My husband and I went for lunch while in Helen earlier this month. We love having sushi and discovering new places and are SO glad we found this one! Everything was so good and our server was so nice and helpful. The only note I'd say is that the spicy sauces weren't as spicy as we're used to for sushi, but it did not take away from the experience.We had the Spicy Tuna Baskets as an appetizer = super fresh and delicious! Then we enjoyed 2 rolls = Eruption and Princess of Dawn. I had the Eternal Orient drink and loved it, too.We look forward to returning there to try some more food and rolls in the future. I highly recommend it.

The food at Bangkok Haus is excellent!! Lot of options for vegetarians/vegans. Our party had Pad Thai, Mamsaman Curry, Green Curry, Veggie Sushi, Spring rolls and Basil wrap and fried eggplant. The basil wrap was so tasty, even kids enjoyed. All the items was a hit with our party, the sushi was consumed in minutes. The fried eggplant was a little disapointing. The Sake -Koji hot sake was awesome. All over very healthy food options. I do wish they give bigger plates specally for big family group where the party may share the items.Vegetarian options: Massam curry, Basil wrap, Thai Green curry, Spring roll, Veg sushi

Pretty darn good Thai food! You add your own level of spice from a caddy brought to the table. We had the basil rolls and massaman curry with white rice. Servings are more than big enough. Table seating was comfortable and spacious. Service was friendly and fast. Plenty of free, off-street parking. Steep flight of stairs at the entrance.Vegetarian options: Vegetable-only is one option for all their entrees.Parking: Free, spacious public parking lot right in front which is shared with one other restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant. Children are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Very steep flight of 20 steps at the entrance. There must be a ramp, but we did not see it.

Delicious meal in Helen! We often get the same dishes when we go out for Thai food so we are able to compare place to place. This was pad see ew and panang curry with chicken. Our only mini complaint was that the green beans were quite crunchy in the curry but that did not deter from a delicious flavor and overall experience. Would absolutely order these dishes/visit again if in the area!

This place has a great selection of fresh sushi and Asian dishes. Excellent staff, excellent bartenders and excellent food. I will be back! Friendly and delicious!Vegetarian options: There are more pescitarian options than straight vegitarian but they still have quite a few options!

We came to Bangkok based on the good reviews and I can guarantee they are totally correct. The food was very good. We do love it. Adam was the one who took care of us and he is awesome. We had a very friendly welcoming and he checked on us if everything was good. If you are looking for a good place to eat in Helen, Bangkok is your place. Also, you will enjoy the ambiance with good music playing on a perfect tone to allow you enjoy your table conversation as well.Vegetarian options: There is a delicious mix vegetables stir fry that you can choose with no protein.

After enjoying enough German food in Helen, we decided to try Bangkok Haus for something different, and we very pleased with the food and service. Our server, Taylor, was helpful and made some recommendations. We chose the sweet and sour chicken which turned out to be one of the best we ever had, with a crispy delicate coating and a sauce that was perfectly light (not thick and gooey). Our tempura battered sushi roll was also great. We shared both entrees and enjoyed the combination. Our only regret was that we were leaving Helen the next day and couldn't enjoy another dinner here.

This place is so good. Definitely a must visit spot. Not too oily at all. We loved the veg spring rolls, fried rice, green curry, thai basil fried rice and lycee rita in drinks. The ambience is amazing and we went days before Christmas so the decorations were great. The food was so fresh and delicious just go here without any second thoughts. Portions are good enough and their service was great. Lots of parking space in front.

My daughter and I stopped by for an early dinner mid-week. The service was impeccable and very attentive. After having a couple terrible meals in Helen, our expectations were low and we were very happy that the food here was incredible! I had the veggies with shrimp, and there was enough for two people. All of the veggies were fresh, and the shrimp were huge. My daughter chicken and noodles - she really wanted bean sprouts mixed in instead of what was on the menu, and they happily obliged. Our soups were fantastic!

4/5!After walking around Helen for the day, a friend and I decided to stop by Bangkok Haus to try. It was odd seeing Thai cuisine here in the woods of Georgia, so why not.The Food: Since we weren't as hungry, we opted for some sushi and an appetizer. For the appetizer, I went with the "Crispy Calamari". And for sushi, I went with the "Spicy Tuna Roll" and the "Double Eel Roll". Surprisingly, their sushi was pretty good! The fish tasted very good, I can tell it was of some quality. The rice to protein ratio was perfect as well. I'd definitely recommend ordering a roll if you like Sushi.The Service: Service was great! Staff here are friendly and attentive. Even while we were outside on their patio.The Atmosphere: Restaurant was nicely decorated. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a nice and clean resturant.Overall, a 4/5! Definitely recommend giving Bangkok Haus a try! Sushi was good, staff were friendly. Next time I'm in Helen, I'll be sure to stop by again and try their traditional Thai food.

