Fantastic service at the meat & cheese deli! Every time I go grocery shopping, I ask thewonderful man who works there for his meat & cheese recommendations & he is never wrong! It's the highlight if my shopping trip. Nothing like a good sandwich & so much better than pre-packaged. It's not always more expensive - check out the sales.

On Friday afternoon at 3:45 pm the deli didn’t have any white bread for subs, nothing fresh in the Chinese hot area, just half a tray of I’m not sure what kind of meat and not a single rotisserie chicken. This store has gone downhill for the last two years. Last week I bought milk and it was spoiled 5 days before expiration date. The manager is a very nice guy but this is by far the worse Ingles around. If Publix were to visit I’m sure they would build a store in our town.

Love the store. Nice selection, decent prices, lots of hot food to choose from. My only complaint is the self-checkout registers. They are horrible. Needed an employee apx. 5 times just to get through scanning my groceries.

Check your receipts and watch when items are being scanned at check-out. At least twice a week, I notice items marked on sale do not show the sale price once they are scanned. Even though I do catch the store's errors sometimes. They do not give you the ítem for free. This is their policy. If a sale ítem doesnt ring Up correctly, store policy says you get the ítem for free. Nope. It never happens for me. Not to mention, I recently paid $5.26 for popcorn that should have been on sale for $3.00. I didnt know until I got home and looked at the receipt. I am frustrated because this issue has been going on at this store for many years.

This Ingles has a great selection. The salad bar is always fresh. The cashiers are fast and efficient. Suzannah is the best cashier and meticulous bagger. Well appreciated!

If you shop at the Ingles in Hiawassee, please check the price of EVERY item you buy when you are checking out. Week after week, about 30% of what we have in our cart rings up higher than the advertised price. The clerks just laugh it off and say “oh, we need to update our system”. If we do shop there, we now take a photo of every item with the price listed on the shelf so we can check it when checking out. I really don’t think this is accidental and I’m sure they make a lot of profit off of people who aren’t paying attention.

It's the only grocery store in town. Large store with plenty of options and selection.It's absolutely no Publix but it's certainly not bad.

I am so tired of shopping somewhere that is so overpriced and takes complet advantage of all of us locals !!! It’s a sin. Truly. I think I’m boycotting ingles !!!Support your local community ingles. This is not right.

Good old Ingles! I signed up for a card and lost it, so they said I can look it up with my phone number, but only in the Ingles I signed up in? Technology is slow here but it’s American owned, so pay no attention to the problems. We will adapt! Decent produce and deli section, but the cornbread- looks all good but it was dry and nasty. Most other things I got off salad bar were good. It’s a grocery store with your basics.

I always visit Ingles market when I come here. I don’t get to enjoy this at home. I really like it. It’s one of my favorite stores to shop and I always love going to the deli and getting fresh food. Also the huge selection of beers. I don’t know why, but I feel like a kid in a candy store. Every time I come to the store is always some thing to find new.

Very clean and beautiful facility. Great and warm staff. We had a terrible experience at the blimpie, so we decided to just get sandwiches and groceries at this Ingles. It was so refreshing to see people be respectful and that everyone seemed to love what they did. No one side eyed us nor treated differently. My family will most definitely come back.

Only store in town. It's great. If Walmart was next door, I'd still shop in Ingles. As ofMay 1,2024, it's become the worst grocery store around. No customer service available, poorly maintained inventory, and in the past 20+ years that I've lived here and at least 6 Managers later, nothing has changed. If another grocery would ever locate here, this Ingles works be gone.

This was my first time to have lunch at this Ingles in Hiawassee, Georgia. I had a chicken plate with two sides. The chicken and vegetables were cooked just right. I have never had a problem with anything at any of the Ingles' DELIS.However, today, March 7, 2024, a friend went by to pick up some groceries for me. He could not find the name brand OLD FASHIONED bread. Everyone seemed like they did not know what he was talking about. He purchased another name, brand bread. We found out later that it had not been put out until after my friend left. Why did an employee not tell my friend that Engles stocked it but had not put it out this morning. An Ingles employee was very rude about it about two weeks ago, also. He told my friend that all the bread they had was OLD FASHIONED.

Ingles is incredibly expensive compared to other grocery stores. Also, they no longer allow folks from out of town to use their phone number as an alternate ID for their savings card. Talk about cheap.
