Delicious food and great view of river and city of Helen from dining area.(pics posted are view from dining area at sunset). We had mozzarella sticks , side salad, ny strip steak , mashed potatos,and green beans (all delicious). It was a little loud which caused some miscommunication, but it was fine and all worked out. Also, had a margarita and it was delicious and made just right. Would definitely stop in again if in the area.

DW ordered the shrimp and ribs combo, I ordered the prime rib. We had a good server, Mike. Our food was prepared correctly and served in a timely manner. The hostess was very helpful and friendly.Their other server, "Ray" needs to tone down his act, he carried on for some 20 minutes with the poor couple sitting directly behind us.We had a nice table by the river and was a pleasant supper overall.

We ordered the filet and the prime rib. We were hoping this was going to be good. However, even though most of it had good flavor, every item was cold. My mash potatoes felt like they were 40 degrees on one side. My wife's beans were the same. Both pieces of meat cooked to perfection and then allowed to be cold as we ate them. Sub par for the price we paid. Hopefully management can hire these servers some help.

We got into town late that evening We decided to check out Paul's because we didn't go last time I got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans My husband got the half the rack of ribs and his sides and everything was perfect It was good We would definitely consider going back here as well. It's the off season so it was not busy we were seated immediately Great atmosphere.

All the good was so delicious with big portions. The seafood platter was so delicious but I wasn’t totally expecting it to be fully fried; however, it was not disappointing at all. The ribs were also really nice and the mashed potatoes with gravy were really good. The prices were about as expected for Helen. The view on the river was lovely. The service was incredible and fast. Overall, the food was so good and highly recommended.

Honestly one of my favorite places that I’ve ever ate at. It’s pricey, but I feel that’s it completely worth it. I got the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. The baked potatoes were fresh and hot with a good taste. The fries were similar and had a good crunch. The key lime pie was also amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I enjoyed coming here many years ago, the food is great. And service was awesome. We had the cajun ribeye and rainbow trout. The steak was extremely fatty, atleast a 1/4 of it was just fat. But the flavor of the meat was delicious. The clams were also quite nice, the juice they were in though was a bit watery and could use more butter. The rainbow trout just tasted like broiled fish.Bathrooms are spacious and clean.Overall good food and service.

Came in for October fest with my wife we both had ribeyes and they were delicious and prepared perfectly cut them with our forks our salads and baked potatoes were great.With it being October fest and a Saturday night it was extremely busy but our waiter was very good he did his best to keep the cups full and asked several different times if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this steak house.

When you get in, is not a hostess , is the manager giving you the best welcome environment, like back in the 50, she means to welcome you and it is not fake.The staff is very heterogeneous, young and adult middle age people, all of them well trained, with amazing smile and knowledge of menu, they are not servers, they are sale person, it feel that all of them own the restaurant.The food is excellent, you will not find it anywhere in Helen. The location is more than perfect, right in the heart of main action in Helen, you can see the river running in one of the site. Also free parking.The restaurant is very clean, and as soon you finish to eat they take away the empty dish from you, music was all the time in the background.All the servers and staff were dressing a conservative casual clean dress with very nice appearance, very professional.Food was served at the right temperature. The price is right for today costs of live. I do not go out if I can not afford it. Everything is consistent great , I did visit 2 times and even different staff except Linda that she is always in there , she should own a restaurant, because she is really on top of her business.

We went during Oktober Fest so it was very busy!! I guess we got lucky because we walked in and were seated right away! The wings were cooked perfectly!! The service was pretty good for how busy they were and for how many people we had at one table. We were glad they allowed us to separate our bills! The atmosphere would have been better if someone (an adult) wasn't popping balloons every 15-30 mins. I still don't understand why they were doing that, but it was super loud and annoying! Maybe that's a thing there, but I didn't like it!

This was a first time visit to Helen and we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. I ordered the filet medium rare and my husband ordered the lobster tail. My was very overcooked (brown all the way though) and his lobster was so overcooked it was rubbery! The mashed potatoes were instant, and the house salad continued nothing but shredded carrots with 3 little tomatoes! Our bill was $142.00 and easily the worst dining experience here!Parking: It will cost you $20 to park at Paul’s. You do get $20 off your meal- but since the meal is crappy and overpriced this is not a consultation!

