As I sit here and read reviews I'm not understanding why this store is getting such bad reviews, because this is the best Dollar tree that I've been to in my area! Every time that I've been to this location the staff has always been polite,warm and willing to help. When I visited other Dollar trees in my area riverdale, jonesboro, Forest park, Fayetteville those stores are always so junky and dirty and the staff look at you like you stink or owe them money or something .

Elizabeth was by far the worst cashier I’ve ever experienced. She didn’t speak, I had to speak to her. She didn’t have a friendly demeanor. She was very unprofessional and rude. I’ve never visited this location before and I hate that I did. She clearly doesn’t need to be in customer service.

I'm not sure what it will take for the District Manager to come in this location and put an "Action Plan" together to get this store off the floor! I can only assume by the lack of customer service and the unpleasant shopping experience that there is not a Store Manager in place. If there is, shameful!!! Its very easy to complain about this location.. From service, to rude cashiers, and nasty floors to unconditioned and unrecovered aisles. The list goes on and on. What I would say is hire " Happy People" the store can be fixed, but nasty attitudes and a filthy demeanor is what cannot be fixed! It starts with the management, they must hire right the first time and train and develop on customer service. Not sure if the budget does not allow the hours for Recovery or if the scheduling is just completely off during peak times. But the store looks horrible. They need help quick. I will go 20 miles out to the next Dollar Tree before I visit this location which is 2 miles from my home. If there is a store manager in place this store has to be completely overwhelming for him or her and as a consumer for us to continue to spend our money here, it starts with the people, we have to replace the people. Otherwise the results will remain the same.

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever !!! On 8/23/22 at approximately 1900 hrs I completed my purchase with Cashier Bridgett when she became argumentative when I inquired about Lysol Wipes ringing up for $5.00 when there 2 signs in front of the wipes stating they were $3.00 a bottle. She stated to me in an aggressive tone that they were $5.00 so I then stated to her that they need to remove the sign & she said to me that is not her problem. I then stated to her you are very rude & you need to work on your customer service & she replied no I don’t .Let me inform you I have worked in Customer Service all my life & never have I behaved this way . This type of behavior is very unacceptable.

It is disgusting how I just watched an employee cuss out a grown woman. All she did was ask her to PLEASE DOUBLE BAG. The manager did nothing at all!!

A slightly frustrating visit today. As I'm checking out the cashier has not greeted me, she's steady speaking with a customer she has already checked out and when she done ringing up my items she fails to inform me of my total cause she's busy talking to the other customer. It wasn't polite and very aggravating although I know we tend to not focus on customer service these days. Robots would definitely be better to deal with.... sadly

So disappointing 😞 the mgr Michelle such a my daughter went and I was on phone my daughter was trying tell her they had they stuff n wrong place n it got out hand when the mgr came across the other cashier register trying fight my daughter and try make her left when she was trying me on phone saying how rude the mgr was and we going call her corporate office and she didn't care and she try call police when she was wrong my daughter had picture and everything stuff was n right place I told my daughter that lady don't want loose her job trying fight u don't b scared of no one and u have freedom of speech if she felt type way don't take out of customer when customers right u can Cleary see the arm hammers says 1.25 not 5.00

This store was very unorganized, Junkie and not well stock. In need of some employees 🙄 the cashier need to attend customer service classes 🤔 know skills as for customer service I think that maybe they need to be reminded that when customers walk through the door we make pay checks that is the rude dollar tree employee i have ever come cross i was in line with maybe 10 or 12 people a person that was waiting for the supervisor because this particular cashier was no longer able to take debit cards or credit cards, so a customer had to inform us that we needed cash to be in that line. Meaning we had to put things back because we only had a debit card. Fix this please and thank you.

Polite service. I prefer to drive to the Lovejoy location because they usually have for options. Sure enough they had everything I needed to. A little messy but what dollar store isn't cover with stock. Well stocked. Great fast friendly service. Thank you

Lost my order/Unprofessional/order stated it had arrived and I had until Oct 26th to pick it up before it was returned! The clerk kept stating that it wouldn't be un til the 26th despite the email and even told me I couldn't have gotten a message for pick up b4 I drove 30 minutes to get my items! Ended up calling corporate and they offered a refund- didn't know where my stuff went even though shows it was delivered to store!

I came in on 3/21 and had the WORSE experience with a cashier named JanaydiaShe looked like she was already unhappy with life and miserable... She was very rude and lacked customer service, maybe she was having a bad hair day because it did look a mess!!! Anyways she made my experience unnecessarily difficult all because she doesn’t know how to COUNTShe became upset with me because I simply wanted my exact change back, she made a big deal about a 5 cent difference 🤣🤣The manager came and asked what happened and finally gave me my little $1 but it was just the principle at the end of the day🤷🏽♀️ Janaydia made this location look really bad and I don’t plan on returning any time soon because miserable people like that unnecessarily making things difficult when they don’t have to be

I feel like family Everytime.I can be dealing with complications from finances, up to just the proper customer service and this location is by far one of the best Dollar trees I've ever visited.they have a variety of things that is kind of hard to find at other Dollar tree locations.

