My husband & I visit every year after we drop our children off at a near by summer camp. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing night before we drive back to TN. Then a week later, we drive back to get our kids and all 4 of us stay for 2 nights before we drive back home. We absolutely love this place and they consistently get a 5 star review in every category!! We’re looking forward to this year’s visit 🤗

My husband selected this property for a low-key getaway weekend and ww were very pleased with our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly at every encounter, and the room and patio provided a lovely, comfortable environment for a couples getaway weekend. The hotel also offers a lot of amenities that would be great fun when the weather is a little warmer.Rooms: We stayed in what I think they called an executive king suite. It was lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed

We visited in early March, so understandably the weather was mediocre at best.The food could not have been better. Not cheap, but we knew what we signed up for. Service the whole time was top-notch. Fantastic 2-night experience. We never left the resort.The only complaint was that the guest internet would intermittently drop and reconnect. Annoying for streaming on personal devices.

We did not stay at the hotel, but did spend an afternoon at Gabby's. We sat at the bar and Natasha was our bartender. She was superb! Made some fantastic drinks for us and was so personable and professional. Absolute delight! The setting is beautiful, right on the lakefront with amazing views. Laid back vibe. We had an appetizer that was wonderful. It was a gloomy day, but the view and to woodburning fireplace made for an excellent afternoon. Highly recommend!

Think Ritz goes to summer camp. Lovely, exemplary of what a luxury getaway should be. Grounds are beautiful, plenty to see and do for all ages. World-class golf surrounds the property. Unfortunately, the spa was being renovated, but we'll be back next year to check it out. Oh, and dogs are welcome, pooches everywhere!Walkability: Miles of trails surrounding

The food all throughout is 2 stars at most, definitely expected more from Ritz-Carlton. The only redeeming food place is the coffee shop and I can only speak for the coffee there. Service and people were really nice, the bed (amazing) and the people are the only thing that is 5 stars. Otherwise, just nice but definitely overpriced for what it isFood & drinks: Terrible. Wings in room service were the only good thing over 4 nights there

I absolutely loved our recent visit to this location. We travel often and our hotel of choice is always the Ritz. This tucked away hotel/resort has it all. It’s decorated to perfection and the rooms were spotless. The beds were cozy and the sheets were soft. We frequented the restaurants and loved everything. The gluten free options were great as well. We already book a future stay. My children were thrilled with all of the activities such as arcade, ice rink nightly s’mores,playgrounds,pool and the food. Santa was present and they even had a little train for the kids to ride. Our entire family enjoyed our stay on the beautiful grounds. Little streams and an infinity pool. We can’t wait to come back. Went to Ritz Carlton just to get away. The room was beautiful although we had to request them to remove a bug from a pillow case, and the shower pooling from a slow drain issue. They are currently renovating so the pool is not open. While there enjoyed the beautiful property, along with a wonderful breakfast. Upon checkout requested that my Bonvoy number be added and my portfolio emailed. Provided the gentleman with the Bonvoy number, was confirmed it was added and email was sent. Sadly did not receive the email, nor was advised that a name on the reservation would prevent me from receiving my points. Contacted the hotel back when I didn’t see my points I was advised to contact Bonvoy customer service. Bonvoy advised it was odd they would refer me to them because they have 10 days to send updates to the account. So I called back and spoke with Patricia who advised that Charles completed my checkout and he would be talked with about not completing my request. This did not solve my call inquiry or provide me with an escalation process. So I called back and requested a manager and left a voicemail on a young lady’s ext. As of 2/23/24 almost 2 weeks later I have heard nothing back. Please ensure that the reservation includes your Bonvoy number upon check-in so that you can focus on the memories.

We have been coming here for the last eight years and it is a great resort property that is always improving. Almost every year this property renovates an area of the hotel. Bring your family her to make memories. The room rates have doubled since we first started staying here, but don't let that detract you from staying. It is the ultimate Georgia getaway.

