If I could give zero stars I would. Consistently AWFUL. Always screw up MD orders and prescription status, refills always complicated...long wait times and...they actually shut down the pharmacy completely in the middle of day to take lunch...as if it were a mom and pop business...not a retail chain pharmacy. Many people only have their lunch breaks to run errands. It is insanity at this pharmacy...and sad thing, I have used CVS in other cities for years with no issue...but for 5 years here at Lake Oconee....consistently bad. Even the MD offices are disgusted with this pharmacy. I called Pubix...will be transferring to them.

Understaffed!!! My prescriptions are supposed to be on auto fill EVERY month I have to call for my inhaler and EVERY month it has to be ordered which takes some times 3 days to come in

Building itself is clean and organized. That is the only reason for two stars.The staff in the shop does not want to be there and they make that very clear. I will give some credit as my fourth time in a woman did ask if I needed assistance - I appreciated that.They are going to self check out only so it can be hard to find someone to actually check you out if needed. The self checkout machines are terrible. They are constantly malfunctioning and only one takes cash. Half the time you try to check out on the machines they have an error and then you still have to wait for assistance.The pharmacist is….not great. He does not want to be working. He works at the pace of a slow snail. It can take DAYS to get prescriptions - even when doctors call them in and it is basic. My mom had a cold and we waited all day to pick up her prescription that the doctor told her to start today.The pharmacy tech was great. The pharmacist gave zero communication and did not ask if we had any questions or concerns which was surprising for me considering I have always been asked.

I changed to this CVS because it was close to my doctor. My first experience was horrible! I talked to the store manager and he assured me that it was just a fluke. Nope! Second trip … They are just that rude, don’t want to do their job and don’t care. I am now driving all the way to downtown Eatonton after two horrible experiences at this CVS. The store in Eatonton is rundown, but the people in the pharmacy are so nice and helpful! Thirty extra minutes of driving is worth not having to deal with passive aggressive incompetence!

My husband made an appointment online for a Covid booster shot. He completed all of the requisite information online and arrived on time for the appointment. The pharmacist had no record of him and had him complete all the information again. She took his original vaccination card. After another 30 minutes we inquired about how much longer. She rudely said that when the assistant got off of the phone with doctors’ offices that she wold get to him. We asked how long and she said it could be an hour. We asked for his card back. She rudely stated that we couldn’t have it because it had already been signed that the booster had been given. Then the person on the phone yelled to the pharmacist “just get me some white-out and they can leave”. Done - we left and will never enter that store again. BTW - the pharmacist stated that she cannot give a vaccine because CVS does not cover her liability insurance . And, I am not just complaining on this site but will go to store and district managers and to corporate. No pharmacist should treat people in this manner.

I don’t know why people are literally getting on here telling lies about how great this store is when clearly the consensus is that they are the worst. There are a few and I mean a very few people there that are nice and will help. Everyone else is rude and they never really answer the phone. I have a bad experience every single time I have to use them. It never fails, something always goes wrong and they are always rude about it no matter how nice and patient I try to remain. I understand the store is understaffed at times that is why I try to be patient but being understaffed is not an excuse to be rude and unprofessional. I hate this store and I will be going to Publix as much as I can and I have been a CVS customer since 2006. This pharmacy needs an overhaul immediately!!!!

Prescriptions never ready when they are supposed to be. One prescription needs to be given same time each day or rapid withdrawal can cause seizure. Thats what happened to me. They apologized and following month they didn't have it again. This time they sent me to a different pharmacy that has it in stock. They swear its the government who won't let them order so they are on time. The FDA says they monitor, but don't refuse to let them give patients the prescription. I asked if another store could have it in stock, they replied that they probably would but I would have the to figure out what store and go get it myself. They are lazy, rude, unhelpful, and it's scary them playing with my life on their own rules and regulations.

Wait is way to long to get prescriptions filled. Was told to call in for refills, it would be quicker. So, I called two (2) days ahead ,get there, waited 20 minutes and was told it was never filled and I could come back in a hour.

If 0 stars was an option, that'd be the honest answer but it isn't so 1 will have to work.The lady working Christmas around lunch time (can't remember her name) is ridiculously rude and unprofessional, pretty sure she's the same lady that I've had multiple other similar experiences with. I called to verify they were open like it said online which is why I can't 100% say it's the same older lady who's always rude and acts miserable and takes that out on customers. I asked if they were fully open as normal, making sure just pharmacy etc wasn't the only thing open. And she rudely said yes we're open till 8 and I mean 8 sharp, at 8 the door will be locked not a minute past 8.... I didn't even ask when they closed and I called at 11 am. Not even close to closing time for her to say this. I then asked her if they had any toys left or was they pretty much wiped out as every where else had been, she said I mean uh yeah, I think you can feel free to actually come in and look for yourself if you wanna know. I hung up and DIDN'T EVEN go to the store and won't again. I asked only to not have to drive 30 minutes if they didn't have anything hardly left especially being crunched for time. This lady needs to be fired.

Had a prescription called in on Thursday. Went by Sunday and had to wait to get it filled. There is always a line a checkout because they are understaffed. I have never been to such a poorly run CVS but it is 5 minutes from the house. Avoid if at all possible.This was originally a 2 star review until my wife had a prescription called in when she got sick. Called in at 10am. 530 pm not filled. Pharmacist said they are 4-5 days behind then is short with another customer. Absolute joke of a pharmacy.

