Every time I call and get one answer, I go to the store and get the opposite answer. Every time I walk into my master bedroom I cringe because they mixed the color paint color wrong and I made the mistake of not being here when it was painted. I will drive an hour to go to Home Depot before I set foot in that store again.

The employees here were super nice and friendly and pointed me in the direction of what I asked for. However, they ended up not carrying the brand I wanted in what I was looking for even though it states online they do carry it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was this because I made the trip there for no reason. But other than that, the store and its employees were great!

I had purchased a brand new stihl FC 70 edger and since new it ran very poorly and would be very difficult to start, the maintenance team in the back would not stop helping me until it was fixed. It needed a new carburetor and Harris Ace honored the warranty. Everyone was a breeze to work with and I would not hesitate to go back. I own a growing lawn care business so their maintenance team's speed and expertise were vital to my business' success. Thanks again guys

If it was to Take the time To walk out to my trailer to see what was going on with my lawn mower. Just overall never fails to have me in-and-out. To preface this I’m working on a large project in the area, and have cumulatively spent around $20k at this store in the past 4 weeks. I like using local stores when possible to help small business. Today I got a call from one of my foreman telling me that the generator on site is down, so I decided to grab one at Ace to get them back up quickly. I went in, bought one and asked for assistance loading. I was told there’s no one to help. The cashier offered to help, but she was pretty tiny and I was scared that she might be hurt trying to help. I took it out to try to load it into my Sierra, but no go. I came back in and said that I can’t load it, so I have to return it. They said ok and returned it. None of this is the cashier’s fault, this is just lousy staffing by this store. I wish that I could rewind all of my past purchases, and won’t be spending another 20k. I’ve notified all of my foreman, painters and greensmen to not use this store.An additional observation, even though the policy for the store states that masks are required, all three of the staff in the store and 100% of the customers were not wearing a mask.

Very disorganized when getting a delivery from the back. Contractors cutting in front of obvious lines waiting for someone to help with lumber order and the associate just ignores the folks in line. Head cashier seemed to want to be anywhere else rather than at work, even complained to a customer that she would have to spend time looking up information, for the store she works in, to sell to the customer....very disheartening to see 3- 4 employees not give 2 hoots about the customers. One employee did come out of the office while chomping on pizza, to explain the boat we were looking at could be loaded up right then. Never offered a price, which wasn't posted, or anything else about it...and walked away.Very poorly managed. Needs better control over customer pick up area for lumber, better customer service training over all...other than that...Ace is The Place!

This Harris Ace is always great. The employees are always ready to help. If they dont have the answer, they find someone who does. Most anything is on hand for building, gardening and other. Great American family owned business. 5 Stars.

I went to get lightbulbs and everyone was standing around the register. Nobody asked if I needed help. I looked at one of the ladies at the register and she turned away like she didnt want to help me. Finally I walked around until i found a man that seemed to be running to the register as well. I was able to catch him and he helped me thoroughly, but seemed in a rush as well. Slow down and take care of the people who come in there. That was my first time and it seemed like you didnt have time for me.

The only place in town that had a stock pot big enough to fry a turkey. Yes, I went to every store in Hinesville. Great staff, very helpful and courteous. They got my repeat buisness!

Customer Service is Awful, they seem to think that your interrupting their day by asking for Help. I try to support local businesses but this one can make it on it's own, Hello Box Stores. The cashiers are a complete waste of time, BUT than you have the Guys, and they act like your wasting their time. Wish I could rate lower but this is the lowest they will let me go.

BUYERS BEWAREIf you buy any sort of equipment from them and attempt to get it repaired under warranty, they will NOT return your calls!!I purchased lawn tractor mower from them in June. I have been trying to get them to return my calls for OVER A MONTH. I spoke to many associates who assured me that I would get a call back. After a week I escalated to the manager, Angela on Augist 9th, who promised to return my call before her shift ended that evening. It has been three weeks, and despite calling multiple times a day, I have had zero luck getting anyone to answer the phone since then.

At first I thought my experience with ACE in Hinesville was going to be great! I stopped in Nov. 9, 2016 and spoke with a gentleman about needing a window. ACE provided the windows for the subdivision where I own a home, so I thought it would be best to go back to them. He attempted to look up the size from their records, but was unable to find it. No big deal we could drive back to the house and get it, but he offered to go out and measure it. Great, right? Well he goes to my house, measures, and goes back to the store, calls me and says he doesn't haven't in stock he would need to order it and it would take about 2 weeks. I ask him how much and he said $85. Then I asked who does he recommend to install it, and he said he could because it was so easy to just pop it in and he would just make the bill an even $100 ($85 for the window/$15 to install) really can't beat the price. We were in the middle of a PCS move and I just stopped to check on my house before moving across the country. I had to leave the next day so my Tenant went in to pay the $100 on Monday Nov. 12, 2016(It was near closing by the time I finished talking with the gentleman).I was emailed the invoice from Rebecca. With Thanksgiving coming I figured it may have a little delay so when I didn't get a call in two weeks I didn't mind. By mid December I call to check the status and was told someone would call me back. Called again a few days later and was told again someone would call me back. Christmas comes, moving and getting settled I forget about the window. I call again first week of January, same thing someone would call me back. February comes and my husband calls and says if they can't figure it out we need our money back. At this point he was transferred to Rebecca and she says she doesn't know anything about it but would have the manager call us. He calls and I explain everything that happened. HE ASSURED us he was going to take care of it and that he had to order the window and it would be 3 weeks until it came it. We continue to call and keep being told we will be called back. We called today and SIX TIMES the phone was disconnected when trying to reach Rebecca. FOUR AND HALF MONTHS later we still have no window, no refund, and no one will talk to us to get it resolved.

They typically have the stuff you can't find at lowes. Friendly staff. They carry Exmark mowers and Sthil weed eaters, chainsaws etc. Over all they carry better quality items than sLowes.
