If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. Every single time we get antibiotics filled there they are too lazy to check if it’s been mixed!! They will send you home with straight powder. Please check your meds before you leave so you don’t make it all the way home just to go all the way back to have them fill it. They obviously need to get a better system going or be trained on their positions again.

This pharmacy is awful I’m not sure if they r understaffed or just no sense of urgency to move things quicker there is always a long wait inside and in the drive through today I waited over 30mins in the drive through and not one car moved!! If that persons prescription is not ready they should be told to come back not sit and wait and hold up the other cars! multiple people pulled away and the whole idea of closing completely down for lunch is mind blowing especially seeing it is constantly busy.. terrible idea! I called to ask what was going on to just be told have a nice day and hung up on! Horrible service from them in every way

CVS Pharmacy is a helpful, friendly pharmacy. You may have to wait in line, but it’s worth it. I find it easier to come inside rather than go through the drive thru because the line inside seems to move faster.Be mindful that the pharmacy closes from 1:30-2:00pm every day for lunch.

My perefription has been processing for over a week and they partially filled it, but still don't have a crucial medication I need. What kind of pharmacy doesn't have the correct medications? I'm not without my meds because this pharmacy operates poorly. This is the second time in a row this has happened.Also If you're in need of the pharmacy be sure to bring a chair, even if you're next in line you might be waiting 20 minutes (like I've done several times) to talk to someone. Hopefully they have what you need when you get here.

The information I'm sharing about the CVS pharmacy services I received at this location occured on Friday, January 26, 2024 around the time 7:50 p.m. with their pharmacist named Sam (she wouldn't give her last name up when I asked because she didn't want her behavior REPORTED to her GENERAL MANAGER/SUPERVISOR)..I'm a veteran that was sick with a very bad cold that was picking my medication up that was prescribed from St. Joseph's Urgent Care Hinesville, Georgia.This pharmacist named Sam when I inquired about my prescribed medication hands me over the counter medicine. I stated to her I have Tricare insurance (retired insurance for qualified veterans), & I served my country in the military to have the best coverage outside possible and I always had my prescriptions covered at this location for the last couple of years with no problems. I also stated to Sam I have Tricare insurance what's going on with my prescription. She stated I'm handing you over the counter medications (mind she never stated why she handed me over the counter CVS generic brand medications).Well I called SJUC to speak to the Nurse Practitioner, I placed the call on speaker for me and the CVS Pharmacist Sam could hear the conversation at the same time. This pharmacist Sam would not even talk to SJUC Nurse Practitioner about which prescribed medication Tricare would cover AT ALL!!! Sam walked away from the phone call with her RUDE, NASTY & UNPROFESSIONAL SELF as the Nurse Practitioner tried talking to her about the prescription medications that they electronically sent to CVS for me that Tricare insurance would cover!!! She was VERY rude and VERY nasty to me as a VETERAN & I didn't deserve that!!!!!Sam tells me to leave the store CVS after one of her co-workers asked me about the encounter. I stateded to this young man I called your pharmacist out because she has no idea what the veterans go through & I didn't deserve her customer services treatment. I did complain to a store manager on my way leaving out (she apologized for Sam's unbecoming rude behavior) of the pharmacist behavior and she kindly stated for me to contact this other pharmacist to speak/ file a complaint the next Monday following.Sam should NOT be working at CVS with the general public especially our veterans who served this country VOLUNTEERELY!!!!!! We don't deserve this type of treatment from no one!! If it wasn't for THE MILITARY protecting and covering the U.S. Sam would be out a JOB & not WORKING at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope Sam's boss sees this review and puts her back in CUSTOMER SERVICES TRAINING with the GENERAL PUBLIC because she needs it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible experience. ER dr sent meds to be filled. Went the first time and was told to come back in an hour and a half. When I returned, they told me they didn’t have it filled and couldn’t tell me when it would be filled. An extremely frustrating interaction with this company. And the girl working at the drive-through window should be working where they don’t interact with customers. Very rude.

CVS is always a great place to get items you already know this chain store carries. This specific store has never given me any issues but I would say that I hardly see employees. I only ever see one and when I went on Christmas Day I just saw 2 at the register

I telephoned the pharmacy section at this Hinesville, GA location, store #6596, regarding the receipt of a prescription. I was placed on hold for more than 40 minutes. I drove 25 minutes to the facility while on hold to learn that my prescription had not been received. However, when I arrived, there were 2 patrons in line and personnel cordially socializing while my call remained on hold. The tech looked at their phone and saw the pending call(s). I spoke with the pharmacy manager, Sam, who informed me that “this facility is extremely busy, and priority is given to customers in-store, not on the phone. Furthermore, corporate instructed her to follow this process.” This is clearly poor, unprofessional customer service with a blatant lack of empathy for customers.

