The biscuit is actually great, and I'd order them anytime cause it's hard to find good biscuits that are soft and tender, and nothing was dry about them at all. Now, mistaken me for another black guy wasn't good because I almost got the wrong order, and that would've sucked but I'd go back it's a whole in the wall but compared to other spots it's cool.

I called and place a Togo order in which I asked for the price of a catfish dinner and what was included. The lady stated $14.00 and give it 30 minutes. Upon arriving, I walked in and asked if my order was ready, she stated give it a few minutes and the total was $17.00. I asked why so Hugh, was it the taxes she stated yes. I know that GA taxes are 7% on a dollar so that'll $.98 = $14.98. Once I made her aware of the price, she said well, it is $14.99. I then informed her $15+$1.05=$16.05. Thus lady said well you have to pay extras for Togo orders and it's like door dash🤔 I said ma'am, door dash would've del8vered my food instead I had to drive all the way over here to get my order. She stated aggressively, so do you want your money back. I said Please and Thank you! I've been supporting this business FOR YEARS, YES THEY HAVE GOOD FOOD BUT AFTER TODAY, DEALING WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! To everyone that's reading this, NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO TAKE ANYTHING FROM YOU, NOT EVEN A PENNY!

After such great reviews, I thought this would be a great experience. Cute and dainty little hole in the wall tucked away. We paid $30 for an "okay" meal with horrible wait service. We had to ask for refills BOTH times. The waitress had her baby there and was "trying" to tend to customers and tend to her baby. While we waited for a refill and our check, she said "I'm going to take the baby for a walk." Really? And she had someone assisting her with the baby. This was today (Saturday) around 11 AM. ALL OF MY FOOD CAME OUT COLD. Cheese nor margarine was melted in the grits. French toast was tough. The biscuit and gravy was watery and cold. My husband got ONE TINY REDLINK with a $12 plate. It's hard to find decent food and service nowadays. My hubby may go back, but I sure won't. I do like that you are served in paper plates and drinks in to go cups.

My coworker and I are doing an out of town job in Griffin and we're looking for a good biscuit place and we definitely found it here. This is a wonderful southern gathering place with great food and kind, quick service at affordable prices. We will definitely be regulars here while in town.

The biscuits are huge. They are good and fresh. The portions are tremendous. Our gravy was served cold. We had to wait a while on our food and I expected it to be hot. Sodas are served with cans and cups of ice. If you like fountain sodas, you may want to order something else. If you’re a coffee aficionado, you won’t want to order coffee. The coffee is cheap tasting. I wish they would accept debit/credit cards. I was disappointed. I would like to see them do well. I hope they make some improvements and do better. I wish them the best.

Cooked with low amount of seasoning, salt and pepper on the table to adjust to your particular taste. Best cooked egg in town. Unlike many other breakfast places, the care put into my eggs (over medium) was impressive. The smoked sausage is spicy like a smoked redhot. The biscuits and gravy were a great side item. The bacon is really good and not from cheap stock like many other. Food is served on foam plates which works with the country kitsch aesthetic of the interior. The grits taste like they are made with water instead of milk.I really enjoyed my meal and my time Southern Shack.

I'm new to the area so of course I googled "breakfast near me" .. The Biscuit Shack popped up and we said, let's try it... Well when we found it and pulled into the parking lot we looked at each other for a brief moment and then said it looks a like Mom & Pop operation and they are Always the best places to eat.... No chain restaurants just a great little place that we soon found out serves excellent food at very good prices ! We had breakfast that first time and 2 or 3 days later came back for lunch ! Everything was delicious and I happened to get fries with my lunch and they were the Best Fries that I ever remember eating in my life and I just turned 63 ! All the food was HOT like it should be and rare at most restaurants these days and the fries were a bit crunchyon the outside, for lack of a better way to describe the deliciousness of them. They were just perfect.. Anyway without describing all of the items, I'll say that they are the best and that they really know how to cook a great meal And serve it.. Again I'll mention that the prices are Very reasonable and the servers there could not have been any nicer or more attentive to our needs.. The Biscuit Shack immediately went on our favorite restaurant lists ! I definitely recommend this place if you want Great Food, Great Service, and a Great Price !! I'm going back early tomorrow for breakfast 😁..

This is the best place in Griffin Ga.toeat breakfast the ham and bicuits are to die for I'm not usually a breakfast person but my husband got me to go and I didn't want to go but I went anyway and boy I'm glad I did go because I wake up every morning wanting to go eat ham and bicuits with a bowl of grits with cheese on top of the grits and the people that work there are so sweet and nice always have a smile on there faces if you have not been here you need to go visit at least once . It is a great place.

I have had every biscuit in Griffin and This is by far the best biscuit in Spalding County.. I give their biscuits a 9.5 only because my moms biscuit was hard to beat.

This is a favorite breakfast spot for my husband and me. Granted, it's far from fancy or glamorous, but the breakfast is AMAZING. Those biscuits, though. The breakfast is always worth the 1000000 calories I probably consume by eating at this establishment.

Good food and great small town atmosphere. Do not go on Saturday. The waitress on Saturday is horrible. You must get up and ask for drinks, or anything else you need. Otherwise, the place is great.
