The service was friendly however, the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. My son-in-law's pizza arrived cold, and when he returned it, it came back burnt. Our waitress apologized because the kitchen didn’t make us a new one, and just sent us back the burnt one. My daughter's fish and chips were raw and my husband's burger, while edible, was only a 6 out of 10 due to poor execution as he said. We appreciate the waitress apology, however, the overall experience was disappointing. We hope the restaurant can address these issues in the kitchen to ensure a more consistent dining experience for future guests. I’m sure this is due to the holidays, and the kitchen staff being overwhelmed with the number of orders. My goal is to provide informative and honest feedback that can help the restaurant improve, while also helping potential diners make informed decisions.

Good little bar/grill with American style food if you’re not into the German food in Helen. They have a huge outdoor patio where live musicians were playing on a Sunday.The breaded fried shrimp tacos were excellent!!! Packed with shrimp and cole slaw!! Not flimsy like most restaurants. I was so full I could hardly eat my side of waffle fries. Says it’s spicy but it’s not.The waffle fries and Cheese Burger was so good as well! Generous portion of fries came with it!

There was nothing wrong with this place, it was just average, nothing special, nothing bad that's why I gave it 4 stars.I got the Perdro burger. It was good. The meat had a good flavor but the menu said it was spicy, it was not at all. I had onion rings, they were very good, and a large portion.My husband had wings with raspberry jalapeño sauce. The sauce has a good flavor but not spicy. He also had waffle fries. They were good and a large portion.They have several beers on tap, but we stuck with domestic beer.The pricing is very reasonable. We haven't eaten for that little in some time. Two meals and three beers for under $50It was a very cold day when we went and we sat outside, they have the outside seating fixed to where it's nice and toasty, not cold at all.Overall, it was a good dining experience and I would and will go back the next time I go to Helen.Parking: We parked downtown Helen and walked to eat. There is a parking lot but honestly, I don't know if it is free.

Casual restaurant with good food. He got the specialty burger with blue cheese on it. It was HUGE and had a homemade bun. He upgraded to onion rings. They were delicious. He said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I had the small pepperoni pizza. It was thin crust and pretty tasty. They also had a live singer.Kid-friendliness: You can eat in the covered deck outside with kids to make life a little easier.

Fried green tomatoes 🍅 were some of the best I've ever had. Chicken and Waffles were good. Waffles were airy, not dry, a nice crunch on top, and batter flavor was good. The syrup was perfect as it wasn't heavily sweet but enough to compliment the meal. Chicken was double fried and big portion. The grits were top notch! They were creamy, rich, and delicious. The gouda cheese on the grits was top quality as you could not taste any saltiness. You could close you eyes, eat it, and you would not realize your eating cheese. The peach barbecue sauce for Chicken Clucker was great with a hint of spice. We will definitely re-visit.

Looks like a tourist trap, but actually has spectacular food!This place totally surprised me.Blu Cheese burger - the best I've ever had. Juicy beef cooked exactly medium-rare. Great bun, ton of cheese, generous bacon. I'd eat this every day and never get tired of it.Fish and chips - biggest filet of fish I've ever seen (see pics) . Great breading and great tarter sauce.Waffle fries - perfect. No goofy seasoning, just great fries.Taco Salad - well seasoned, can't go wrong with this. Better than most Mexican restaurants.Waffle & Eggs - excellentMac and cheese - kind of bland. White cheese, but sauce was a little thin.Service from Chris was over the top.Highly Recommend!

Great food and lovely ambience. The calamari and chicken tacos were great. I got the half rack of baby back ribs and they were tender and juicy. My kid got the pizza and it was good. Their portions are large and they also have a full bar offering all types of cocktails and beer. Definitely recommend this for anyone traveling to Helen and the surrounding area. Wait times can be crazy so plan ahead — we got there at noon on a Saturday and got a table for 6 immediately. Cheers!Update on 11/21/2023Family visit where we got the blackened chicken tacos, fish and chips, kids Alfredo pasta. Everything was delicious and quantities were HUGE and wholesome. Looks like they’re doing a great job consistently!

1-30-24 update. Still great burgers!!Update: Tried their wings today and found them average. Nothing great about them I'll stick to the burgers and pizzaVery good pizza and burgers. Both get a 9. Prices are good and they have a lot of staff. Booths inside are all around the bar. Setting outside is very nice

Ok......let me start off by saying if you dont see a picture of anything im about to mention, its because it was gone before I could take a picture lol.To start off me and my girlfriend took a day trip to Helen, Ga and we haven't had the GREATEST eatery experience since we've been here.Now that that's out the way...the food......RIDICULOUS. Like AMAZINGLY ridiculous. I got thr honey bbq baby back ribs and when I tell you.....FALL OFF THE BONE BRUH. THE BEST ribs ive ever tasted in my life and I eat ALOT.My girlfriend got the Alfredo......she hasn't spoken to me since the plate hit the table. So she's locked in.....I hope I can drive home....10/10....service by Matt, GREAT!!!!! EVERYONE is friendly and nice and recommendations are TRUSTWORTHY. If you hungry, eat here and only here. I cant believe it. I haven't even finished my food I stopped halfway to type this up real quick (swear on my life).Sooo back to it, THANK YOU FOR THE EXPERIENCE

Huge group, almost 65 people on our group, it took a while to get seated and served but worked out at the end. Huge servings per person worth the price!!Parking: First around 30 cars, side Street with spaces also. Did not see a handicap spot when we got there due to heavy rain, ran into the outside room.

