Went to Big Lots Griffin to shop around for holiday and Christmas gift and decorations. Found a centerpiece which was Christmas themed, but had no tag or price on the item and the only item available. Went to the check-out and asked about price and the Gentleman at the register was very polite and helpful and said the item was $ 12.00. Ok so after done in the store and ready to check-out the assistant manager was with this checker and he told her price that was given and asked if ok. This assistant manager instead of agreeing to the price, made us stand there several minutes and she wanted to determine the cost. Might be noted their was a few decorations with minor damage. So this assistant manager not being friendly or helpful stated the price was $. 20.00 not the $ 12.00 previous quoted. As stated not very friendly assistant manager and told her we did not want it at that price. So checked out what other items we had and leaving the store notice this assistant manager outside by the door busy smoking her cigarette. She was very unpleasant and seemed not wanting to help.

I've been very pleased with their inventory lately. Store is kept neat and clean. Check out was slower than usual. One register was open... while three workers stood there at registers. Perhaps the extras were training.

I just purchased a brand new couch from this location today. It took over 30 minutes for someone to service me because they are short staffed. After finally being serviced found a couch that was at a very good price. They didn’t have much in stock but the prices on the 1s they did have were very cheap. They use a man named Wade to do their deliveries. He got it to me less than 3 hours after I purchased it. He was great. Overall good experience and because of their cheap prices I will buy from there again

Staff are nice. Aisles are mostly clean. A few empty shelves make it seem like they're missing items. Transitioning from Halloween to Christmas is really early, in the second week of October.

Once upon a time I would have given Big Lots a 4 or 5 star rating. The one in Griffin, GA never seems to carry stuff at competitive pricing any longer.To use an example, I've purchased towels at Walmart for like $10. Big Lots once upon a time may had been $10-12. Now I wouldn't expect it for less than $20.Another issue is their stock has decreased considerably over the years. They used to carry a variety of office supplies. I went to Big Lots earlier this month only to find out they didn't carry mailers and clasp manilla envelope.

The store in Griffin is Always stocked and grand opening ready. The associates, Especially the young man that checked out my order today, are all knowledgeable and helpful. Great shopping experience!!!

This is the most organized and tidy Big Lots I have ever been in!!! Most Big Lots stores feel like you are at a garage sale at the end of the day, but not the one in Griffin. They have done a great job of keeping the place clean and organized, and everything is folded and in its correct place!

The store itself is good and I would have given it 5 stars if it had not been for their furniture delivery problem. They outsource delivery to guy with a 4-cylinder truck with an attachment. First, I had purchased 2 couches but he was late with delivery. It was at first supposed to be delivered at 1pm, then 2pm, then it ended up being closer to 3. Upon arrival, he came solo with no help. I had to tell him to get another person which I had an additional wait on that. Then he charged me $20 extra dollars for the additional person (his teenage son) when that should have been a given any time you are moving that kind of furniture. This was absolutely ghetto. I was going to bypass writing the review and calling the store to complain if he hadn't tried to get $20 more dollars out of me. Totally sad....

I liked Big Lots many years ago when they resembled what Bargain Hunt is today. They have gotten bigger and more organized over the last 25 years. Still a really good place to shop,just not as interesting and kind of chaotic as they used to be.

Had a 4 piece wicker patio loveseat set with cushions for $399.00 but said it was out of stock. And didn't know when or if they would get it in. I offered to buy the one on display and they said they couldn't. So very disappointed!!! And I'm sure if they get it back in the price will go up!!!

They continue to get new items, except for a couple spots they were full. I get all my seasons from here I get the large container for cheaper price. They often have items you don't find every where else, when you look these items up online they are wayyy more expensive.

The female cashier was the worse employee I ever met. She should be FIRED. Rude and more concerned about texting on her damn phone. Didn't say a word and gave you an eat sh.. look. Unbelievable. Even told her she was the most unfriendly person I met. But lots needs to send their employees to customer service training.

Staff extremely helpful but not particularly friendly one visit there during afternoon hours. Store well stocked, great assortment of products, easy navigation, accessible selections of stock, but not enough employees, checkout had one register open.
