The service is the owners leave you alone. The rooms are cute and cozy if you are an animal lover.PETS WELCOMED! Pet beds, dishes, treats, poo bags and walking areas provided.Check out is 11:30 and guest clean up duties are minimal. Everything is posted in the rooms. We did a ton in Sautee Nacoochee which was only 15 or so minutes away. Also, very close to Helen downtown. We had an easy drive to Dahlonega as well. The property is chained off, so there is not turn around traffic coming close to your vehicle. Wheelchair accessible ramp, though the rooms are small.Satellite TV. AT&T service was minimal. Verizon much better. Beautiful little brook with board walk to the side and around the back of the housing area. We'll be back ❤️

Cute, quaint little place hidden away from the crowded hotels in town and expensive cabins in the parks. My dog loved his goodie bag! He thought the black lab statue was a real dog at first, which explains the look of uncertainty in his face 😂 but I assure you he had a wonderful time! Room was clean and welcoming. They even provided a nice doggy bed or a sheet to place over the comforter if your pup sleeps on the bed. For it being a dog friendly place, there really wasn't a bunch of hair left from previous pups which was nice. Not even a "dog" smell. Unfortunately, my friend stepped in a huge pile of dog poo as soon as we got out of the car, but the owner doesn't stay on site, there's no lobby or anything, and you're out in the woods, so it's not the owner's fault... just watch your step, and chalk it up to being out in nature! There was only one other couple staying there, so we just assumed it was from one of their dogs. Cute table to eat at, clean mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and even a hot plate in a little kitchenette. Towels provided. Definitely secluded, but we enjoyed it that way. We still had cell phone reception, so it's not like you're totally cut off if you had an emergency. For $75 a night and being able to have your pup with you, (and most importantly, being very clean and cozy!) it's a great little place! It looks small from the outside, but the room was actually very spacious feeling, even with all that was in it! Still close to downtown Helen, and Unicoi Park, but without all the tons of other people around. Owner simply asks that you dump your own trash, which was understandable. There are several convenient places around the state park where you can use their bear proof trash bins. Did not see any roaming wildlife while there, but again, you're out in the woods, so know it's possible. Definitely bring a flashlight to walk your pup at night. We had a great stay! Would definitely like to come back next time I'm in Helen.

We loved our stay at Biscuit Inn! The room was much nicer and roomier than the pictures led me to believe. With vaulted ceilings, gorgeous wood throughout, and cute decor, the Lucy room was still big enough for our family of 7 (2 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs.)The beds were comfy, the towels were fluffy, and our dog (Biscuit) seemed to think the dog bed provided was lovely. It was close enough to Helen to be convenient, but far enough to get the peaceful easy feeling of being in the woods. Biscuit & Hazel especially loved mornings on the back deck and inspecting the nearby creek. We had a wonderful trip, and will definitely return to Biscuit Inn when we come back to Helen.

Great place to stay just outside of (the craziness in) Helen.Rooms are clean & comfortable with dog beds, treats, front & back porches, mini kitchen. The pet theme is cute. Our room also had a fireplace which we didn't have the time to use since we were visiting family in the area during most of our visit.Easy to get to, right by Unicoi State Park & Anna Ruby Falls. We hiked the Raven Cliffs Trail which is a nice 4.8mi riverside trail with several waterfalls outside of Helen; busy on Saturday was the only downside. We would happily return - recommended ✔️🐕🐾🐈🐾

My wife and I stayed in the Rocky room for 3 nights with our 3 large dogs, the room had plenty of space for all of us. Our dogs loved the dog bed and the homemade treats that were provided. Debbie was very nice and accommodating and recommended a lot of great restaurants and places to see while we were visiting. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.

The biscuit inn was a wonderful stay. The cab im n was clean and spacious and offered a beautiful back porch. It's a short drive to many of the local spots such as restaurants, waterfalls, state parks, tubing etc.The cabin we stayed in 'cookie' had a bathroom with a spacious shower/tub and the small kitchen with everything but a stove. There was a portable cooking burner in one of the drawers tho. Our cats had a wonderful time. The only aspect I wish the cabin had was a fire pit. Otherwise it was perfect.

Gourmet dog treats were left for my Great Dane Thor. There were dog bowls and a dog bed ready and waiting. There was a fireplace, a jetted tub and a small private back porch that made the human stay just as nice as the K-9 one. The Biscuit inn is also very clean and conveniently located to other areas of interest near Helen, Georgia. Also there are no restrictions on size or breed of Pet and the owner is very easy to work with and a great communicator.

We have been coming to the Biscuit Inn for 7 yrs and can say this is the best place to take your pets, and be in the beautiful GA Mountains. The biscuit Inn is always clean, wood burning fireplace, tv, good phone service, and gourmet treats available for your dogs! Also you are close to all things outdoors, and Helen is SUPER dog friendly. Many restaurants and wineries allow well behaved dogs. It's the perfect place for us.

