Breakfast all day. Clean, friendly, good food, fried cheese....If you get the schnitzel sandwich spend the extra $4 bucks and add a fried cheese slice. Omg. There's a couple of free parking spots in the lot behind the restuarant. We will definitely be back. The desserts looked awesome. May have to go back just for that. Our waitress was cute as a button.Parking: There are some free spaces in the paid lot next to the restaurant. They are marked with signs.

I cannot wait to eat here again! It was so delicious!! The only tiny thing would be that the fried cheese brie with ham was a tad salty after a while of eating it but that’s fine with me. The spatzel with mushroom sauce won me over! And so did the lovely waitress!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

Located in the heart of Helen, this restaurant did not disappoint with authentic German food. I had a Wienerschnitzel, and it was delicious along with fried potatoes.Staff was super friendly and attentive. There is covered outdoor seating as well.

My wife and I dined here today just to have a light lunch. Overall it was good. The staff were great with assisting on any questions and were very friendly. The food gave us mixed opinions. We ordered the 2 bratwurst appetizer with sauerkraut and that I must say was amazing especially since I’m not one for kraut. It was quite delicious with the bratwurst and spicy mustard. The down side was the fried cheese kabob. For it to be famous fried cheese it was lacking in splendor. It was very bland and overpriced in my opinion. One of the main reasons we chose there for lunch was the “FAMOUS” fried cheese. Regardless overall we had a good experience and would still recommend because the bratwurst and kraut were delicious.

Mmmm, fried cheese.Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Mueller’s on Saturday. We ate inside because the deck was busy – it is Oktoberfest - but our service was wonderful. It does take a little time to get your food when they are that busy, so I appreciated that they had a tent set up outside where you could grab a Bavarian pretzel, a bratwurst or some soup to tide you over until your meal came! I loved how they buttered and salted the pretzel right in front of me, and the sausage had a perfectly crispy casing over the tender meat. They have great coffees, teas, and lemonades. I had blackberry lemonade, and my husband enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte that was as cute as it was delicious. My fried cheese breakfast with cheddar was awesome. I mean, the place is known for fried cheese, so why would I be surprised? I got the cheddar and the light breading on it had so much flavor and the gooey cheese itself was awesome. The potatoes and eggs rounded out my meal. I also got the pancakes which were huge and fluffy. My husband had a chicken schnitzel meal, and the schnitzel was solid, but I’d say go for the fried cheese here for sure!I want to add again, our server was amazing. The sweetest young lady who made sure our glasses stayed full while we waited, and was always charming even while the restaurant was crazy busy.

Very disappointing. The reviews for this place are generally really good. Our experience quite the opposite. At 2p on a fall Saturday we waited just a few minutes to be seated at a table on the front porch (good for people watching). The waitress brought our menus soon after and took our drink order (Mullers has various flavored iced teas and other soft drinks, nothing alcoholic). We had iced tea and it was served promptly. My raspberry tea had very little juice in it. Sweet tea would be a better choice. They waitress checked with us a couple of times until we made our selections and then we took to watching people. It wasn't until we noticed other diners asking about their orders that we realized we had been sitting for 45 minutes. During that time the waitress never to check to see if we wanted a refill, let alone tell us that on Saturdays the typical wait time for your order is one HOUR. When served, the food was not worth the wait. We had better food that was served promptly at another restaurant the day before. I politely told the hostess about our experience. She charged us full price for our meal ($20/person). Do not eat here on Saturdays!

Anytime we’re in Helen, or nearby we make a mandatory stop for a Fried Cheese Kabob. Fried cheddar, fried mozzarella and fried Brie, delicious!! and it comes with a pickle sauce. they offer the appetizer or entree, we always go for the entree and pick fries as the side. We’ve been many times and the waiting time range can be from 20 min to 1hr30 min. Call ahead to know what to expect.

We arrived at a good time (about 11:30 am) before it got too crowded, so we easily got a table. (I chose it because we had to pay to park nearby). The variety of food options on the menu were impressive. I got the chicken stuffed with ham/cheese, cabbage, and roasted potatoes plus a side of the creamy mushroom sauce (definitely try it). My husband got bratwurst, and it was just average. Service was ok, but they seemed slower because of being short staffed.Watch out for prices on special beverages like flavored lemonade - they charge for refills.I didn't have dessert there. Overall, I'd rate it about a B+ for German food, though I think there are probably other (maybe better) options in the area. It was too crowded in the town to really enjoy everything. We walked to a couple shops nearby and ended up leaving Helen.Pictures are outside of the restaurant and around town. I somehow accidentally missed taking pictures of my food.

