Right off the strip and overlooking the river, this is an open and airy place, lots of tables and the best seating is a bar running its length along the river. The Mozzarella sticks were very good. The Alpine Burger was excellent, cooked to perfection on a soft potato bun. The house salad was a good portion, add the chicken, it’s worth it. Angel was the server and deserves a shout out. The place was clean. FYI The middle of April is the perfect time to visit Helen. Not crowded, perfect weather, very calm.

My husband and I travel 2 and a half hours from home just to enjoy this place and atmosphere. We were asked if we were locals, and we are not. Both times we have been we felt at home and was acknowledged, recognized,and most of all welcomed. We both absolutely will be back and can't wait for our next visit . Stopped in for a quick bite, and ended up staying a few hours lol. Josh was awesome and suggested the perfect IPA! The deck also overlooks the beautiful Chattahoochee River. We had the best time. Thanks Alpine Brew Deck!UPDATE: we had such a great time, we stopped by 2 weeks later on our drive back to FL. Brandi and the staff REMEMBERED us! What an exceptional place. Stop in to visit Brandi- you are in excellent hands. (Don't listen to the other poor reviews- not the experience we had)3rd UPDATE: We stopped by to see Josh again, and tried the wings this time. Chef Dillon made the most incredible wings. I asked for hot and boy did he deliver! I wish I lived here now. Make sure you stop by and visit Josh. He will make you feel like a long lost friend or family.

My husband and I stumbled on this place while on a weekend getaway in Helen. We were walking and of course the karaoke caught our attention! We spent Friday and Saturday evening with the Alpine Fam and when I say fam I mean just that!! The staff, especially Sara the bartender and John the karaoke host treat you like none other than family!! The only bartender I know that can mix/create drinks while singing karaoke! Truly had a blast! ❤️

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Tonight 0 bathroom. Told to walk 2 blocks up the street, which I believe is not ADA compliant for an establishment serving food and beverages. Was told I'm sorry we can't put anything on TV's inside or outside while this was playing on all TV's. Sooo many better places to spend your money!P.S. across the river, at Pauls, they had live tv and football playing, allowed us to use their clean bathrooms, and watch their TVs with no contingency to buy drinks or food. Spend your money there instead!!!

The food served at this place is quite ordinary and uninspiring, nothing worth writing home about. However, what's disappointing is the abysmal customer service. Our order was messed up, we received the wrong dish, and even after requesting a fish dish, we had to change our order as the staff seemed clueless. We had to repeatedly call out to our waitress to get her attention for a refill. Honestly, if you're looking for a pleasant dining experience while you're in Helen GA, I would highly recommend avoiding this place altogether. Literary garbage for $240.

The Alpine Brew Deck is a must go to in Helen! My spouse and I came here both nights we were in town and had a blast! We came after dinner so we weren’t able to try the food but it looked and smelled delicious! The service here is top notch and it just feels like you’re sitting on someone’s back deck at home having a good time when you’re here. What brought us here the first night was the sound of someone singing “Dance Monkey” on kareoke from across the bridge. The woman singing it sounded so good, so we followed the music and when we arrived, we were surprised when we saw it was the bartender behind the bar singing it! After the song was over, I introduced myself to her and told her she had a beautiful voice which led me there! She laughed, smiled and thanked me for the kind words. Her name was Sara Alexander and she was quite a star at the Alpine. Watching her sling those drinks as she sang her heart out was incredible to watch! She took very good care of me and my spouse at the bar as we partied with the locals & sang kareoke ourselves. By the end of the night, my cheeks were sore from all the smiling and laughing! So, we came back again the next night and definitely plan on coming back to Helen to see Sara and the kareoke crew again soon.

A nice atmosphere with beautiful views of the river. Beer is cold and service was great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the pretzel bites - for the price you didn’t get very many at all. I had pretzels at several restaurants for the same cost but got a lot more pretzel (it is definitely not shareable).

The service was good. The food is way over priced for what you get. $18 for a basic hamburger with tater tots. We were a party of six and everyone ordered something different. Our food arrived within 10 minutes of placing the order, so you know the food is not cooked to order. We were offered tater tots or homemade chips with our meals. Those who chose chips were charged an up charge which was never mentioned.Vegetarian options: They offer a veggie burger with tater tot’s for $18.

Nice laid-back restaurant with good food and cold beers, the wines were so-so though. Lots of vegetarian options even though they're typical tavern fare. If the riverside taverns we checked out, this one has most vegetarian options.Come here for the location and spend some time relaxing listening to the river flow and sip your beer - watch time slow down, watch people walk by the bridge, lights come on during the evenings. I suppose people tube by during the warmer months, that would be fun to watch as well.

Great pub with a deck overlooking the river. Beer, cocktails and pub food at reasonable prices and great location. We went after Halloween when Helen lights up for Christmas, and even this whole place was lit up beautifully. We sat up late having fun without even realizing the hours go by.
