What an amazing place for great food and music. We got to listen to a live band while we enjoyed our dinner, consisting of Ribe Eye and Scallops. We ordered the peach cobbler for desert, wow, so good.We asked to be seated outside, on such a wonderful evening, and the ambiance was just wonderful. Salvador provides us with excellent service, and the entire staff was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, thanks for making it memorable.

This place was really great! We sat outside with live music. Customer service was very good. The food was really good! I really love the pleasant atmosphere. The have a very good menu. I really wanted to try the shrimp and grits but choose the catfish instead which was a great suggestion from our waitress. If you are in Helen, try Cowboys & Angels.Parking: Note that you most likely will have to pay to park when visiting Helen, GA.

While visiting Helen,Ga, for Christmas season, wife's and I ate at Cowboys and Angel's. This restaurant has a number of German meals and we enjoyed exploring the delicious meals! The food was delicious! The Ruben & potato meal was tasty and well seasoned. The service was top notch, and our waitress was very attentive and courteous. It was a positive dining experience... 5 star customer service experience restaurant for sure!

We went for lunch. The salad was great.My husband said the burger was really good. I'm sure this place is packed out on the weekends. We walked straight in order our meal , ate, and out of there in about 25-30 minutes.. We were there on a Thursday around 1pm. You will not be disappointed with your meal.

This was a big letdown. We had been looking forward to trying this location out on our trip to Helen, GA for a while. However, it did not meet our expectations at all.We both ordered steaks and sides. My wife ordered a salad to come out ahead of time. We waited and waited but the salad never came. They ended up bringing us our food so we asked the lady bringing it out about the salad. She said that the bartender should have brought it out before and then just handed us our food and walked off. So we asked the bartender about the salad and she blamed it on the other bartender but ended up bringing it out after we already had our food.Next, they brought us out the wrong sides and had to change them twice to get them right.Next, I had ordered the grits as a side. I have never in my life gotten grits so dry. They were not even edible. Just clumps of dry grits (see picture) Also, the steak was very dry (see picture) and had way too much salt on the outside of it, making it very salty.Overall, for having to spend just over $100 for the two of us, it 100% did not meet the standard for that price. Very disappointed.

We had a lovely lunch here and were thrilled that they allow and welcome dogs in the patio dining area. They brought our pup a water bowl and were exceptionally dog friendly. Every employee we interacted with was very polite and they were well staffed to accommodate their guests. It's a laidback family-friendly atmosphere with a nice menu offering solid options for kids. My 13 year old are the biggest burger of his life here! Lol I really liked the grilled cheese and fries. Everything we ordered was correct, timely and tasty. I can definitely recommend and happy to give them 2 thumbs up.

An otherwise perfect dining experience was called into question when I entered the restroom. The toilet paper roll was sitting on the bar above the holder, which meant everyone would have to touch the roll. Then the hand soap dispenser was empty, and the papertowel roll was just sitting on the counter instead of being in the dispenser. This was shortly after they had opened for the day. Maybe I am too picky, but if you charge 10 dollars for a salad, your restroom should be in good working order.

If you are a fan of chicken and waffles do not miss Cowboys and Angels brunch!!!Seriously, chicken and waffles is something my husband orders whenever he gets the chance so I’ve eaten a lot of it in our 12 year marriage. These were undeniably the best chicken and waffles I have ever had! Not quite sure how they do it, but there’s a slightly caramelized sugar on the outside of the waffles that gives them the most incredible flavor and texture, soft waffle with a sugary little crunch and the chicken was very tender and flavorful as well. The chicken and waffles also comes with an apple butter. I’m all about the sugar so I had a bite with apple butter and syrup and it was amazing.My huevos rancheros were delicious, I don’t think they could’ve been any better, and the house-made tortilla chips that came with were incredibly delicious, but I wish I would’ve gotten those chicken and waffles too because that’s one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth!The biscuits and gravy were also very flavorful. If you eat a lot of sausage gravy, you know sometimes it can be a little too chalky, but that was not the case. With these you get lots of flavor, a great consistency to the gravy, and the biscuits were light and buttery!Our server, Juan, was very sweet and attentive. We ate inside, because the outside was busy, but the covered outdoor deck looked like it would’ve been a wonderful place for brunch in the fall, too!

