Wow, what a selection! We stopped in for some German beers - of which we have tried many - and ended up finding some we had not! I was super impressed and, seeing as how there's no true supermarket right there in Helen, going in here was a blessing for our low-key day while in town. We got lots of good beer to drink there and take home.

What a great experience! Huge selection of craft beers. We swung by here last minute just to check it out and got to pick up a couple bottles of bourbon that we cannot find at home. The gentleman who helped us was super helpful and very knowledgeable about everything in the store. Next time we're in town, we'll be back!!

Best and most knowledgeable service anywhere. The owner turned my husband and I on to some new bourbons, which are fantastic. You want Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare or EH Taylor. Alpine has best prices I’ve ever seen

A must stop whenever we are in Helen, and sometimes we make a special trip just to shop here. They have one of the best, if not the best, selections of German beer in Georgia. The service is fantastic and the staff always friendly and knowledgeable. I find a rare gem every time I come here. If you come to Helen for Oktoberfest, Christkindlmarkt, Fasching, or any time of year, don't forget to stop by Alpine Bottle Haus for some wonderful German beer to take home.

Great view of the river while you eat. Service was some what lacking. A bunch of teenage (or it seems) workers it seemed. It took at least 15 minutes for the first waitress to come great us and take our drink order. The food did come our quick and was very good.

Best of all the lowest prices in Helen. The other liquor stores have a larger inventory on beers and wines; however, with regular spirits they have all major labels for less. Plus the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beware of credit card surcharge. SMALL print on front door among many other signs. I nicely suggested to the cashier that it would a good idea moving forward to letting people know before ringing them up. She told me there was a sign on the door. She was very dismissive and not open to my suggestion. Bottom line I will never shop there again. Poor business practice.

I went there to see if they had any NA beer from Athletic breweries . They had one kind so I bought it and mentioned that maybe they should get a few more varieties from them . Well , it's 3 weeks later and they have 5 or 6 different products by Athletic and one is Octoberfest , not even available to members of Athletic Brewers ! That's great service

It’s a liquor store that is not over priced. Do I really need to say any more than that???Only comments I would add to explain the missing star is around selection. The beer selection is okay, but if you are going to have a German Bier selection then you need to have more than 2-3 bottles of each kind. Plus was shocked that none of the German bier was in the chiller. Just felt like a big miss.One other item was that the liquor area was very disorganized. Just felt tossed together which made it tough to find what I was looking for.Final note is that the two ladies working when I came we’re beyond sweet! Seriously would come back just to see these two amazing ladies again.