My wife, dog, and I decided on a Fri to make a spontaneous trip to Helen, GA and stayed in the Cookie Room at the Biscuit Inn. From the start, the online reservation process was unclear and we actually made the trip not knowing if we actually had a room. Spoiler alert: we didn't. Debbie was quick to correct the issue and let us know that her process isn't meant for same day trips. This wasn't mentioned on the website, but crisis averted. We agreed to come back after dinner so the room could be readied. We returned to a room that was heavily deodorized to the point that it was hard to breathe. We didn't sleep well that night. Both of us woke up early in the morning with headaches and heavy congestion (ie, blowing noses every 15-20 mins). I originally assumed allergies or maybe it was the beer we had at Oktoberfest, but by morning the room deodorant had worn down and you could smell a dankness mixed in the air. We knocked out most of to do/see list by noon. With the thought of another sleepless night, we decided to pack up and leave early. When we arrived home and started unloading, we noticed the dank, mildew-y dampness had followed us home, attaching itself to everything we had brought: clothing, luggage, our dog. It was at this point that I felt confident that us not feeling great was due to something that was in the Cookie Room and I let Debbie know why we left. I was told that it had rained a lot recently and that allergies are common. I felt a little put off. I'm not the first reviewer to mention dampness in a room there. It seems this issue could easily be resolved by getting a dehumidifier or at least some damp rid containers, instead of masking the issue and it being the cause for someone to lose a night on their weekend away. It's a shame because it really is a quaint, kitch-y spot and it's so close to town and Unicoi.

My wife and I have been coming to the Biscuit Inn for years! We've had the pleasure of bringing with us all types and sizes of our four-legged fur babies, from an 85 pound Boxer down to a 10 pound Chorkie. And if you have canine companions, there's no better place to stay! The rooms are SO clean and cozy! Each of the four rooms is named after a beloved pet, and tastefully decorated with dog lovers in mind without being tacky or kitchy. A lot of planning and thoughtfulness went into creating this hound haven!Speaking of thoughtfulness, when we mentioned that we would be bringing our current trio (as our previous duo has since crossed over the Rainbow Bridge), we had a special treat waiting for us: Three little bags on the dining table, one for each of the dogs! Generous sized, and filled with homemade dog friendly cookies and treats! How great is that!?!The grounds are very well maintained. Plenty of space in the parking lot. There's even a little "potty patch" across from the inn that's super convenient for those late night calls of nature! It's conveniently close to Helen and the various attractions, yet far enough to be quiet and cozy. Seriously, everything about this place is just right. It's a welcome relief to be able to come to such a warm and inviting venue, and be able to not only share but actually enjoy it together with our pups. To not have to worry about kenneling, or having to make special arrangements for dogsitters, or wondering if they're being cared for in a way that is acceptable for you (and especially what they're used to) is such a weight off of our minds. We can ALL relax and enjoy our vacation, together!Coming back here and remembering times past with faithful friends that have gone before us, as well as making new memories with current friends is priceless. And it's comforting to know that we are going to be able to do the same with future friends.Bottom line...? If you are a dog lover, and Helen is where you want to visit, the Biscuit Inn is the ideal place for your family.UPDATE: 6/24/19 Just had another three-day weekend at The Biscuit Inn, only this time we were able to share it with another couple of friends of ours! Last visit we stayed in the Rocky room, and this time we stayed in our old favorite the Cookie room. You would think that four adults and three small dogs would be a crowd, but we ALL had a terrific time! The couple we were with said they had no idea such a wonderful place existed in Helen. And if they had, they would have been coming with their two little dogs years ago! (Sadly, their two dogs have gone over the Rainbow Bridge, but they will keep this place in mind for the future!)Oh, one last thing: When we got there, and were unpacking, my wife looked at the Guest Book that each of the rooms has, and saw that Miss Debbie had found and displayed a postcard that we had sent over THREE YEARS AGO! I had written it like a thank you letter from our three dogs, ages 3½, 3, and 1½ back then. SHE HAD REMEMBERED! That was SUCH a wonderful surprise! And we were able to tell stories about past visits, and which dog did what, and OH it was just so very thoughtful!Miss Debbie, thank you SO much for that. Even though it brought tears to our eyes over some of our fur-babies who have gone on, it was refreshing to see someone who cares about our boy and girls almost as much as we do.

We loved our two days at the Biscuit Inn! This cozy cabin in the woods it's just down the road from Unicoi State Park. It had a nice kitchen at with coffee maker, jacuzzi tub, king size bed, and even provided a bed and food bowls for our pet. We recommended highly and hope to come back soon.

Perfect for pets and their owners. Dog theme decor was awesome and the fresh baked dog treats were a hit. The beds were not super comfy, but tall ceilings woth fans and the small kitchenette were prefect for our needs.

Nice cozy place to have stayed for the Aug. 21, 2017 solar eclipse. Just a short drive to Unicoi State Park which I think is one of the nicest parks in N. Georgia. Nearby is Helen, Ga., which is a Bavarian-themed village, but it can be a little busy and hard to park on popular event days. Our precious housecat strayed outdoors after midnight and we were worried that we'd have to leave her behind to survive like a wild feral cat in the rugged Appalachian mountain woods. The following morning, the housekeeper (Debby) went out of her way to help us find the lost cat. Talk about pet-friendly!! How many other hotels will let their employees personally care that much about their visitors? Our 17yr old. dog, senior and aging, turned back into a puppy for a short time here. It enjoyed the little steam out back and the whole trip was reinvigorating for all. Do visit this place if you need a nice quiet vacation. Who doesn't these days?

Room was adorable and comfortable. The kitchenette was very handy. Room was a bit damp feeling and could use more ventilation. However, it did rain a lot which could have contributed to the dampness. I am unfamiliar with the area so I don't know. Overall stay was wonderful. Our dog loved the doggie cookies. Will surely be returning! Thank you Biscuit Inn!