We came for Thanksgiving fromFL and we were very impressed. We have a 2.5 year old and stayed in the fireside lake view which was gorgeous! The food was excellent, (I’m pregnant and they were very accommodating) the property is very kid friendly, and service was exceptional! I had have the worst experiences ever staying at this hotel in my life. My shoes got stolen right in my room while I was staying there. I did report to the lost department before I left. They have been transferring me to talk to different departments but no one took responsibilities and gave me the answer. It has been over two months but they didn’t call me back.Watching out your stuff during staying in there, don’t bring any valuable personal items with you!!! The staff is not trustworthy!!!Safety: Not safe at all!!!

Beautiful room, spa, gym, and trails around the resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. I really want to rate 5 stars because the resort was so incredible, however there was just minor frustration not being able to snag a tennis court to work with a pro or clinic, even calling a few weeks in advance. I will definitely be back with my kids, and will just need to call way way in advance to reserve a court for playing time.

Fabulous! We loved our stay here! The staff is especially excellent. From the valet to the check in to the nice girl at the s’mores roast to the cleaning staff, cafe, cookie lady in the lobby, spa attendants—everyone was awesome! The grounds are gorgeous and there’s plenty of free and fun activities, including three pools (one which is indoors). There’s kayaks, paddle boards, an arcade, crafts, shuffleboard, ping pong, basketball, etc. The most comfy beds ever! The food is expensive but it is what it is. The spa was wonderfully relaxing and again, everyone was sooo nice.

Beautiful location and property and buildings. Staff seems as if they were just hired or don't care...unsure which. Food is mediocre in every venue, we tried them all & the two catered meals for our events were just awful. Prices are astronomical for activities - we rented a boat for 3 hours...it was over $1000 with a $1500 security deposit. We were told boats would have full tank of gas ( nope,cut had half a tank, ruined our afternoon because we had to return early in order to not run out of gas & they wouldn't refund the hour, said Not their responsibility). We were told boats would be equipped with ice chests & drinks. There was a small lunchbox sized cooler with 4 bottles of water. We were told sunscreen would be provided on each boat...they tossed us a used tube of someones sunscreen that was nearly empty. So...a huge ripoff. Just so disappointing that a great facility treats it's paying guests so poorly

It really is the ultimate Ritz Carlton experience. Everything about the property is second to none. If I had one critique, some of the rooms could use an update in my opinion. The hotel has been there long enough that some rooms could use some TLC. Not to say they aren’t stunning, they just feel really used and could use some new furniture or carpet. Other than that, you will not be disappointed!

The rooms at the resort are overpriced based on what you receive. Everything cost extra. The only thing that did not cost money was the water. No complementary extras based on how much you paid for the room. They only have Valet parking. When you arrive they take your key and your car and you have to buy your car back. The resort workers were friendly, but expected a tip for any service provided. Had to wait an extra hour for our room upon arrival. I would not recommend staying here.

Have a bad back and between traveling and golf had to schedule a massage therapy appointment during our visit. Rooms are very well done, therapists very professional and attentive, subtle features like hot lavender/eucalyptus towels, towel rolls to support your neck, etc. Every step was professionally done and would highly recommend. Also was given access to their locker room, showers, hot and cold plunge pools and saunas. Didn't want to leave! Staff friendly and professional. Very well done!

I went to the Ritz Carlton for a conference. The place is beautiful. Most of the staff was nice except one of the baggage boys and one blond headed lady when we checked in. When I got my receipt I was charged for things I never bought. There was a $108 charge for their restaurant Gabby's. Gabby's is not that good to speak d $108. Then I was charged a resort fee and 6.48 for something else. Mind you, I only used that card for the $200 incidental fees. I used it no where else! The nice guy at the front by the name of Imet was kind enough to reverse the resort fee and he was told they would refund me the$108 for the Gabby's that I did not buy. I had to call finance 3 times before someone called me back. She said the charges should drop off in a couple of days since it was still in pending. It did not. I called and left another message and I still have not received a call back. I am going to dispute it through my credit card. This dampened my overall good experience because who likes their money being stolen? And the finance department gets an F. So beware of your money if you go there.