Loved it here!We went on a Saturday in July and it was extremely busy with a wait of approx 40 minutes.Once inside it was full and the staff working extremely hard to get food out in a timely manner. Food and drink did take a little longer than what we would expect but the staff were extremely apologetic and the food was definitely worth the wait.We had the cheese burger and California blue burger and they were the best burgers we have had since moving to America. The meat was very thick and cooked to perfection.We will definitely be visiting again!Parking: Plenty of free parking

Really enjoyed our visit here. It was a bit of a wait, but we wanted outside where the live music was. It was a little hard to give order being close to the music speakers, but it was fine. Food was great! The burgers were cooked well and we're delicious, the nachos were great and flavorful, and the margaritas were perfect. Will definitely return again if we are in the area again.

I'm not impressed, to say the least. There aren't many options in run-down/overpriced Helen. This place was terrible. I ordered a medium rare burger. It came cooked to death, so I sent it back and ordered a bowl of chili. The chili was actually surprisingly good. My wife ordered chicken wings, and they came swimming in a pool of butter. The waitress and Brooke agreed it was an insane amount of butter. Our waitress was new, and she was amazing and had better customer service than I guess the ?manager? Brooke. I don't know if she was, in fact, a manager as she never introduced herself. The waitress had to give me her name. Once we complained about our food and had remakes, Brooke acted like we were garbage unworthy of her time or good customer service. It's a shame because my wife's remake wings were actually tasty, but it's because it's drenched in MSG crystals. Needless to say, I won't be back... probably won't be back to Helen as it has gone way downhill, and it's extremely overpriced. Good gracious, Bigg Daddys! What an awesome dinner!We spent the weekend in Helen for Oktoberfest, and were excited to find Bigg Daddys was open a little later than a lot of dinner places - you can get food there until 10 o’clock. You can eat indoors or outside. They have a really great covered deck with live music some nights. Inside there are several TVs so you can watch the game if you prefer.The Appalachian smoked trout dip we had as an appetizer was perfection, I would’ve ordered two and just eat it as a meal if I knew how delicious it would be! Loved the little flat bread rounds they served with it - so much better than a simple cracker.I had the Towanda burger. It was enormous! Also completely delicious. Cooked just right and I loved the goat cheese and fried green tomato on it. I went with Gouda mac & cheese for the side and wasn’t disappointed - the bowl of pasta with a smoky, creamy Gouda cheese was awesomeMy husband had the Georgia Clucker chicken sandwich. Also enormous and so delicious with peach barbecue sauce! His waffle fries were great too.They’ve got an impressive bar with some great Bourbons, like Weller and Blantons. Plus some fun fall cocktails on the menu right now – I had the fall margarita with cranberry juice. It was great.Our server TJ was attentive and friendly even though it was a very busy night. Everybody at this place was working hard and on their toes.I want to mention, the price is right too. You can’t get this kind of food for this price at a lot of places. We were pretty impressed when we got our bill! Thanks for a great meal, we will certainly be back for more!

We had very good service here. The Fish and Chips was great. I loved the waffle fries. There was a good amount of food. The Chicken and waffles was a little mixed. I didn't like the waffle. Maybe that is what a Belgian sugar waffle or whatever it was is supposed to be. I was kind of looking forward to a regular old waffle. This was more like a cake doughnut. The chicken and the baked potato was very good. The "salad" was not very good at all. It was all dark outer leaves. They were quite bitter. It was reall y just a bowl of lettuce. Not hardly a salad. They have a great menu. I think I would like to try something else sometime. The table was still dirty when we were seated.

Stopped by Big Daddys after tubing. It's further outside of the main strip and we did not feel like driving in all the traffic and it was over 90° out so we didn't want to walk far. We had an early dinner. Probably around 330/4 pm. I was so glad we went early bc it was PACKED when we left. When we got there they said we would be waiting 30/40 minutes. A party of 10 left so we got in, in about 20 min. The inside is small, warm and packed. The patio is larger with fans. Not too bad. But we ate inside and my kids were still a little warm. All the food was amazing. We had a party of 5 and got burgers, chicken wings and pizza. I would definitely go back!

If you visit Helen, Big Daddy’s is a must! They have some of the best boneless wings I’ve ever had. The hot honey mustard is *chef’s kiss* and I literally crave it. I also always get the waffle fries smothered in their homemade cheese sauce! It’s absolutely delectable. Also, if you bring your Paul’s Margarita Deck big yellow beer cup, they give you refills for a cheaper price!! It’s the perfect casual wing spot in Helen, after a long day of exploring, drinking, and tubing the river. It’s our go to spot every time we visit!

Oh yeah, mama, this was a good stop. Hot, fresh food and a Left Hand Nitro stout made this a really enjoyable experience. Good day!I had the fried fish tacos on corn tortillas and they were massive! Light crust, hot fish and, with added hot sauce, spicy enough. I also had the regular chili, which was also good, but a little too sweet. Nothing the hot sauce couldn't overcome, though.Waiter suggested fish and chips ("chips" in England are large, meaty fries) for my mom. The chips are actually waffle fries, which my South African mother couldn't resolve, so she substituted for coleslaw, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Portions for everything were good for the price. She got a box... I did not 🐷.Definitely recommend this place. We're here in the off-season, so but busy at all. Hopefully, quality doesn't diminish when it gets busy.It's across the street and a parking lot from the river. View of mountains, etc. add to the atmosphere. Nice!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up into patio area.

The fried green tomatoes were delicious! The Texas Chilli was delicious as was the baked pasta with Alfredo with beef and spinach! 😋 The Salmon was delicious! The spinach salad was delicious! Garlic bread with cheese was delicious! Service was good here as well!