Jack was an amazing server. The drinks were great. The clam chowder was amazing, it tasted like my great grandma's recipe. However the food entrees were okay. I am not sure if we were there on a off day but for $115 for the food and a couple of drinks, the entrees could have had more flavor. The salmon was not bad, didn't have a fishy tasteor any taste at all, the ribs had no flavor but were fall off the bone. I can not recommend the service enough but I don't think the food was worth what we paid, it should have went straight to our bartender and our server they were outstanding.Edit: I want to clarify that the presentation, the quality,and the portion sizes were worth the price. The flavor just left a lot to be desired.

The food was good, but over priced which is expected for a touristy town though I guess. I will say that the portion on the seafood plate was big, but $44 was still steep. It seems like it should have been around $34, but I also know food cost is rising.Our server was amazing, I hate I forgot his name. He was very attentive, but didn’t hover over us. We did not feel rushed what so ever.I loved our seats with the river running past our window!Parking: Additional parking in back.

This is a place that we visit every time we are in the area on vacation. Over the last 15 years, we have been here many times and I’ve been impressed each time. On this trip, my Mom ordered the ribs and shrimp. The platter was huge! The ribs were super tender. We all had lobster bisque, AMAZING. My sister and I both had the prime rib, cooked exactly as ordered. The staff was very friendly and took care of us the entire time.

We have been here many time but only went to bar area. This is first time at dinner. The foods are great. Prime rib and seared scallops are very teasty. I prefer them over lobster tail. Mashed potatoes too blended for me. Drinks are good and Services is great. The price a little bit high because it's tourist area.Parking: They have parking in the front and back. The back access has to be careful for another car coming because it is only enough space for one car to passKid-friendliness: They have separate area no loud music. Bar area in another side, but you still can order drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Each area is wheelchair accessible.

This is a 50/50 for me. First the good…The trout was delicious and service was great.Bad…stuffed crab app was just stuffing with some old bay. Couldn’t find crab in it. Baked potato was from last night and cold. $36 for a tiny piece of prime rib.I would think with how high the prices are the atmosphere would be more updated. Not very visually appealing or welcoming.I don’t see us going back.

We drove two hours to get there to eat dinner. We ordered our appetizer which we never received and then when we finally did get our food, the ribs were tough and didn’t even fall off the bone like they should have and the steak that should’ve been medium rare was well done I was very disappointed not only in the food, but in the service The server never even filled up our drinks. He was Aware of everything told me he forgot our appetizer, so I’m not sure if we’ll ever go back. When we left, the cashier asks how our visit was and I told her as well she didn’t seem to care one way or another so I’m not really sure why she even asked.

The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge; almost like prawns. My wings were the best I have ever eaten anywhere. The ribs were succulent, delicious and falling off the bone! The Bananas Foster Cheesecake was scrumptious! More food than I could finish eating!Beautiful view of the river. Classy/quiet eating environment; wonderful ambiance! Excellent and attentive service!Features: Tables were well spaced from each other and staff were wearing masks.

Great date spot!! Drinks were tasty and food was amazing and fresh. My bf and I accidentally ordered a bone in fish and our server was extremely kind not making us feel like burdens when we asked for a filet style. The server was an older gentlemen working the closing shift on Valentine’s Day, and he was amazing at his job. Fish was cooked so good it fell apart from how tender it was (a good thing for me) and perfectly crispy. Definitely a spot you need to check out if you visit Helen a lot. (Clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had)

Way too expensive for the quality of food and the atmosphere does not warrant it. The only thing I had that was up to par for the price was the green beans, they were spectacular but if you're going to knock anything out of the park for the price it's gotta be the main entre. We make cheap country fried steak better at home. Use better quality meat come on...Overall a good place but qould not go again when it costs $100 for a couple (accounting for around 15% tip).
