Bear Creek Cabins is the PERFECT place to stay in Helen, Georgia. Our family enjoyed visiting the town, but delighted in the enchantment the Gold Miner's Cabin offered. The owners, Pam and Earl, are friendly and welcoming. They made themselves available to answer any and all questions we had. Our cabin was nestled on the mountain and offered something to ALL members of our family (ages 49 to 10). We enjoyed exploring the trails, as well as tubing on the Chattahoochee River. We ventured into an old gold miner's cave and drank water from a nearly 30 ft. waterfall. We rode bikes into town, relaxed by our cabin's fire pit, chased lightening bugs, chilled in our cabin's hot tub, and even made friends with the owners' cat. Our teenagers were thrilled to have access to WIFI and Smart TVs. One night, Pam and Earl hosted a gathering down by the Chattahoochee complete with live music and open bar. We listened to the nature around us while chilling in hammocks by the river. Our kids loved playing the over-sized games and having the freedom to safely explore their surroundings. Believe it or not, everything I have mentioned was on site and FREE to our family of 6. We made so many memories that would not have been possible without all the amazing things Bear Creek Cabins has to offer! Thank you Pam and Earl. We will definitely be back!

Cannot say enough great things about Pam and Earl as hosts! Very helpful and gracious! There were 7 of us and 3 dogs!! We absolutely loved the Gold Miner’s Cabin for our Thanksgiving stay. Lots of hiking, waterfalls, campfires, and walks into town which is really close! Comfortable place with lots of beds. Highly recommend any of the cabins they have.

Best cabin experience ever! The scenery and the other cabins around us were fabulous. Pam and Earl are super friendly, accommodating and made booking a breeze! We absolutely adored the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and family time spent there! Thanks y’all! We hope to be back for summer fun!!!! 10/10 recommended!

By far one of the best places to stay in Helen. Our cabin, Gold Miners Cabin was beautifully air conditioned and extremely comfortable. Plenty of room, we had 6 people in the cabin. The Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, soft towels for the shower and a wonderful hot tub off the bedroom that was covered. There was a table outside for eating along with a BBQ. Pam and Earl are just the best people to work with and I would highly recommend this place for just a getaway or for large groups like ours. I will recommend this place to my friends and will definitely come back for a visit.

We had a great time at Bear Creek in Helen Georgia. Pam and Earl were so nice and they offer so much to do on the grounds. We will definitely be back in the years to come.
