Puppy Club

Our club raises guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs on the GA Southern campus. We take all of our puppies here for medical and veterinary care if/when our puppies need to see a vet while we’re down here for school. The staff is so nice and the doctor is so accommodating when she sees our puppies ASAP for any problems! We’re also so, so grateful the clinic bills our guide dog school directly instead of us having to pay out of pocket for services. We LOVE Dr. Rese and staff!! (Pics were taken by one of the staff members when one of our little puppies got very sick. The staff is so sweet!)

My dog ripped off a toenail, it was dangling and bleeding. From the time I called them, I was in the office in 10 minutes and we were leaving the office in 15 minutes. They took great care of him, fixed the dangling nail, gave him medicine and we are home now. Dr. Reesie and the staff are wonderful and very caring.

Dr. Rese and Dr. Nicole were so kind and helpful when my cat’s health was declining that led to me having to put her down. Dr. Nicole went above and beyond and helped me outside of her business hours to keep tabs on my Poppy Seed. And Dr. Rese was so knowledgeable and straightforward when it came to giving me all of my options with Poppy’s care. Forever grateful to these doctors for treating Poppy like she was their own in her final hours.

Dr. Rece, Dr. Nicole and staff have provided care for our pets for many years. Our fur babies have always received high-quality care. The loving care given to our handicapped fur baby was phenomenal. Everyone was so compassionate during her illness and death. Our babies love their vet and staff.

Terrible experience today. You pay all this money and you don't even see the Vet do anything. I ask specifically that i want to be present when the Vet examined my dog because he is very scared and came from a kill shelter. The assistant took my dog and then after about 15 - 20 mins waiting for the Vet, she came in and spoke with me for about 5 mins. Don't even know if she even touched my dog. Then she left and never came back. After waiting for about another 10 mins. I got up and walked out and went to pay the over a hundred dollars...finally the assistant come out with a medication that i was not sure if i even needed. Terrible service. What a waste of time.

We just moved to town and needed a new vet for our dog. The staff was very welcoming and sweet to our lil girl bulldog. The vet techs were great with attention to detail and getting a deep history to make our file. And Dr. Herrington was incredibly through and explained everything she did as well as provided some health tips so our dog can live her fullest. I would highly recommend Guyton Animal Hospital to anyone looking for veterinary care.

I just got home from our vet exam and found information incorrect.First error was a statement about puppies from over 2 yrs ago. That has nothing to do with these puppies. Second error, was their age was stated as 6 weeks, when they're actually 7 weeks old.Third error, they thought my puppies were from July so the birth date was wrong.And I was told I would get a discount for the litter exam, but they forgot to mention that didn't include the cost of the shots! So the bill was much higher than expected. Plus, they give the shots to my puppies in another room, where you can't see what's happening....I'm not too happy with the whole process or the cost. Because I expected it to be 72- cheaper.I guess now I know what to expect!***3 days after posting my review, I received a letter from them stating I'm not welcome there anymore due to my dissatisfied....as if I would ever come back!?

All of my pets both past and present have been patients here and they're great. Recently I had to put my beloved rescue down due to old age and a week later I recieved a sympathy card signed by everyone. They were also super sweet and compassionate on the day I put him down. Great people, great place would rate 20 stars if I could!!

I do not know what I would do without Guyton Animal, everyone here is kind ,loving, and gentle with my Fur babies , I have never known anyone who knows animal medicine like these girls and guys I'm blessed they have saved my animals lives time and time again 🙏 bless them all for everything they do even on their sad days they have compassion 🙌.

we have been bringing our dogs here for the past 7 years and have never had a bad experience. The prices are very affordable and everyone is so nice. The visits are always quick and painless. My chocolate lab gets so excited when we go in because he loves to see everyone.

I oversee a group of guide dog puppy raisers and our college raisers at Georgia Southern in Statesboro take their pups to Guyton Animal Hospital for their veterinary needs. Not only is the staff knowledgeable and capable, they are also flexible, kind, and do great follow-up care! I have been so impressed with the care at Guyton that I've actually had my own animals in there for care, mostly recent for my cat for her spay surgery. The techs, receptionists, and vets are incredible and we are so fortunate to have such quality care available for our pups!

I have to say of all the Vets I have ever used Guyton Animal Hospital is by far the best ever! Dr Nicole has always been so kind and caring especially when it came to putting down my 14 year Old Yorkie! They gave me time to get my husband there and for us to say goodbye!
