I want to share that I went the other day ,everything looked so good prices wasn’t that bad ,they had snacks drinks and etc I spoke to a young lady and young man on the floor. I'm pretty sure her name was net or rnet and I don’t remember his but he was very shortBut she’s was as sweet as can be ,they were talking to me and I felt like I belonged in this Store ,it made made me feel so special ever time I go in to shop there, I will be finding them again thank y'all for making my experience 10/10.

It was a big store and very clean, well organized, on the day I visited. The pricing is wonky and, in my opinion, too high for used toys. $10+ for a child's floor piano that was in poor condition is too much. But I could find a Dr. Browns working bottle warmer/sterile in good condition for only $8. Doesn't make sense.

There are SOME good deals at Goodwills, like a desk I got that I made look nicer. But they are starting to go way too high on pricing. These items are used! Some retail stores sell this stuff NEW for the same price.

To clarify my review. The place just looked old sorry and filthy. Somethings need to be trashed and the prices were not fair. I love to thrift shop a lot and being new to Griffin this is one spot that close to me and I just don’t see myself coming back here. I’m sure it’s good but not got me. Could be improved.

The new store was great today! Packed with people and great finds. So thankful it’s back open.

The prices have REALLY gone downhill:Whoever has been in control of pricing since the start of the year needs to be let go. Most of the prices I've seen since the beginning of the year have either been at or above retail pricing ($30-50 items priced at $60, etc). One of the most ridiculous examples I saw of this was a pack of jute twine that you can get at Dollar Tree for $1, priced at $4. There used to be good deals to be found here. But until they get their prices under control, they definitely won't have my business.

Despite shortage of workers, they are doing a great job of making sure the customers are having the best experience possible!Associates are friendly eager to help.. Fresh merchandise added to the sales floor all day, every day! Great Job!

The prices have gone way up at the Griffin location. If you want better pricing then you might want to give the Goodwill on Eisenhower in Macon a try. I just got a good bit of stuff at much much better pricing than the Griffin location. So apparently it's only the Griffin store that has the crazy high prices.

I love goodwill but it seems Griffin, ga. Goodwill is too high on prices. This is free stuff but they try to make a killing on it. Also they haven't opened the dressing rooms and the bathrooms stay closed. Some people have health problems that needs a restroom. People have to stop shopping because of the high prices and no restroom. It needs to be looked into.Thank you

This Goodwill has absolutely lost their mind when it comes to prices. No used stuffed animal should be $9, I dont care if it is Mandalorian. I think this corporation has forgotten that they get their items donated to them for free. They have little plastic toys that should cost no more than $1 marked to 3-4 and in bad condition. The store itself is dirty, bathroom seems to always be out of order. Associates don't acknowledge you when you pass by them. The prices alone are enough to deter me from shopping here because they're often above retail. Do pricers not do research???

IF you've been to the goodwill before you pretty much know what to expect, some are better than others. This one had pretty nice stuff and was very neat, clean, and organized which I appreciated. Also the staff made announcements letting you know what color the discount tag color was for the day, and when they were bringing out new items. The line also moved quickly. All in all, this is one of the better goodwill stores.

Great store. Close to home and lots of goodies. Only complaint is that price stickers on dishes and such are placed over the maker on those items. Please dont cover this information. I see stickers half pulled off because folks are trying to see the maker. Thanks!

Guy outside was so rude when I was dropping off stuff. I’m a Army vet with 3 combat deployments and a firemen and he talked to me like I was his child. We left and took our donations somewhere else. Great stuff too and very clean. I won’t be coming here ever again.

I'm a senior and know for a fact that every Tuesday seniors get a discount. Shopped at several Goodwill stores today and didn't have a problem with them. This store refuse to give me this discount with the yellow tags. Goodwills prices are too high and I prefer not to pay full price. The management is very unprofessional, don't care and with the yellow tags anyone can get this discount. Arguing with someone over used merchandise is not worth it. More training should be provided to each employee especially management. 5 years employed with them still don't get it...

Utterly shocked and disappointed by the outrageous prices! Like is this a joke? I have been thrifting since I was a teenager and never have I seen a place who receives free donations try to take advantage of the public like this store and let me remind you, this one location. The McDonough Goodwill is affordable and what they would have for $20 Griffin would have for $100. It’s sickening. Who in there right mind would price used stuff that high? It blows my mind and makes me embarrassed that my home town would be the worse thrift store in the nation when I’ve been to more than I can count in almost every state you can think of. Do better! My God, management or whoever is pricing this stuff should be embarrassed and go work for Nordstrom’s!

Three stars for being neat and tidy. Prices are way too high for used clothing. I used to buy multiple items at Goodwill, but found I can buy new clothing for a fraction more on the sale rack at Kohl's or Walmart. If you lowered your prices just a little bit, I bet you would make more profit by selling more merchandise. I have spoken with various people and they all have the same opinion on the prices.

