The owner should be proud of this place. All the food, coffee, and baked goods are made with love. This is a no rush place so if you are in a hurry, skip along. They take time and pride in their sandwhiches. To top it off, you can sit out back by the creek and eat your lunch. After your morning hike, stop here for yummy and relaxing lunch. You won’t regret it.

Top notch cheese spot! We drove from Young Harris just to try the cheese. Went away with 4 kinds but definitely have to come back for more! The ginger mango was my favorite with the Guinness cheese a close and surprising second. Love the mustard we bought as well. It was slightly fruity and very tasty.

Mostly wine. Not as much of a cheese selection as we were hoping. They did have some good options, though. Random assortment of other local products, such as JumpingGoat Coffee. The ham and cheddar scones are great! And the to-go charcuterie boards are a wonderful idea.

We had a wonderful experience at the cheese market tonight. Wonderful customer service. We came about an hour before closing and there were no “take an go charcuterie boards” in the cooler. The staff was more than happy to make one for us and it is absolutely delicious! Multiple varieties of cheeses, meats, dried fruit, olives, pickles, nuts. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch sandwiches! Went for breakfast twice and got sandwiches for lunch to take on a hike - it was perfect! If you're looking to escape the Helen tourist traps a bit go see these nice folks. Good place to grab wine as well. They're on the river and the picnic area looked lovely; if we hadn't been on the move we would have taken food outside to enjoy.

A great place to stop for gourmet sandwiches! I frequent the Cheese Market for iced coffee to avoid the dreaded Helen traffic/tourists. I love that this place is off of the main strip. It is a great place to relax by the river while enjoying a great sandwich and a refreshing beverage.

We stopped her on our way to the falls. This shop is a quaint place with great cheeses options and sandwiches. You can also pick up a few gift during your visit. The staff were so nice. So when your in the area don’t miss stopping by this shop. The view from the patio is amazing with the river and small rapids in the back. The weather was so nice we were able to enjoy sitting outside and eating our food. They have a great wine selection, craft beers, fresh homemade bakery items, and specialty sandwiches.

If you are visiting Helen it is decent place to buy high quality local cheese, sauces, and jam. The price could be more reasonable. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

Traveling to GA from Miami stopped here for some drinks and this was the best stop we’ve ever taken. The pumpkin muffins were absolutely to die for and the hot chocolate was amazing. We came in just before close and the girls working there were still so sweet and willing to help us you guys must come here!! For cheese, coffee, pastries, and old fashioned sodas

This place is a must if you are in Helen. Such a great shop! Great sandwiches, charcuterie boards, good selection of meats and cheeses, coffee, wine, gifts etc. My husband and I stopped for lunch and got the boxed lunches (a sandwich, cookie and chips for $10) and grabbed a charcuterie board and some wine for our dinner later. I got the jammin pig sandwich, he got the Italian.. Everything was wonderful and the employees were so friendly and helpful. Lovely place!

Came for a sandwich before going on a hike - definitely lives up to its stellar reputation 👌 i can't remember the name but I got the beef with a horsey spread - absolutely fantastic. The husband got the pastrami (I think) with pickles and he demolished it in record time. I would recommend upgrading to a box to get the cookie (scrumptious!), and with the chips and pickle spear, its certainly a good sized meal. For the rest of the store, their cheese selection looked fabulous and I can understand why many return here to get their charcuterie boards. They also have some cute kooizes, tea towels, and small-batch products.

The hours for businesses in Helen Ga, are so hit and miss, especially Monday to Wednesday. The atmosphere of the store was pleasant enough. I felt the staff was either distracted or a bit snooty. I would have liked to have been offered samples of some Cajun cheese to see if I liked it enough to actually purchase it. $42/lb We bought a charcuterie board, and we didn't get to choose what cheese or meat we would like on it, so again, I didn't get to try the Cajun cheese. The meat and cheese was okay, but didn't impress me. The olives had an off taste in my estimation. The goat cheese spread with jelly was surprisingly good.

Deceptive name but great classy store selling wines and cheeses. Other items available.If you are looking for something romantic to buy for a date on your cabin trip to Helen, I recommend one of the boards. Check the store out, the surprises alone will be worth it.Plan to surprise the wife with a fancy gift.

I purchased some fabulous cheese here (a strong, creamy swiss and a Guiness cheese) and wish I had purchased more, since I'm now home and far away! The store is lovely with a really nice selection of gourmet cheeses, wine, deli items and baked goods - and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely return when I come back to Helen and highly recommend a stop here if you like cheese or are a foodie/wine lover.

I have been to this store on two separate occasions a year apart. I'm pretty sure the staff is the same two that I encountered a year agoStill not very helpful on cheese varieties, very limited stock. In past trips to Helen I have always had the opportunity to find great cheeses. Very disappointed at the staff's unwillingness to assist me with any recommendations. They did not seem well informed about their products that they sold. Despite the fact that They had a cooler go out earlier this week and will not be repaired till next week. They were still very unhelpful as for me finding a decent cheese for what I wanted. It was more like they were trying to rush me out the door and be done serving customers. This is not my first time in this store with this treatment. But I can promise you it is my last. I will search for what I want in other places. They could not even give me a recommendation for a substitute. And they could not direct me to another store that may have other cheeses in the area.

This place is incredible! Freshly made to order deli hot or cold sandwiches with a variety of breads and cheeses. Plus they sell ready made Charcuterie boards, honeys, Pimento cheese, fresh baguettes and premium crackers for picnicing or snacking.

Friendly staff decent selection of cheese they will have tastings for you if you never tasted the particular cheese before you buy. They have boards with cut up cheese and meats so if you want to have a picnic anywhere in the area. Good wine selection beer. And you have to check out that old Honda motorcycle that's now a flower pot

Really great sandwiches. We went 2 times in a few days. We got Italian Stallone and Ham & Cheese Box. They were the best sandwiches I've had. They also have baked goods, chips, pickles, bottled soda, wine and more.

We go here every time we come to Helen. Great food and great service. The staff are really friendly. And like I said great food. They also have some unique gifts available. We go to Helen often and this is our favorite place for lunch.

I have been wanting to stop here for awhile and today I finally did and I know I’ll be stopping here more often. Cute store with cheese, wine and more. I ordered the the medium charcuterie board and my husband and I enjoyed it so much! You can see how delicious it looks and it was! Very friendly service! If you’re in the area please stop by. They have sandwiches and baked goods I can’t wait to try it all! I will be back!

Stopped in to see what they have. Some local goods and some standard tourist fare. Nice folks. I grabbed a sandwich that was made to order and it was quite good.
