Convenient location. They care about my dog. My bill is never less than $200 when my girl visits. Everyone is nice. The Vet is honest about ailments and issues but is not overly pushy about treatment options. Her complimentary nail trim was awesome. I stay in my car after check-in so my girl does not stress and the other pets and owners don’t get stressed. They really go above and beyond for their clients.

Just the nicest people work here. Had to euthanize my 13 yo male St. Bernard and they tried to make us feel as comfortable as possible during a horrible time. Compassionate and caring it made a big difference with how we felt as a family. Our 14 yo Saint is now at her time in life when her body just isn't working right anymore and we will definitely be returning to South Pointe when the day for her to pass arrives.

10/10. My husband and I have been taking our dog here since he was just a puppy and he’s now almost 4 years old. He has really bad anxiety and Dr. Mayer and the staff have always been understanding and cooperative with us and him. The staff is always helpful with picking up routine meds, making appointments and answering any questions they can. Dr. Mayer has never rushed us out! Definitely recommend.

Called on Thursday 11/16 6 min before closing, just had 2 simple questions, was asked if I could be put on hold real fast, I said yes, was put on hold the entire 6 minutes and then a recording came over saying that they were closed and to call back later....So absolutely rude and unprofessional.I've been in before and spent a few hundred but guess I need to find a new vet :/

Great place!!! If you want your pet to get great care this is the place. Leonidas needed surgery in Athens. The vet stayed up to date with his progress in Athens. I had no idea she was checking on him. The next visit I was telling her about the surgery and she was telling me about the updates she got. This is a great place with great people ..

The doctor that works at south point is amazing she is extramely nice but the staff working the desk. All I can say if you call when it says they are open just know you will be put on hold for a long time and they won't get back to you. You should just drive up there cause trying to get them on the phone is impossible.

I really enjoy this place! They’ve always treated my babies with great care! The vet here is great. She thoroughly explains things, answers any and all questions. She is quite literally one of my favorite vets, and we’ve live all over this country. Their staff is always great as well.

I stopped by just because it was 1000° outside I had rid 7 miles on a bike. I enjoyed the A.C and they were kind enough to give me a ice cold bottle water, while a far wealthier elderly woman with her cat stared at me like she might bite me.Wasn't busy, so if your car needs something, or your beast of a grandma needs her rabies vaccination I'm sure they got you 💯

Dr Mayer is an amazing vet and person over all. She is super friendly and straight forward. I appreciate and honest vet. The staff is great, kind and helpful. I would not take my babies anywhere else unless they are closed or if I ever move. Prices are competitive and worth any extra cost to keep my babies with one doctor who knows and cares for them as much as I do.

We love this place!!!! The staff is nice and knowledgeable. They see alot of fur babies so service is a little slow on their late days but still fast considering the volume. Doc recommended switching our food and our dogs loved the switch!!!!

We just moved to the area and one of our pets had an emergency earlier in the week and was treated by an emergency vet on the other side of town . We had to get some follow up blood work done the next day. South Pointe graciously saw us, Dr. Meyer took the time to introduce herself and took great care of our dog.

Called first thing in the morning with a sick cat, possibly UTI. hasn't eaten, drank or urinated in over 12 hours- they tell me it's going to be 5 days before they can see him. I understand Schedules and appointments but there doesn't seem to be any room for any type of walk-in or emergency care. Very disappointing.

We drive 25 miles to South Point, because we trust Dr. Mayer with our pet. She is compassionate and gets down on the same level as your pet, even if that means getting on the floor. She's the best

I have been taking my 5 pugs here for the past 3 years and it is apparent that everyone that works here really loves animals. I greatly appreciate Dr. Mayer and staff taking the time out of their day to send my family a condolences card when we had to put our senior dog down. The rates are fair and Dr. Mayer goes above and beyond with follow up phone calls after every time we bring someone in that is sick.

I first started seeing this vet when I noticed a lump on my pups jaw line. The vet was very knowledgeable and suggested we try an antibiotic because it she suspected it as a foreign body that the immune system was trying to fight. 2 weeks of antibiotics and lump went away.Called a couple weeks later with a sick puppy I had just brought home 2 days before and they got me in to see the vet an hour later.Very happy with the services and advice I have received from them.

Dr Mayer and staff are friendly and professional as well. I have taken Zola for shots, nail trimmings and also had her spaying done there as well. They are always very thorough, answer all of my questions as well. Additionally are helping to manage weight loss for my dog and it's working! I will continue to use their services :-)