Dollar Tree was exactly what you would expect. Everything is a dollar and as long as you understand that you can't go wrong. For example you can go buy a box of sandwich bags or some cookies or a cup. Just all kinds of things and you are good. But don't go in there thinking you can buy tools or anything else like that. If you buy a screwdriver and it's not for a glasses repair kit that screwdriver will break on any tough job. As I said as long as you understand what you are buying it is wonderful.

They need a management change ASAP! It is always a mess when I go there and they always are out of stock with what I need. But I don’t think they are out of stock, I just think it is because stuff is still on boxes 📦 that need to be unpacked and put in shelves. They must have a high turnover and not enough people to do the job. You gotta pay people living wage money so you can get some good employees and managers. It having a major affect on your store’s brand, Dollar General.

Dollar Tree is one of my go to stores. I'm always running in there to pick up little things I need, like candles, makeup wipes, and body wash. So the store will never get a bad review from me. I really like the staff at this store, they're super friendly. I guess they are used to seeing me!

This particular store wasn't as clean in Lovejoy, Ga., as the Dollar Tree in Mcdonogh, Ga. However, the products are the same at the great price of $1.00. It's a great store to find things that you pay more for in every other store. I'll continue shopping at the Dollar Tree Stores. Now, I must add that the customer service was very good. Nice personality's which always makes spending your money there feel better.!🤔🤗

Found everything that was needed. This is a good place to shop when you have an empty apt. The attendant didn't even give any type of attitude when we approached with a full cart. He was very fast

I am normally very pleased with my service at this particular location; however, on last Sunday 2/18/2018 I went into the store to retrieve some items for a baby shower i was set to attend. The cashier was extremely sweet and customer service was not an issue. I slid my card to pay for my items and requested $20 dollars cash back. The cashier handed me my receipt with no money. I stepped over to the side because I realized she hadn't rang my cleaning spray and to also recheck my things for the 20 dollars. I go back up to the register before ever leaving out the store and tell the clerk that I didnt see the 20 dollars. She goes to tell me that she did give it to me and she knows she did because that was the only 20 in her drawer. I dont carry cash and only got the 20 dollars to put in the card I had just purchased. I have been going back and forth with management for three days. I am pissed and want my money.

I went in to purchase some last minute Father's Day cards. I didn't expect to find too many but they were fully stocked with cards😊 and very nice cards at that!

Messy, stock on the floor, in boxes on carts, shelves are empty. I've never seen a store in this shape ever. Idk who the district manager for this store is but I can't beleive they let it look like it does. If you can get past that it has the usual Dollar Tree stuff. Only one cashier but she was very nice.

This Dollar Tree location is excellent, right on Tara Boulevard in Lovejoy. I stopped in for some greeting cards which they did have and 2 for $1 which is amazing. They may have been under staffed, looked a little dis-sheveled but it is time for Christmas shopping.

I’ve been shopping at this store for over 10 yrs and they desperately need a new manager. Went in to this store this afternoon and it was very nasty, junky, boxes everywhere. And the manager looks like he has a hang over every time I go in this store. You have a lil lady name Mrs Carol who is not freindly at all . They have 1 cashier open while the rest of the employees are unpacking boxes. They only had 3 sodas in the fridge on the left lane, a shame. I rather drive to the stockbridge store before I keep coming in here. And last but not least they always have a sign saying no cash back on the pos machine key pad. Get new management and this store could make a complete turnaround considering the traffic of people coming in on a daily basis.

I entered the store and there was a huge yelling match between the manager and a customer. I proceeded in the opposite direction. As I was about to check out, the manager by the name of Michelle violated my personal space in a rude and condescending manner stating that I could not purchase more than four bottles of alcohol unless I was a cancer patient! Why would I have to share my personal illness or the lack of in the front of the store in front of approximately thirty people just to be able to purchase alcohol? Michelle took it upon herself to ignore COVID-19 and violate my personal space while yelling. This incident could have easily gotten out of hand. Not only does she need sensitivity training, she is in need of some form of managerial courses so that she knows how to properly handle customers along with any questions, problems or concerns that they might have. There is no way anyone should be "birddogged" in this manner while shopping in this establishment. The environment is very tensed and hostile to say the least. This matter should be addressed as this is not the ideal way to treat customers.

Dollar tree in lovejoy is excellent.have had no problems.sometimes they may be under staffed and the line is long but that happens.outstanding hospitality.store is clean.sometimes clutter builds up but thats customers being careless.i shop at dollar tree alot and appreciate the hard work.it means alot.thanks.

Sometimes this store is good sometimes it bad. But lately when I’ve been going it had been HORRIBLE! They have these looooooooong lines and when I got to thgo register FINALLY she says I don’t have any cash back. You should’ve been said that or at least had a sticker on the keypad that has no cash back. Every freaking time I go in there it’s a long line or they don’t give cash back.