I never write reviews but feel the need to express my frustrations and concern with the pharmacy department. Specifically a rude tech that has zero patience. She has been rude to me and my entire family every single time we get our prescriptions filled. We have all transferred to another pharmacy due to this tech. The pharmacy is slow to fill prescriptions.

The young lady named Jacqueia was so helpful and pleasant. They were 30 min from closing time and still helped complete my tasks. She is a very genuine person. Hope they give her a raise! I'll be back for sure!!

Only 2 people working in the pharmacy and they were hustling. People in the drive up were pestering but they kept their cool with them. Pharmacist Katherine was so compassionate and friendly and FAST!

Consistently rude pharmacy staff. Always understaffed. Waited 30 minutes to drop off an Rx at 9:30am on a Saturday which still wasn’t ready at 6pm. This was my 3rd & last attempt using this ‘convenient to me ‘location. I understand places get busy but the rudeness & don't care attitude of the staff is too much.

Problems abound but it’s not due to lack of effort from the employees. The prescription work load seems to be high for the amount of employees. Checkout have been slow due to only one cashier. Several times our prescriptions were late or not filled correctly. I even waited for over an hour because they forgot to announce my prescription was finished. Also some basic items have been out of stock. Please analyze the workload and hire more employees.

This CVS will absolutely not let you get a walk-in flu shot even if no one is in line. Pharmacy customer service is really bad here. One lady is even arguing with me about an rx. I had to prove to her what I was saying was true.Update: went to Ingles Madison got flu shot in 3 minutes

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever tried using. Called 3 times to get a prescription transferred. They never contacted my home pharmacy to get the prescription transferred leaving me without medicine. Do not use this pharmacy if you care about your health

Had the WORST experience I have ever had with Customer Service!!! I sat in the drive-thru for the pharmacy for an entire hour! When I first drove up nobody came to the window or even looked my way for 25 minutes - then when a girl finally came up to it, I told her how horrible their customer service was and she agreed. I said I wanted the manager and the RUDE Pharmacist came up and told me “we aren’t a fast food drive thru. I don’t know why we even have it to begin with - you should have just came inside and why are you even here??” He said to me “I am back here trying to save peoples lives and I can wait two days to fill your medicine if I want” I said I received the text message saying it was ready and I wanted it NOW, not in two days - I need it. I will NEVER spend another penny in that place!!!!!!

At 5pm I waited 35 minutes for a prescription that was called in the previous morning at 9am. The place is obviously extremely unorganized and understaffed. Not to mention I heard the pharmacy tech say “shit” at least four times, which is just extremely unprofessional. Everyone there seemed genuinely annoyed. And after waiting I never even received a “sorry for the wait” - nothing. She just handed me my prescription and was like “here.” There’s a pretty big number of older people in this area and it hurts my heart that they’re receiving this treatment. I should’ve read the reviews before coming here. I’m definitely going across the street to Publix. Do better, CVS.

I went to get tested for covid -19 .Their was only two people working one at the drive thur and the other selecting medicine for orders. Three people waiting when I walkup. I looked up the reviews online. These reviews were not good. I went and asked if home quick test was available to buy. The lady said yes they have them behind the counter up front. I purchased it and left.

Hands down the worst ran pharmacy that I've ever had the misfortune of being affiliated with. They never, ever answer the phone. It is normal for hold times to exceed an hour and then be disconnected. They send text messages that medications are ready to be picked up but when you arrive you are lucky if the "ready for pick up" medication is ready within 45 minutes.

The staff at CVS are extremely kind and helpful. The customers that come into CVS, however, are rude and entitled. They are impatient with no manners. They don't understand how to act like human beings! The staff at CVS handled these rude customers with professionalism and grace, and in a very timely manner. Thank you staff!!

Incredibly rude staff in the pharmacy. I went back there to get a product recommendation for a slight problem I've been having and the woman behind the counter told me, no exaggeration, to "Go home and take a shower."Terrible customer service. I also had to wait for her to get off the phone from some personal call for 10 minutes. People like this should be fired. Will never come here again.

Very disappointed! The cashier is so rude. Asked for passport picture. she didn’t reply at first and rolled her eyes. Then she said ok go stand up in front of that little area. She took the picture of my 17 year old son from her personal cell phone .when I asked about why she using her personal phone she said,”you can get me it done somewhere else and she refused to show me the picture.

I feel sorry for the employees at this location. The company needs to hire more employees to help with the volume of customers. They are always slammed and when it's slow they are trying to play catch up. The group of ladies that work in the pharmacy are nice and very helpful. I hate to see them overwork and probably under paid. On top of all of that most times they have to deal with rude customers.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff in the pharmacy. I have been a customer of CVS for over 18 years and have never been so disrespected as I was this last visit to the Lake Oconee CVS. The pharmacy tech was incredibly rude to me and my husband . She is known around the area for being insulting and impolite. The manager informed me he has had several complaints about her . Why CVS would choose to keep someone like her working with customers is beyond me. Me and my entire family have changed pharmacies and will never go to CVS again.

There is a pharmacy staff member who was so rude over the phone, literally hung up the phone during call, would not listen to my situation, bad wait time, she didn’t even know that it is possible for the customer to transfer the Rx online. I will never return. I’ve been to the cvs in person, didn’t have a real problem until I called about a Rx. Staff member was very ignorant, rude, and told us that she didn’t care where we went to get the Rx filled. If she didn’t understand our situation or question all she had to do was transfer the call to someone else. Please if you must go to a pharmacy in the Lake Oconee area go to either Publix or Lake Oconee Pharmacy.