Had a great experience here! We started with loaded french fries that were topped with cheese and bacon. They were coated very well with the cheese and bacon. The fries were cooked great with just enough crunch with each bite. Our meals were fantastic. Our meal came out about 20 minutes after placing the order. Each meal was fresh and hot. Each one was loaded with flavor! The fried cheese batter was very light and crunchy. The pasta with onions and bacon was excellent. Both soups had great seasoning. The fried cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and pickle was very good to my surprise! (I had never tried anything like that.) Everyone there was very nice and polite. For dessert, 1 of my boys had chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone and the other one had an icecream sundae with vanilla ice cream topped with caramel and cookie crumbles. Both were excellent! The ice cream was soft-serve style. The dining area and bathroom were very clean. I definitely recommend eating here. We will be back each time we visit Helen.Cons: Inside is very tight if you have a family. We are a family of 5. 2.) The bathroom is very small and they do not have a changing table.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated in the covered outdoor area at picnic table style seats. We ordered all three of the fried cheese appetizer and the Cheddar was the unexpected favorite! I’d definitely recommend the Cheddar and ham fried cheese! The schnitzels were delicious as well and we all ordered too much food as they are hefty portions. The only issue was we waited for a long time for our checks and then a long time for them to run our cards and bring them back. I didn’t time it, but it was maybe a half hour from when they cleared our dishes to when we left because we were waiting to pay. I’d recommend asking for your bill early! I’d definitely come back for some fried cheese and probably share an entree with a friend.

This was the best food we had on our entire trip. Would highly recommend this for anyone wanting good food.It was not too busy when we were there and we sat outside. It was a little bit chilly, so I cannot speak to the atmosphere so much, but the food was awesome. This is a must visit on a trip to Helen.I recommend the chicken schnitzel sandwich, the bun was great and the chicken was perfect.

Great place to eat! We went on a super crowded weekend and got there at 1130ish and our wait was only 15min! We got fried mozzarella cheese for appetizer and it was 10/10...so good! My husband ordered fried ham and cheddar cheese/ potato salad and loved it! My daughter ordered grilled chicken salad and it was the best one I have ever tasted..she is 10 and commented how fresh everything was..I ordered the marinated beef sirloin with root vegetable cream sauce 10/10 just the cream sauce and bread could have been a whole meal!! The serive was top notch and they made sure we always had refills and everything we needed!! I added pics but we ate the appetizer before I could snap one of it!

This place is amazing. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. I had fried chedder cheese with ham. Omg it was delicious! They have gluten free too! Gluten free Breading, separate area for making it and a different deep fryer too! Our son had Mozzarella with ham. The other got pancakes. They were kind of thin they looked really delicious he really enjoyed them. Dad got eggs and bacon. The staff was extremely friendly we never ran out of Coffee or water. They also had deep pride brie with him inside of it too. They had a cheese cabab with All three of the cheeses but that didn't have ham in it. When we go back to helen george hall definitely be going there.

It was good. People were nice. We were there for breakfast as it was the only place open on a Tuesday morning. I did not have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised. The potatoes and bacon were delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The "toast" was more like warm bread and could have been toasted more. My husband doesn't like bacon so he had the bratwurst breakfast. It came with sauerkraut it was good, but not something I'd normally have with breakfast. But that's really a personal choice. I would recommend!

We wanted to try some German food while in Helen and this spot looked like our best bet. We made the mistake of visiting during Oktoberfest. This involved a headache trying to find parking and a very long wait at the restaurant. My husband and I shared:- Fried Cheese Kebab Appetizer- Jaeger Schnitzel with Spaetzle- Kaese Schnitzel with Potato Salad- Peach Strudel- Apple StrudelMy top two dishes were the Jaeger Schnitzel and the fried cheese. I loved the mushroom sauce in the schnitzel and you can't go wrong with fried cheese. I think the mozzarella was my favorite so I'd go with that next time.I think they used canned peaches in the peach strudel and I'm a bit of a stickler for fresh peaches in dessert. I probably wouldn't go for that one again. If you're looking for good German food in Helen, I'd recommend coming here. I'd definitely avoid Helen all together during Oktoberfest if you don't like crowds.

This place was definitely worth the quick stop for lunch. Service was great, food was even better. I had the goulash and potatoes. She had the fried cheese dish with a salad. I also had a waffle cone with the mixed swirl. The lady serving us was fantastic and the other lady behind the bar was just as great. Prices were fair. Atmosphere felt very cozy and rustic. We sat in the other dining area on the right side of the restaurant away from the bar. Highly recommend if you're in Helen to eat here.
