The store has many items that have expired. In my experience so now I always check my items. Especially with the Hispanic items, yogurts and bread. Takes me 20 min to get here and it’s a lot of driving to be coming back and forward. Please improve your customer service. I don’t need to hear everyone’s profanity and judgmental rude comments about other coworkers they have. Why one does this and that doesn’t. Not all of your cashiers like to great people at the registers. All shifts are the same experience’s.

Horrible customer service. Cashier at Register 2 is rude, we went to go get checked out, she left the register to go and help pay for someone she knew groceries and told us we was going to have to wait. Everyone is walking around on their phones including the manager. It's just horrible.

You'll need to watch them as they ring up your items. The cashier that I had, while kind, did Not know what she was doing. I HATED my experience at this store. I would say the cashier's name but, I think that she wasn't well trained and I would not want her to be fired. Just simply, better trained and ask more questions if she doesn't know. That's m my bad experience. You, the reader, my have a better experience than I had.

Most all of the staff has been kind and helpful. When i first started shopping there a few months ago they always had baskets available. I asked a manager (bald headed one) about a basket and he completely blew me off about it. Yes i may have to walk to the store but as a customer this should have never happened. That's why they get 4 stars from me vs the 5. Other then that the staff is great ;).

I was so excited to visit the grocery store from Fried Green Tomatoes. I honestly would not have cared if the store was awful. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety of items. The produce section is huge! The prices are very reasonable as well. Of course I did love standing in the same spot as Kathy Bates too!

Edit 07/16/2023I had a rather rude employee (female blonde stocker) confront my mither aggressively because she was "taking too long to select her bacon". I had no idea customers had a time limit? She then had the nerve to say and I quote, "some of us have a job to do".She's worked there for ages and she's normallta pretty friendly and helpful person. I'm not sure if she was having a poor day or what but NO EMPLOYEE should ever act like that.Old ReviewFood depot needs to be boycotted because they are not allowing return policies on their own proeducts when they have not expired and regardless if there was anything wrong with the product or not. There have been times I have gone in there and had asked exchanged it for something different and have refused it even if I had a receipt or not.

The place is pretty well stocked, its very neat and very clean. While most of the staff is friendly and helpful, there are a few rude staff members; that can be said of most places though. The meat prices are fabulous, and i can always walk out with twice as many dinners than i couldve gotten at Wal-Mart!

While shopping I noticed pantry moths all on 1 particular bin of items. I went to the manager and he had the items removed from the store immediately. I was also able to find everything I was looking for.

They have plenty of riding carts for handicap patrons. The store is easy to navigate. I don't like the %10 upcharge at the register and then sales tax. The parking lot is fairly well kept.

Food Depot has very fair prices for most items. You can't beat the selection of fruits, veggies and spices. Wide selection of ethnic food. Latin, Jamaica, South Asian groceries will keep you coming back. Good price on most beer and wine, not to mention the veriaty. Now have a lot of local brews. Overall very friendly atmosphere.

I live within bicycling distance of Food Depot. I and my wife often ride there when we only need a backpack full of groceries. The employees are always very friendly and helpful, the store is well stocked and the pricing is very competitive. I appreciate the fact that Food Depot hires a large number of handicapped people as well.

While the store is great and they have a good selection of items the staff is beyond rude. Cashier threatened to have me permanently banned from the store for using my husband's debit card to purchase bread and bologna. Did this in front of another customer, while being loud and rude towards me. Had a very nasty attitude with me. As I was walking away she proceeded to insult me and talk about me to the next customer. Attempts to reach customer service over this issue has not worked, and I simply get ignored. I will not shop there again.

I love this store, great prices on meat and I love their produce department, they have a better selection than kroger, and better prices. The employees are always friendly. The store is clean, plenty of staff to ensure a fast check out.

Have best meat of any local store. Prices are good BUT you do have 10% mark-up at checkout, so be careful as you could overpay with that. Store is not ideally set-up and can be difficult to navigate.

Well....I personally didn't shop here. I was helping out a friend. She needed a few things. Simple in and out. The staff was kind and friendly to us both. I had no issues. If you have a food depot near you..go for it!

Was hoping prices on par with Walmart. Pricing was higher on most things and selection was lacking in the produce department. No individual Roma tomatoes; one brand of lettuces to choose from and most looked browned in the bags already.Store was clean and staff friendly, but sometimes price and selection make the difference. Honestly would recommend Kroger for a normal supermarket vs Food Depot

Everyone working there are always ready to assist you find what you're looking for. They are polite and the store is clean with wide isles. The prices are very low compared to Kroger.

Cheap groceries. Surplus tax of 10% which is no big deal because if you shop well then it doesn't matter. I like the unusual brands and variety of foods they stock. Bags of whole fish with the head. Great for stuffing and grilling.

We always buy our ground beef here. I love the way they put 2 small roasts in 1 pack. I freeze them. Always tender! We also buy calf liver for our dogs! But add that 10 percent follow shoppers! It's worth it!!

Absolutely hate this store. From the poor selection of produce to the unrecovered shelves. The thing about this store the most is the non engaging cashiers who are far more interested in the conversation theyre having with baggers than they are in saying hello thanks for choosing food depot. The meat used to be good here but its gone really downhill.

Love the service and the prices for their laundry detergent is by far cheaper than ANYWHERE else! I don't mind paying the 10% . Thanks guys! Will definitely be back soon!

This was a large door and unlike most of the food Depots that I have shopped in this when was immaculate all except for the restrooms. Prices for good people were friendly bathroom needed attention.

Stopped here for the first time last night. Most likely won't come back. First there was an employee just riding around in the parking lot on one of the motorized carts. When we asked him if he was racing he told us he was bored. We proceeded inside and grabbed a few items. Looked around as we have never been in Food Depot. Then went to check out. The only thing the cashier said to us was what we owed. Didn't get a hello, thank you or goodbye. Atleast the receipt says Thanks! The employees were too busy having a conversation that I guess we interupted.

I know a lot of people aren't convinced that the 10% at the register is saving you money, and honestly I couldn't tell you either way, but I couldn't tell you about any other grocery store either, I guess it just depends on how you feel about it, it's got everything you need except a deli but that's ok, it stays well stocked up and I usually have a good time shopping there..
