Store Manager Lady Kantina is a awesome asset to Dollar General. From my dealings with her and staff/manager I feel like I'm shopping amongst friends. I sometimes get to loud I feel so comfortable. I reign it in. I enjoy each and Everytime I visit. I can remember a time when store felt like customers/employees were sour... Having personalities of a door knob. Now we are greeetted with happy smiling employees.... Changing moods literally.... Great job!

Their hours are never accurate in the past few years I've been attempting to shop here. They are now temporarily closed due to a fire and it doesn't say when or if they are going to reopen. This particular store looks like they're always stocking. I only ever see one employee working at a time. I imagine they're pretty stressed out trying to handle the entire store by themselves.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This specific location is absolutely horrendous. I went there tonight looking for something and 1) they didn’t have it and I asked someone about it.. they said it was in a different area than what it should be in and completely refused to check the back when I asked nicely 2) It looked like a bomb went off. All the shelves were messed up. There was boxes everywhere and the store wasn’t organized at all. If you need something I would suggest Walmart, Aldi, or if your near the 863 Louisville Rd dollar general one then go there instead. It will save you some stress.

Wish I could give Zero stars! No one is ever at the register, EVER! We come here when we just can't go anywhere else, same issues for a year or so . I understand if you stock while waiting on customers, leave a bell or something to be notified. They see you in the line, they will continue what they are doing in back. I wanted to leave $6.00 on the counter and leave for my $4.00 product because it took her so long! And when she finally came to rang up the items, she walked outside behind the next customer , to smoke .... while customers are still in the store. I wouldn't be surprised if their inventory was waaaayyyyy off .

Can't give it zero stars, right? Lol...prices were almost all wrong and the manager (he said he was the manager when I asked) on the register said he couldn't change the price to what was posted on the shelf then basically recommended repeatedly that we cancel our transaction. Made him ring up the items that were ringing up correctly knowing he hated every moment of it... Lol. Will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Good job "manager".

The managers on duty always seem so stressed & definitely don't like it when they have to be on a register. However the rest of the people who work there are warm & personable which makes up for the rough demeanor of the managers. Perhaps the managers are overworked so I can't really fault them if they appear put out when they have to stop what they're doing to help out. All in all it's a nice, clean, & organized store.

I go in here quite often and several employees are nice enough (not as friendly as they could be). I just left out of here and the manager was rude and acting like she just didn’t want to be there. While I was checking out she acted like she got mad when some other customers walked in. Then she was getting aggravated because I wanted to put my phone number in for digital coupons. Needless to say, I never got my number put in because she kept leaving the register to do other stuff while checking me out.

My bill is always due on the first of the month and I'm never in town for the first so if you are one day late they will charge you $10 and if you are 10 days late they will cut off your water and take 3 to 5 days to turn it back on and and cost you over a hundred $100 extra dollars, and if you pay early, they won't move you bill to a later date. And also pay with checks or ATM card, never pay cash, because the "convenly" forget to give you a receipt, and claim that you never paid them, more the 2 employees were fired for stealing the money from residents and had their water cut off and they said nothing they can do about it because there was no proof, evan though people were fired for that!!!!!!

It's a dollar store... i suppose that for a dollar store it's 5 stars? but it's a great place to get a cheap item, and i do like the change to how they handle the line to the registers. So, if you live near it and need a basic, cheap item, or happen to be driving near it, you can rest assured that it will have the standard dollar store stuff that you've come to expect from any dollar store you've ever visited. Unless you're used to unfriendly staff. These ones have varied between apathetic to friendly.

Recent Operations have been poor with Misinformation about operating hours. Rude response to calls about whether open to find store closed 🔒 upon arrival. Management is obviously not on board and responding to customer base.Problem is the same at numerous..locations

Limited availability but more convenient than a grocery store. Some items just don't need to be there like seasonal decorations and household decor. Trying to have everything makes it look junky. Difficult to maneuver a shopping cart.

This place was so rude. I went to get drinks and some snacks and they wouldn’t take my cash and should’ve had a sign for no bills higher than $20, and I asked for a certain pack of cigarettes and they gave me the wrong kind. She was rude and said no exchange or refund. You can exchange a pack of cigarettes anywhere else. The manager is so rude and condescending.

I go to this DG regularly (every couple weeks or so). They usually have what I need and helps me stay out of Grovetown traffic. Easy access from Ivey Falls subdivision or Columbia Rd. The line can be long sometimes but it moves pretty fast. Most folks coming through aren’t doing a whole bunch of shopping which helps. Parking at this location is better than the one off of Appling-Harlem Rd.

I'm handicapped, so I suggest: A few chairs at checkout for "relief" while waiting. Also, rain in parking lot drains to the front door; Customers must "wade" through inches of water to enter automobiles. And would be a real plus to provide some kind of awning so customers could load purchases and enter auto staying dry.
