I really want to like this store. They have done a good job with the building but it feels like the shelves have never been stocked and they have not been fully staffed. Usually just see one or two over-worked employees. Every time I have shopped here, they have not had what I was looking for. They are like 0 for 5. I don't bother stopping here anymore.

No more than 5 shopping carts and no hand carts. How are you supposed to shop?? Definitely not a super market when you don't have anything to put groceries in. Hawkinsville dollar general is the only store like this. Ashame

Always friendly service, could be organized a little better due to trolleys being filled with inventory.. Feel they should hire a stock crew part time when the truck arrives and maybe get it cleaned so that the cashier can stay in their area to work, usually a line gets long due to cashier stocking shelves..

The employees are great, except for Kevin. He's always following darker colored humans around the store. The store isles are occasionally so junky you can't push a buggy or carry a cart down the isle.

Store feels dark, dirty, cluttered. I don't know if this is due to age of store or because the isles are ALWAYS (on any given day) filled w/large merchandise carts. It makes shopping for specific items difficult. Additionally, they never open their second register, "never" not being an exaggeration. It just collects dust & more clutter. Its an eyesore. I can't under any of it really, because its one of the staple stores in our whole town, second only to our 1 grocery store & a Walgreens. Such missed opportunity.

The employees are great but the store itself is just mess. There is always stuff in the boxes on the floor in the way. And the employee cant put it up because they got to be the cashier and the stocker too need more than one employee working.

Its a hot mess all the time . same mess everyday as it is froze in time. No one greats you and no one cares if you come back . employees they have no customer service skills at all. There is no organizing skill involved at this store. It is the worst dollar store I've ever been to!! And I 've been to many of them in the southern states. Theres a dollar General every 2miles where Iam from.

Cluttered isles dirty thru out lack of employees long line check out at front door. Needs rearranging. The poor guy at the register was very hot and doing best he could but people were complaining some leaving items and carts because they couldn't wait. We really need a marketplace. This town only has a Harveys groc and Walgreens pharmacy..

The manager Danny is always outside smoking and fussing with his girlfriend. When he is inside she is up there and they are more worried about talking to each other than the customers when he is on the register. This stores customer service is very bad. Needs new management.

Always a mess, the store is absolute chaos with things lying around in the aisles to the point where you can barely get through without tripping. If you're going to buy food, CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES!!!!Many many times I've arrived home only to discover the food was out of date - BY MONTHS EVEN!!

Sadly, the store is never stocked. If I go to get 3 things, usually only have 1 or 2 so I put it back. If I have to stop at Harvey's to get the other thing, I might as well buy it all there

I like DG, the convenience and the product selection is what I like mostly. Oh, the prices and customer service is okay. I shop with them even if I am traveling.

This place has came a long way! Used to be dirty and nasty but new management has really turned it around! They try to keep everything in stock for their customers and if they don't have it they will try to get it. As long as the DC will get it they will give it. Staff will always try to help as much as they can...

This is a Dollar General...it is what it is. It has a good selection of pretty much everything. And besides, you don't have to get dressed up like you're going to Walmart.