Very disappointed. I ordered chicken salad with pecans and grapes. There were none of either in the salad so the waiter offered to change my order. I said ok I'll get the crab cake, which turned out to be very good. Then I ordered fried ice cream for dessert. Menu said it was served with a drizzle of chocolate. When it came it was swimming in what looked like caramel sauce with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. I stupidly spooned the sauce over the ice cream only to discover it was highly salted. I wasn't expecting that and it ruined my dessert. Oh and I waited forever to get my dessert, everyone else in my party was finished with what they ordered. Lastly when my bill arrived the chicken salad was still on my bill and the restaurant assumes you are paying by credit card and automatically adds on a fee to cover the credit card fee. I asked the waiter to give me a revised bill minus the chicken salad and the credit card fee since I was paying cash. He said, "I'll have to ask the manager, it's up to her." Fortunately he brought a revised bill and we paid and left. The saving grace was there was a great singer songwriter as our entertainment as part of the current Songwriters Festival going on in Helen.

Had lunch here. Service was great as was the food. Loved the french fries and bison chili. Bathrooms were nice and it was lively sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful sunny day. It's tucked back off the strip so I didn't realize it was back here. Glad we found it! Cute shop next door too - It's Just Peachy Boutique. My only complaint would be the $5 vine ripened tomatoes. They were average and way overpriced.

I had supper here with friends after browsing around Alpine Helen on a Tuesday afternoon. What a great place to eat! The three of us chose to sit inside with the air-conditioning, rather than outside, because it was humid on the patio from rain earlier in the day. I had the Alabama Grilled Chicken & white sauce, with a salad and a baked sweet potato as sides. This was a GREAT choice! The chicken was moist and tender, and cooked just right. The side salad (with blue cheese dressing made in-house) was huge and fresh. I loved the baked sweet potato, which came with butter and brown sugar. I also appreciated the Heineken 0% NA beer...ice cold in a chilled glass. One of my friends ordered the same grilled chicken with asparagus and mac n' cheese sides; while the other friend ordered the Buttermilk fried chicken with fries and corn...and both were happy with their food. Our server was fantastic...friendly, polite, happy, and efficient. The only drawback was that it was a bit noisy eating inside...the music was pretty loud for good conversation. However, sitting in a different spot might have have been less noisy. I'd highly recommend Cowboys & Angels in Alpine Helen!

Excellent food and impeccable service. The Elk Chops were better than the finest lamb chops. The scared scallops were on point as well. Such a good atmosphere and friendly people, highly recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: You can make it into the dining room but it's a bit sketchy.....I'd recommend dining outside under the porch. That's what I'll do next trip and there will definitely be a next trip!

Not a very bad experience, but definitely not one of our best trips here. The air conditioning must have been broken (approximately 80 degrees inside the restaurant), and the noise inside was ridiculous (mostly from the bar area).Our waitress did everything within her power to make the dining experience pleasant. All while pregnant, she earned her tips through pleasantries and determination. She even tried to calm and quiet down the staff and patrons at the bar.The manager must have been on break.Parking: The City of Helen owns most of the parking lots; the minimum pay is $10.00 per vehicle.

What a treat it was when we discovered this restaurant in Helen, Georgia. Fantastic. I had the elk chop which was phenomenal. The appetizer of the scallops with the grits was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Also, a shout out to whoever made the Caesar salad. What a great job. Good atmosphere. Will definitely return.Sorry, my wife had already eaten one of the scallops before we took the picture of the dish

I had the Nudie Judy burger, cooked medium and my friend ordered hers well done, but they both were still moist and delicious. The coleslaw was not too sweet and nice size servings. The air was cool but they have electric heaters keeping the outdoor seating nice and cozy.Parking: The parking fee was $10, but if you intend to spend several hours in Helen it is worth it.