This pharmacy is truely horrible. The associates act like they are there as part of a court order and want to make it your problem. They don’t fill prescriptions by the time they tell you. Slow, rude, bad service.

Customer service is average at best and it seems staff is not clear on policies. Ask do you have the PCR, told yes. Asked if they accept insurance for COVID test, told yes. Was directed to schedule on a website then go to drive thru. At drive asked for PCR test told, we don’t have that test. Asked do they accept TRICARE insure, told yes. 2 days later my account is charged. Call CVS get directed to a corporate number and ensure they will correct it. Called corporate where I was informed online scheduling does not accept insurance. They can’t help me. NEVER AGAIN will I use a CVS for any thing. This is THIRD time I’ve encounter deceitful service from CVS.

Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. Messing around and not filling my wife’s prescriptions (for her painful and horridly swollen gums/face) after 3 hours of being told they’d be ready in “about 40 minutes”. Not to even get started on how worthless their communication was/is to filling my sons medication. Terrible customer service. I wish I could rate it negative stars.

I got my prescription filled here and also bought some meds. They pharmacy is really nice. My first time here and they got everything done in about 10 minutes. I've never had a prescription filled that fast.

I just went here to go pick up my prescription and the lady helping me was being so rude and impatient with me. I asked them if they had my medicine but they said they didn’t have it. If I drove off I wouldn’t have had my prescription. I just called in before I got there and they told me my pills were ready. I explained this then all of a sudden my pills appear. Then she shoved my pill in the box at the window and she was silent; there was no apology or anything from her.

Worst pharmacy i have ever been too. I was told that my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. Not a problem. THEY ARE ON LUNCH IN 30 MINUTES. I see what they did there. LAZY and incompetent workers who do not value the concept of customer service and healthcare. Shame on you CVS. Do better.

Absolutely unprofessional !!! They never have anything in stock but they are the only pharmacy in town that takes tricare. I specifically asked the lady when the medication would come in she told me they can’t say for sure because if security measures but it should be in in about a week. I explained to her that my son really needed this medication and that if they wouldn’t get it delivered within a week could I get a call so I can go look for a different pharmacy. Long story short 3 weeks go by and I still don’t have my prescription filled. I go to the window today and they are telling me another week. So I explained again that I’ve already waited 3 weeks why would it take another week. The lady tells me that they gave our medication to someone else because we didn’t pick it up (mind you it was never ready for pick up, I didn’t receive a call or text. When we checked in the status it was never ready). So I asked for our prescription back so I could take it to a different pharmacy and the lady is having an attitude!!! Rude !!! Unprofessional !!! And unethical !!!! Once the new Publix is build I’m sure they will loose all tricare business , as they should !

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Waited in line for 15 mins and they closed for lunch as it was my turn. Didn’t speak just closed the curtain with me and several cars behind me. I think a prerequisite to be hired at cvs is to be the most ignorant rude person in hinesville. I don’t quite understand how they still have customers. Disgusting show of professionalism. Glad to see this is how they treat service members and their families.

Jasmine at the pharmacy went above and beyond to help me! I was having a hard time with my payment for a medication and she was so kind, patient, and understanding. She waited while I worked some things out and she didn’t have to. I appreciate that so much.

If I could give this CVS zero stars I would! The customer service I received today was poor and inexcusable. I had a medication sent in from my doctor and when I called to get clarification on why my prescription wouldn't be filled for another week I waited to talk to someone for 20 minutes. As a pharmacy technician for another competitor I understand how things can get busy. Since I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, I had one of the pharmacists I work with call and transfer my prescription, but he too was unsuccessful and waited for an hour before he gave up. I took the time out of my day to drive to this CVS and inquire about my medication. When I got this CVS I stood at the drop-off window for 3 minutes while the pharmacist held a non-work related conversation with another employee and the technician was loading paper in a printer. They both saw me walk up and did not acknowledge my presence. When I did finally receive some service and explained that I wanted my prescription transferred to the pharmacy I work at since they were not answering calls, I was told "obviously we couldn't answer the phone if the pharmacist waited to speak to someone for an hour." The pharmacist even expressed to me that they had people holding on the phone waiting to be serviced, but there was no one taking their calls when I arrived and I was the only customer at the time waiting to be helped. Poor customer service. I work for a competitor and willing to bring my business to CVS. Never again.

