Small town place; friendly people. I really like this place. Folks in this establishment are the nicest. Nicer than any KJs I've been to yet. I highly recommend a visit to the pastry, bakery, and buffet. The food is delicious! The folks are so well-mannered and courteous. The place is clean and so neat. It's better than most of the high-end grocery stores that we've been to. KJs on Highway 88 is the best!

Nice store but watch out for expired food. Do yourself a favor and check the dates on EVERYTHING. Also prices are pretty high unless there's a sale.

Ms. Donna in the Bakery department is the absolute best! She’s always so sweet and happy to make our celebrations the best with her creative ideas. She’s a true artist and it shows in her work! It’s rare these days to find someone who really cares and takes pride in their job. We’re blessed to have Ms. Donna at kJ’s Bakery in Hephzibah Georgia! 😉

This is the worst grocery store ever. I watched them throw away half a ham yesterday in the deli section because the cooler isn't cold enough and it had turned green. I've bought mushrooms that were slimy (I now poke a hole in the plastic to feel them), and herbs in the plastic containers in the produce section that had mold growing on it. Their selection is horrible and their prices are too high. I only go there because it's close to my house. If you can pick anywhere else to buy groceries, go there, not here.

Just left KJ's in Hephzibah, Ga Hwy 88. I stood at the customer service desk for five(5) minutes before anyone decided to wait on me. This happens EVERYTIME I need customer service.Then after I get all my grocery items on conveyor belt, checked out and paid for, the clerk left all my bags of groceries on the counter never offering to put them in my cart. While I was putting my bags in the cart she proceeded to start ringing up the next customer with all my groceries still on the counter.Needless to say, I will NEVER shop at another KJ's grocery store. This an on-going problem that has happened more than once. I will be deleting my account from my phone/computer. The only way that I will EVER shop at a KJ's will have to be an EXTREME EMERGENCY.By the way I am 80 years old. They must not like old people.

Good staff, great deli. Bad produce and bad grocery pricing. Ive worked in the grocery and produce industry for years, and the produce here is old. I know KJ’s is from up north and all but IGA would gain a lot from sourcing locally and from more southeast and southern suppliers. Not shipping produce from all over and it going moldy after a day or two in the fridge.

1st time visiting this store. As I pulled into the parking lot a customer has a dog in her arms like it was right for her to take a dog into the grocery store. I sat and waited until she came out of the store with her bags and figured KJs management feels it’s ok to bring dogs into the grocery store. Not service dogs…just random pets…No I’ll never visit this store again. 1st impressions are lasting impressions.

Kj needs to provide retraining for their employees. Today my grandmother went to the deli for a one meat and two sides meal and was charged over $15. Not knowing any better. We didn’t know until she got back home and we saw the receipt and then called the store for them to say it was overcharged and to come in for them to return the extra they have charged smh. This market is not close to us so that’s a huge inconvenience. I can only imagine how much they’re making on overcharging customers like it’s a name your price game. Just ridiculous!

Cashier wasn't polite, no "Hey how are you doing today or Did you find everything alright".. nope nothing..just silent and not welcoming.Higher and outrageous prices then where I usually shop; the store is needing of a good cleaning; when I walked into the store there was an unclean odor like the odor of bad fruit or vegetables and i look down and the floors, counters, registers are filthy so I went into the restroom and it was even nasty..i know sales are important for a business but if the store is in this condition what is that saying about the store?! Who is doing the cleaning in this store.. from the looks of it nobody or not the right people;I won't be buy any types of food from this store.

Good atmosphere, clean with very good selection of products. Prices are good. Lower prices than competitors on many items automatically without having to sign up for a savings card. 4 stars only because parking lot tends to be a bit dirty and the inside lighting is too dim. Probably to save on power bill which makes our prices lower for sure but just too dim.

The food quality in the hot foods area used to be good. It is not now. The server was an older lady (German I think) whom is very uninviting. For the second straight time in a week or so I had to ask for my drink that comes with the combo. There seems to be no more pride in that section.

There hot foods are real home cooking and good. Good portions also. I have traveled 35 minutes passing other places to get a home cooked meal there. I hive them a thumbs up. You may have to wait in line some days but its good.

