I hate there’s so many bad reviews but I must say this is one of the best pawn shops in town I’ve visited. They’re always super nice and respectful of your items. Never had any issue with pawn or purchase. I actually remember purchasing a controller for PS4 I had issues with it a few days later and they refunded me no questions no hassle. They’ve been in business for a long time and would never do any type of dirty work. Love the staff as well.

Awesome place to do business when buying something you need or just pawning anything for extra cash. Really enjoyed my experience at the store looking around. I highly recommend top dog before any competition in town... that's including walmart

The guy behind the counter is not very customer friendly. If you don’t answer your phone then they will sell your stuff after 30 days. Sold my $350 bandsaw after 30 days cuz I didn’t answer the phone and they assumed that I wasn’t going to come back and get it. Terrible place!!

This location off Tobacco Rd, is NOT one I will return to. An employee told my husband that he owed more money for a pawn that he had initially been given. The owner got involved in the situation and backed up the misinformed employee. My husband told the owner that he would not do business with this store again. The owner then said he would make sure that WE couldn't do business at the Washington Rd location ever again. I walked in at the tail end of the situation and never heard any of the disagreement ... So why was I "banned", too?! We have spent thousands at the one we like ... I feel like this is discrimination!The staff at the owner's store is like waiting for paint to dry ... The owner is not friendly nor courteous ... I can't even say he was professional. Anyways .... Steer clear of this location.... Double check your receipt IF you've already been there recently...Better yet, just go to the Washington Rd location! The owner doesn't DESERVE to have these courteous, professional and friendly folks working for him. I only left 1 star as it won't let me leave Zero...

Very nice shop. Staff was friendly. Called in asked if they had a specific item. Lady said they had multiple. Drove in was promptly greeted. Found what I was looking for and another item. Pricing was in line with what you'd expect. Will be back again in the future.

It's a lot nicer than other pawn shops in the area. I took 500$ in merchandise to a nearby pawn shop, AAAAnd they offered me 40$. The guy at Top Dog gave me what I asked for and was a lot more helpful and polite. Best Pawn Shop in Hephzibah.

Stood in line for 10 minutes trying to make a transaction, after walking in and speaking and not a word was said to me. Just to be told that he wasn’t interested. I’m fine with that but he didn’t check the merch I had or ask if I wanted to pawn or sell anything his only words to me were I’m not interested. He was too busy chatting it up with a female customer after the transaction was complete never will I go there or recommend it. Very unprofessional

Stopped by today to get a pawn against a chainsaw. I waited 15 minutes while the three employees set there playing on their computers with not a single customer in the place but me. real-time 15 minutes. real date. really happened. absolutely ridiculous. good job, folks, way to lose customers.

Must be a crook within that office because I brought up a 29 g 10 karat gold necklace to them and when I came back to do further business with them they said my chain was fake and I owe them money bunch of crooks don't go to the store they will lowball you to the bottom dollar give you nothing and then still expect you to pay it back to them after they gave you the money and tested your product horrible bunch of people
