When saying goodbye to our 4 legged furbabies. One of the hardest life events ever. Dr.Meyer & the South Points Animal Hospital Staff were So kind & patient with me. Allowing me 45 minutes past closing to spend with my girl" Sandie" 😥 🐕 💕. Our big Labrador, "Puppie" had passed 5 months earlier. Jeff, my husband was with her until the end. Great staff and excellent vet. Takes excellent care of our dogs. My older dog owes his life to their care. He actually loves going to the doctor. He's leash yanking tail wagging happy everytime we pull up.

They saw us in an emergency just at closing time. The staff, and Dr. were all very caring, and did all they could to help my son's dog that had been viciously attacked. I highly recommend them! And Bella is well on her way to a full recovery!!

South Pointe Animal Hospital's Mayer Teryl L DVM is quite possibly the most caring vet we've ever had. We've been clients of South Pointe Animal Hospital since 2001 with our furry babies: Muffin (RIP 20), Mynx (RIP 20), Luna (RIP 6), Bryce (RIP 18), Chance (RIP 2), Sassy (12), Bibi (11), & Chloe (10). The staff has always been friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the personal follow up calls that Dr. Mayer made when each of our older pets crossed Rainbow Bridge. The fees associated with our pet's care has always been reasonable. The service has always been excellent.

Southpoint Animal Hospital is excellent.Not many vets will see or treat pigeons, and very few that will know anything about them.Mine are the only pigeons they have experience with, but they have been treated with respect as a valued learning experience.Strongly recommend.

She rubbed me the wrong way & tried to force me to make a decision on the spot which included euthanizing my pet or giving him away to a rescue. I wanted to research and go thru all my options since I couldn’t afford the money she wanted on the spot. My pet was viciously attacked and I wanted to research all avenues to get him help. It hurt my feelings the approach she took & turned me off from wanting to return. I’m only giving 3 stars because after telling her about her rudeness she suggested an organization that would assist me with affording my pet’s surgery. I immediately contacted them and got my baby the help he needed & paid half the cost. Still, she was talking down on me like i felt my pet didn’t feel any pain from his condition. If i truly felt that way i wouldn’t have made an immediate appointment to her office & pay to get him help!! She apologized but it fell on deaf ears. Her attitude and behavior truly hurt me and I felt judged because I didn’t give her an immediate answer. My dog is my child. I haven’t been able to have kids. He is all I care for along with his brother. How dare you talk to me like you did and judge me. Appreciate the pet’s parents as well! And don’t judge me because I’m young or whatever prejudgments you had about me. My baby got the help he needed, that’s what matter but I gotta let people know how I was treated by YOU.