Store is ALWAYS clean and organized. Staff always friendly and helpful. Unlike other KJ's IGAs in this area, the meat looks fresh and not just thrown together looking old. I dont mind driving an extra couple of miles to shop here.

Great lunch counter. They have a good selection of meats and vegetables. Good place to get a real meal at fast food prices. They offer take out, and also have a place inside that you can eat in. The bbc staff are helpful, and the portions are good sized.

The deli is unfriendly. They are rude and want to rush you through. After getting the food. I find hair in my food,cooked in the chicken skin. Shows how well the staff is trained at wearing the required uniforms. Like hair nets and gloves. Will not be going back to order any kind of food what so ever from that deli. Very rude and unfriendly staff! Oh and the food is bland and tasteless. So I would suggest a whole new group of workers.

Always clean store even the parking lot is spotless.... The cashier are nice friendly people . The different department people such as ( vegetable & fresh fruits, meat ,and even the dairy products) people are just a friendly staff not like your bigger store where the employees forget to say hello or good afternoon to their customers. Their prices are reasonably considering they are a small town grocery store. KJ'S Market IGA Hephzibah is a great place to shop .

Good clean shopping and easy to find items. Smaller markets are better in my book and reminds me of my old fashioned Winn Dixie but higher prices. Its an IGA though. They have to keep float against the other giants not mentioned here.

I live in the local area to this store. It was a nice store but over the last year or so the meat market has gone down hill. When you purchase ground beef there is more fat than actual meat now. The pork sausage variety has went away. Just last week when shopping produce we noticed was old. and lettuce was brown looking. Unfortunately me and my wife have had to start shopping back at food lion. We may check back in a month or so and look for any improvements. The store prices have went up considerably compared to local stores. It seems the in store restaurant/deli has more attention on it compared to being an actual grocery store.

Everyone in the store was nice and helpful except the cashier at the check out line. She was really rude and wasn't interested in helping your loyal customer at her check out. We come here all of the time. Our service has been great and the manager is nice and patient. Nowadays, we go to the Walmart Neighborhood Market, because IGA isn't exactly known for having anything. Once, they didn't have chicken breasts. Any. You would expect any grocery store to have that.

Prices here are way too high. Just picked up a pound of hamburger meat and a bell pepper and bacon and the cost was over 12 dollars!! Cannot believe how expensive things are here. IGA used to be a reasonable place to shop.

Can’t stand this place. Produce is always questionable looking. I went to get avocados and all had mold on them! I mean every single one. Then I went to check out and the cashier walked away to chit chat and when she came back she answered a call on her AirPods. Bad food, bad service not worth it. I’ll just go across the street to neighborhood market

Need a star lower than 1. Pre ordered Thanksgiving dinner EARLY to assure I got turkey. No turkey. Replaced with dried out ham unfit to eat ( dogs wouldn't eat it) no dressing in box. No mac and cheese in box. So our dinner consisted of green beans and cranberry sauce and stale rolls. Cost was $70! An entire Thanksgiving dinner ruined. Thanks IGA!!! nothing worse than a house full of hungry people!!!!!!!!

I think KJ's is one of the best kept secrets in Hephzibah. I live in Columbia County. Twice a week I'll have lunch from KJ's when I'm out this way. The deli selection is one of the best I've ever seen. The food is always fresh, hot and well seasoned. Keep up the good work!

Food is very expensive compared to lots of grocery stores. Store's very clean and orderly. Cashier didn't know what the prices were on 2 for 3.00. I was charged 1.79. When I asked she said she think so. Got home celery was rotten inside.

Friendly staff, eager to order what you want if they don't have it. I had to have the upper blade of the cow shoulder cut the fat off and leave whole it is called flat iron steak and if you cut into steaks (down here in georgia) it is called the chicken steak. No matter how you cookbit it melts in bk your mouth. They order it for me when ever they have it without hesitation.

Went to get some deli meat and was next in line. The young lady told me I'd have to wait til she serve the rest of the customers for the hot food. We got hot food too so why not just slice our meat then wait on the other customers. So we walked out and left the sliced meat alone. Why wait again.