Went to a goodwill in the greater Atlanta area and got a real coach purse for wife for $14.. This store however had a knockoff coach $31.99.. So yes prices could be a lot cheaper. Just to add went into store today found a picture we both liked and it was $29.99.. the original price online new was $24.99. Thanks but non thanks.

Lord someone please give the real loud cashier a bonus or promotion, something. All the way in the back of the store you can hear her nasally yell “Excuse me Ladiiiiieeeessssss I will be right with you all in a moment, thank youuuuuuu” and that’s just for the 2nd customer in line 2 feet from her. I dread going to the register when she’s there. Makes my ears bleed. Store is pretty nice though. They for real need more than 1 cashier and really don’t need a greeter/mask police doing nothing but stealing oxygen. Just my observation.

I have traveled all across this great country of ours many times back and forth up and down. However I am from Griffin Ga born and raised. It is my hobby to stop at every goodwill and thrift store I possibly can.I take no joy in saying this is the worst Goodwill I have been to in my travels (which again are extensive) in the country. Hands down and with no competition. I have been to Goodwills that were more expensive…. However they actually had great stuff and they still realize that it’s a store for poor people to shop at and will still let good deals slide on toys, books, clothes ect. Sure other stores will not give treasures away( silver, gold) but they certainly let children’s toys and books go to poor people who cannot afford them. It’s incredible how low the quality of product… how big the store with great influx of free merchandise to them and yet day to day there’s nothing new on the shelves. The warehouse is as big as the store. They are so expensive that people openly talk to each other…. Strangers… to talk about how expensive it is. Others just shake their heads. Again I take no joy in leaving bad reviews and in fact this is literally the first one I have ever left. What’s crazy for those who don’t know this area..it’s dirt poor. Do yourself a favor… go to the next towns over.Thank you for your heartfelt response that in no way feels soulless or like a robot responded . I think you either missed the point or just don’t care. It’s not just once or twice. I’m not just passing through. You over charge on a daily basis. I love goodwill. It is my hobby to go. I travel all over. I plan my routes to take state roads around the country so I can stop at thrift stores.. not just goodwill.. but certainly goodwill more than not because you have no real competition and you’re everywhere nationwide. It’s not goodwill that gets 1 star. It’s just this store. I don’t understand why. Examples are abundant and should you need some I’d be happy to provide.

Clean area, lot's of parking, handicap accessible and easy to find. Donation drop off is easy to spot & marked off with cones. Upon arrival someone will come out & meet you to receive your donations.

I find this Goodwill gets really good selections of clothing brands in good to excellent condition. I've found numerous things new with tags. But as others commented I must agree that non clothing items can be a bit overpriced and also as stated, for being even if slightly used shouldn't be priced higher than what you'd find brand new in a regular store. I got to give it high marks though for keeping up with organization and cleanliness, even on a busy day. Clothing and general items are kept neatly on racks and shelves. All the comments on staff I believe depends on who you get. I don't go too frequently, but the times I've been, I can't say the workers are difficult or rude in fact so far they've been curteous and accommodating. I just find it interesting how this is one of few Goodwill's within the area that has a great clothing selection. To me I think that is what sets them apart from others. On the flipside, they have few furniture and houseware. Nonetheless, I've always enjoyed it and generally leave with at least a couple of items.

Terrible, terrible place! Took a truck load of items (no clothing, just household items - several Home Interior items, books, kitchen items, good Tupperware, and working small appliances). The man at the drop off door looked over the edge for about 2 seconds and said we can’t take this stuff. When I asked him why he rudely said, “We only take sellable items!”. I said how do you know it’s not sellable to which he said, “I’m looking at it!” There was good items in the truck.Maybe they only want clothing?!?Truth is, it was hot out, and they didn’t want to unload it.Shame, The Salvation Army took 5 boxes and said they could sell it easily.Won’t recommend the Goodwill in Griffin GA!!!

Too hot in there to SERIOUSLY shop. Store smelled awful from it. What is up with retail lately and the AC? They wonder why no one wants to work there.

The customer service skills needs to be managed better. I love Goodwill stores, but I will not be shopping in the one located at 1424 north expressway, Griffin GA again. Their customer service needs lots of work, I left feeling very num.Worse experience!

I will never try to go to this store again. Only store in griffin infringing on people's rights. Can't go into the store without a mask on. If I could I would give - negative stars. Working at this store is also a joke. Store should stay closed if they are so scared of covid. Honestly.

Best prices of any Goodwill I've ever shopped. All the others reviews of folks saying their prices are too high...they better not go to any Columbus Goodwill stores or they'll mess their britches.

It's a good store but it always is so so so hot... No air conditioning. The clothing is semi organized and books are in good order as well! Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Choices are slim unless you’re looking for junk. No one here seems to know how to ring people up either. Took 40 minutes to ring up three people who only had a few items. I love thrifting and always look for a goodwill first but I will not be returning here.