I’m saw this restaurant on Facebook. We live an hour away in NC. We’d never been to Helen,GA so why not go check it all out. We get to the restaurant and were greeted immediately and friendly. Our server was very nice. We ordered the Basil Rolls and the Spicy Tuna Baskets. Both were really good! Then we shared the Shrimp Pad Thai, Samurai Party Roll and the M16 Roll. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back but probably not on a weekend night ( town was packed). If you’re in Helen give them a try, we weren’t disappointed! Even after the hour drive from the mountains!

The workers were friendly and personable offering good recommendations. We ordered for take out and the food was ready quickly. We have tried Thai food in many places in the world and the food here is among the best. We took our family here for their first Thai experience and they loved the food. The food was delicious with good depth of flavor. We also really enjoyed the sushi rolls.

The food was absolutely amazing. We had calamari and crab rangoons for appetizers, and both were delicious. I highly recommend the Iron Man roll if you like something with a little bite. The bagel roll is also worth getting. It melts in you mouth. Service was top-notch. If you are looking for something delicious and different in Helen, definitely check this place out.

Would 10/10 recommend!!! Everything was sooooooo delicious and the service was excellent! We got the fried calamari, which was crunchy and cooked perfectly! The Chicken Satay which was also good; the sauce tasted like peanut butter. The drinks we enjoyed were the Lychee Mojito and Lychee Rita (would definitely recommend if you’re a fan of the fruit). Pineapple chicken with brown rice, super delicious and moist! Garlic Pepper Beef, probably some of the best we’ve had in a long time! Please visit! Would definitely recommend and visit again!They also have a service charge of 3% if paying with credit card. They encourage to pay with cash, check or debit to waive the fee.

A local favorite! We have had dinner at Bangkok Haus on several occasions and we have never been disappointed, The staff and food quality are top notch. Whether we have appetizers, Sushi or one of the Thai dinners or all of the above it is always excellent. This restaurant is our once a week ( at least) go to for dinner. Nina and her staff have done an excellent job with Decor and they even have piano music on weekends. You won't be disappointed!

We've been to many Thai restaurants but this one had notably good food, and much better than some others we've been too. I didn't know what to expect in Helen where you think of German or tourist food. They were a little short on staff but we would definitely go back for the food and wanted to take time to give a good review! Our waitress was really nice too even though she had a lot of other tables to wait on.Parking: We were tired of walking and were glad to be able to take our car and park for free

I had dinner last night at Bankok, and enjoyed every bit of it! I came with a party of 4 and were greeted and seated right away! The staff was very friendly and helpfully suggestive to food recommendations. Alex made it an absolute joy to dine in! I ordered red curry with chicken and it was delicious!! Id also recommend the Lobster roll- it comes in a martini glass with fried lobster bites!

Was looking for something other than German food after a few days in Helen. First, the food was DELICIOUS & we have ate a lot of Thai/sushi. Food arrived hot & in a reasonable time. Also, the service by Evan was superb. He was polite & attentive. He actually greeted us before the hostess as he was heading to another table. My fiancé & I agreed his service was stellar (& my fiancé never says that 😂). Would recommend!! We sat outside to enjoy the fall weather.

This delicious Thai place is just off the beaten track of Main Street in Helen. We had 5 in our party who wanted different levels of spicy heat, so the waitress offered to bring over a spice rack with 3 different sauces. We tried them all and they did bring some heat! My cousin raved about the Mongolian Beef. I had Pad Thai with tofu and it was delicious. Will definitely go back next time we visit Helen.Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes with tofu options and also plenty of vegetables on the menu.

Wonderful new restaurant! When I went inside at opening time, there were no workers nearby and the one who saw me after a minute took her time to get off her phone before a nice greeting. We sat outside for lunch, with an ever smiling helpful server waiting on us, who also brought water for our pup without having to ask. Everything was fresh, visually appealing, and extremely flavorful. Good portions. Lunch under $45 with tip. Looking forward to return!