I accompanied my neighbour to get her meds refilled.Quiet and open for business as usualI had to visit this store many timesFrom my first covid shot to miscellaneous purchases.The staff here at the check-out counter and the actual medical counter are hard-working people, ready to help, people, orientedeven when we are in crisis. I was waiting in line when I overheard a soldier making plans as he was deployed to Korea. such an interesting place to meet people.The ATM here is free for me and I enjoy being a CVS customer not too long ago my brother and I drove up here in the pouring rain to pick up my prescription we were returning from the doctor's visit.That morning was very dramatic, with my lift hand in a sling, I had practically passed out in the doctor's office as I was leaving. I had taken my hand out of the sling as the doctor had ordered and my hand dropped as I screamed out in pain to my brotherran into the office and demanded an explanationAfter the drama passed we headed for CVS on the corner of general ScrevenAt 114 Hinesville in GA.The front desk did attempt to call the ambulance which had to be cancelled.My brother and I left there relieve from the morning event. Inspite of that I did not go to the hospital on a ambulance, after CVS we returned home and forget all about it, there was a lession to learn from all of thisTrust your doctors and know your body as well, they can be wrong at times and this was one of those times.There never a normal day with this local guide google before you go the map always does it job.Google local guide for CVS pharmacy

If I could give a less than one star review I would. I received the WORST customer service today by the cashier Storm. He was dismissive and rude. CVS really needs to invest in some customer service training for their associates. If this wasn't the only pharmacy in town, I would go somewhere else. It's a shame the public has to put up with this type of person when spending their hard earned money.

Rude staff. Inconsiderate and racist. Stood in line and was 2nd person in line. All 3 staff members saw me standing there waiting and decided to take all 3 black customers first that was waiting after me. I cussed all 3 staff members( 2 black females and 1 white guy)out for that like I was just standing in life for charity. Their attitude changed real quick and became more respectful to me. Piss poor staffing at CVS pharmacy in Hinesville,Ga. I recommend not using this pharmacy.

I have placed 2 different photo orders online for pickup at this location and both times the employees have the hardest time finding my items. I am sure it is the utter chaos and unorganized way the photo department is. There are orders laying all over the place back behind the counter. Management needs to do better - hard for the employees to do their with this type of chaos.

Friendly, helpful employees in pharmacy and front of store. Wait times for refills are not long. I love how my refills are automatically filled and CVS texts me. A little wait after my appointment time to get my COVID booster, but not bad. Store is well stocked and clean.

Worst Pharmacy ever, they constantly try to change you Prescriptions to generics even though the generics cost more than the brand in some cases with a coupon. They never have your prescriptions on time and they have the worst customer service. Everything they tried to say they couldn’t do with medication being brand at the Richmond Hill pharmacy they did and the person in Hinesville tried to tell me they were not going to be able to do it no matter where I went and the sad part about it I have been taking this medicine for 10 years with no issues until I switched to the Hinesville location. Thank God I know my rights as a patient but I feel sorry for all the patients that don’t and they leave without their medication or get overcharged for generics!!

I just left the pharmacy and am requesting for my prescription to be transferred to another pharmacy. I understand that the staff is very busy but common courtesy of acknowledging that “someone will be right with you shortly” would be nicer , rather than completely ignoring customers . I had an issue with my prescription not being filled and my Dr. requested it this Monday. I have been there twice this week and it is still not filled. When I explained for the third time that my Dr. called it in twice already, one of the staff interrupted me and stated “No! They did not call it in.” Very rudely. I’ve dealt with unprofessionalism over the phone, constantly being interrupted from another staff member in the past. I understand during these times that things are tense and stressful for pharmacy staff but more professionalism, empathy and patience wouldn’t hurt especially when customers like myself have continued to patronize this business for years simply for the price and convenience. It’s not worth the headache anymore and I like many others in these reviews have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Say in line for a Covid test for an hour and 15 minutes. When I got to the desk they said that their is a problem with the system processing my insurance and I would have to reschedule. This is the second time I have come and waited for an hour. I responded that I would pay for the test out of pocket. They wouldn’t allow me to do so. Then I said I’ll just wait until they figure it out. They’re response was “you can not wait you have to reschedule”. Then they threatened to call the cops on me. This is the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. I highly recommend that you find somewhere else to go

From a physician’s perspective, I wish I could give this pharmacy zero stars. I contacted them and was told a prescription that I wrote (paper in hand of patient with a signature and appropriate physician identification numbers, etc) could not be filled for this person. After a long discussion, the last comment made by the pharmacy representative was “it’s not my fault the patient has Medicaid.” And then she hung up. She also held on to the prescription so that the person couldn’t take it to another pharmacy. Honestly not sure if that person was the pharmacist or an assistant, but either way, the behavior was quite inappropriate and discriminatory. Now this person has to drive over an hour to pick up a new prescription. I’ve read some other reviews on this pharmacy, and all the one stars are telling the truth. I hope my other patients near here haven’t had the same trouble as they are typically postoperative patients and require the medications that I prescribe.
