I told an employee thank you after my purchase and she ignored me. This is not the first time this same employee has done this.I am always friendly to the associates bc I also work in the customer service field. Give better customer service or find a different field please.

As far as Dollar Generals are concerned, this is a nice store. New, clean and well stocked. My only gripe is that 75% of the time I go to check out, the cashier is out in the store stocking shelves and have no idea I'm waiting to be checked out.

I travel from Atlanta to the cemetery at Crossroads Baptist Church approx. 4 times a year to visit my mother's grave. I normally stop here for drinks, snacks, flowers/decorations for the grave, and to use the restroom since this is the only place between 85 and the cemetery.For the past 3 years, when asking to borrow the restroom key, I have been told that the key is locked in the bathroom and that no one can get in. So, after 3 years, I have gotten the message. I now drive past the cemetery to Walmart in Hartwell where I purchase my needs AND go the restroom - no key required.I have notified corporate of the "locked up" key issue and hopefully someone there can contact a locksmith since obviously the management here hasn't.

Cashiers didn't leave a lasting impression, but they were nice. Store was tidy and orderly. Only complain was the terrible smell outside the store, which isn't anyone's fault.

Dollar general in Martin is always good. Very friendly. I know all of them on first name basis but I have been shopping there over ten years. I live right down the road from there.

Store is always cluttered with boxes in the aisles. Service is nice but slow. Their card reader frequently messes up and freezes the register.

Redneck Walmart, as my brother calls them. They spring up about every 20 miles. Carry name brands, much easier than going all the way into town for basic items. Milk, eggs, bread, cheese, cereal. Snack's, drinks, batteries and cheap clothing and doodads.
