body. I was hesitant on this location for several reasons, and now I'll just travel further to get my money worth. These grooms are too high to be skimpy. I spoke with a tech and a manager, and they both just wanted to argue and not hear me out. The least they could have done was offer a complimentary bath. Not mention the number of eye boogers she had. When I asked if she was not able to wash them out, she said, "I cut off as much as I could." It wasn't a huge amount, but they sure didn't look like they even attempted to be washed.

I really like this PetSmart location, the staff are always very friendly. I regularly come here to pick up crickets for my critters at home and they are usually very prompt, I never have to wait long. My partner and I adopted a kitten on Sunday and we had a big purchase to get all the stuff she’ll need, and I was flipping through the coupon book we got upon adoption to apply to my purchase, I was a little scattered but Amanda was amazing, she was extremely patient, lended me scissors as I was having a tough time ripping the coupons out, and even looked through the coupon book to make sure I didn’t miss any coupons (I did, lol) and she helped me get them all applied to my purchase so I could redeem all the savings I could. All the staff here are awesome, but Amanda deserves a shout out specifically. Will always come back! Attached a picture of our baby, Whinnie, that we adopted as well!

Great place to shop with your dog. Dog friendly and customer service was excellent. PetSmart keeps their facilities pretty clean considering customers bring their pets in the store all day long.

My dog loves to go and get toys. I take him once a month to get his favorite things as well as pick up his food. The staff are always polite and love to give him loving.

Poorly trained staff. I went to buy a hamster for my granddaughter. I picked a cage and wheel and food and hamster. I was told the wheel would break it's back the cage was to small. Why sell items clearly marked for hamsters and then say nope. Idiots. I've had hamsters in my childhood, my kids childhood and these morons didn't have a clue. New nothing about the age age lifespan of a hamster and no clue how long they have been there. I left an 85 dollar sale and went to another shop and had a lovely conversation with someone who had a clue.

Thank you for shaving/ burning off my dogs nipples now they’re just scabs that I have to put A&D ointment on wish I could give NO stars, I have been to PetSmart’s all over the US b/c I am a truck driver and my dog is 12 she’s been going to petsmart for about 10 years this is by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD FROM A GROOMER if you don’t know how to groom or don’t have the patience then get another job, the lady told me she had a lot of undercoat uh well you think she’s a Husky and that’s why I brought her in is to be shaved so she could be cooler I know she has a thick top coat and undercoat SHES MY DOG and good thing she’s fixed cause nursing would be a problem bottom line don’t take your dog here wish I have of read the other review that said her dog only has anxiety here now I see why also her coat was choppy and uneven and she didn’t even shave her front arms I guess she was tired of dealing with her that last time I went to Kennasaw she said she was the perfect dog and I’ve never had any complaints until now she said she tried to nip at her 🤬you shaved her nipples off you think I just hope she’s not scared of the groomers now if I’m ever back in that area I’ll just go to Kennasaw where they don’t give excuses and your dog is done right and sent home with all there body parts good thing she wasn’t a boy she might have came home without a package, I couldn’t even go back inside I was SO angry from 11 months till now the grooming services have had nothing but problems per all the reviews

Great experience. The cashier was so nice. I had just adopted a kitten.She was so helpful.. I was going to use the coupon they gave me for a bag of food and she suggested that I save it for maybe a cat tree or the automatic litter box and I hadn't even thought about that and I really appreciate her saving me a little extra money especially after the adoption fee.I always appreciate customer service where they're helping you with your purchase rather than just wanting your money

Banfield is the greatest! We only take our little girl here. They have a great wellness plan. Their grooming is top notch, they really care about your pet.

I frequently use this pet-smart but every time time I go here I have had rude customer service. I don’t know why I always smile and greet them. It seems to be two ladies in particular that glare at me in response. They don’t help you find items. A few days ago was the first time I had a wonderful associate help me at the check out she had red hair and was so nice. It’s disappointing her coworkers make it hard to come here.
